    I just upgraded my Silverlight 3 project to Silverlight 4. After spending 2 hours fixing up all the code issues, I'm now able to build my project... and low and behold, every single browser I attempt to run in is crashing, and I'm getting the following exception in code: An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in System.Windows.dll Hopefully StackOverflow can help me with this... StackOverflow. Has anyone else seen this?

  • Snow Leopard sqlite3-ruby install problem

    UPDATE 3/20/10 I'm running Mac OSX Snow Leopard, this problem is caused by a recent train wreck in which I updated ruby without RVM. I've attempted to properly install/run RVM, however I can't get it to work. I am unable to install the sqlite3-ruby gem.     I've been looking for a pre-built jQuery component that I could use to build an inbox for a messaging application: http://jqueryui.com/demos/accordion/ I was thinking that if I could close all of the elements in the Accordion, that would be equivalent to showing a list of unopened messages when the user first logs into their Inbox. And then, by clicking on the leaves of the Accordion, they can see each message one by one. Is this a good idea or is there some other jQuery plugin that would work better for this type of functionality?

My web service is slow, and my queue can have many, many messages and I would like to ensure that the consumer doesn't kill my database. Is there a build-in way to perform throttling in RabbitMQ, either time-based(only X messages per minute/second/hour) or some other mechanism?

  • MinGW/G++/g95 link problem - libf95 undefined reference to `MAIN_'

    Hi folks, Summing up, my problem consists on compiling g95 objects inside a C++ application. Actually, I'm constructing an interface for an old fortran program. For this task, I'm using the wxWidgets GUI library, and calling fortran subroutines when necessary. At the beginning, I was developing the entire project compiling my fortran files with gfortran (which comes with GCC) and linking them with my app by the g++ -o... command. Everything was working fine but some numbers values calculated by my fotran subroutines returned NAN values. Doing some research, I realized that compiling my fortran files with gfortran with the -m32 flag, generates this NAN values problem. Although compiling with -m64 flag, my code works properly well. The only trouble here is that my App should be 32bits and then I tryed another compiller. Here I found g95 Fortran compiler, which compiles my fortran code and gives the right output on a 32bits environment. I know there are server side and flash based solutions already, but I want to build this in javascript using the canvas tag. It works well with predefined content, but I want to build my tags dynamically by getting the data from a feed via the $.ajax method. http://progadv.uuuq.com/jStockTicker/ The problem is when I do this the ticker wont work, as it looks like the function might be loading before my page content has loaded.     I'm using a Silverlight 4 WCF RIA Services demo application that uses LinqToSql, that works well. I add a new database table, move the new table to the LinqToSql designer and build the project I add a new DomainService class I get a dialog with the only option to create an empty DomainService and no DataContext classes are available.     Hello StackOverflow! We deploy our application using ClickOnce, installed from a file path. For 24 versions it has been working perfectly - now, on version 25 I get the following error once the application has installed and it launches: If I test a previous deployment on the same machine, it works. Where can I even begin to look to find the cause of this error? I already checked the windows event logs - nothing. EDIT: I noticed that while the dialog is displayed, a temporary xml file 'WER561D.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml' is generated in my temp folder. The 2 persistence units are defined in persistence.xml, as follows: <persistence-unit name="BeachWater"> <jta-data-source>jdbc/BeachWater</jta-data-source> ... <persistence-unit name="LIMS"> <jta-data-source>jdbc/BeachWaterLIMS</jta-data-source> ... These persistence units correspond to JDBC resources and connection pools which I had defined in Glassfish as follows (include one here as both are identical apart from names & database connection info): JDBC Resource: JNDI Name: jdbc/BeachWaterLIMS Pool Name: BEACHWATER_LIMS Connection Pool: Name: BEACHWATER_LIMS Datasource Classname: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerConnectionPoolDataSource Resource Type: javax.sql.ConnectionPoolDataSource There are 3 stateless session beans, LimsServiceBean, AnalysisServiceBean and AnalysisDataTransformationServiceBean.     I got the page flips and curls to work. I'll describe what happens... I build and Go The App opens in simulator I press a button and the page curls to page 2... but when it gets to page 2 the page drops down a bit. Why does this happen?
