  • Ajax not working in visual studio 2005

    I am trying to do an ajax website, but my ajax is not working. I checked my GAC and system.web,extensions dll is available. Why it is not working .? I am also not getting any errors. I tried many ways. Table has millions of records. Thx. EDIT: After using suggested MAXROWS method for some time (which works really really fast) I had to switch back to ROW_NUMBER method because of its greater flexibility. I am also very happy about its speed so far (I am working with View having more then 1M records with 10 columns). I'd like to move this installer to a Setup Project. How can I install over all of the previous UpgradeCodes installed by the various WIX installers?

  • Visual studio deployment project error when writing to registry

    Hello I have a setup for an application that was recently converted to be a framework 4.0 project (don't know if it's relevant). The setup has to write to registry (Local Machine) and until now this has always worked perfectly, however now it fails to write to registry on a clean machine (running Windows 7, 64 bit). The setup does not fail, does not show a warning of any kind, however it does not write to the registry (I even set AlwaysCreate property to true on every key, just in case) which of course causes the application to terminate on startup. What could be the cause of this? I have never encountered such an error before. Edit: I have tried running the installer as administrator, didn't change anything.

    I'm using Licensed componentone product in my ASP.NET application and spcefically i use C1WebReport1 control from the product.while upgrading C1WebReport1 control from version 2.5.20072.239 to 2.6.20093.53207,i get the error message as "Could not load file or assembly 'C1.Web.C1WebReport.2, Version=2.6.20093.53207, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=594a0605db190bb9' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)" can any one help me to bring complete solution? Thanks in advance.     For some reason the Intellisense in vb.net stopped working when I use an Aggregate Lambda expression inside a With statement. With Me.SalesPackage .WebLinks = Sales.Where(Function(f) f.Current.BookerWeb > 0).Count .WebAmount = Aggregate o In Sales.Where(Function(f) f.Current.WebBooker > 0) Into Sum(o.Current.WebPrice) End With If I insert a new line between .WebLinks and .WebAmount and start typing, it works. But it won't work if I do it after the Aggregate statement... Any ideas?

    Do you know how if you drag an <mx:Label> or <s:Label> component into your Flex project, when you go to design mode you get this panel on the right to set its properties like text etc. I have a custom component that I can call with actionscript, or with mxml like this: <comps:TheComp field1="OK" field2="Yes" /> The component takes this input and uses it for its internal operation private var field1:String; private var field2:String; private function initializeit() { // component takes the input and lays it out as needed } When I go to design mode, I can see the component under custom components, I can drag it to the stage and see it, but can't set its values field1 and field visually on the right like a normal <s:Label> or <mx:Label> would have. Any idea how I can add that? Do I need to make it inherit something or anything else

So here it is again: What are the possible ways to store an unsigned integer value (32-bit value or 32-bit bitmap) into a 4-byte field in SQL Server? Here are ideas I have seen: 1) Use a -1*2^31 offset for all values Disadvantages: need to perform math on the values before reading/writing/aggregating. 2) Use 4 tinyint fields Disadvantages: need to concatenate values to perform any operations 3) Use binary(4) Disadvantages: actually uses 4 + 2 bytes of space

  • Mysterious Flickering Visual Artifact

    A flashing bar of red appears at the top of the EAGLView that I have added as a subview in my iPhone app. It flickers on and off (i.e., one frame it's there, the next frame it's not, the next frame it's there again). I have removed a lot of code from my app until I'm essentially left with the stock OpenGL-ES project and a few changes: The glview is not fullscreen; it's a subview. I enabled the depth buffer. I'm not even trying to draw anything. If the glview is fullscreen, or if I disable the depth buffer, then there is no flicker and it works fine. But needless to say, this is a 3D view and I'd like to be able to display it within a larger UIKit view. I'm not sure what code would be useful to post, but here's how I add the glview to my main view: appDelegate.glView.frame = CGRectMake(245, 65, 215, 215); [self.view addSubview:appDelegate.glView]; [appDelegate.glView startAnimation]; Here's my render function: - (void) render { [EAGLContext setCurrentContext:context]; glBindFramebufferOES(GL_FRAMEBUFFER_OES, defaultFramebuffer); glViewport(0, 0, backingWidth, backingHeight); glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT | GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT); glBindRenderbufferOES(GL_RENDERBUFFER_OES, colorRenderbuffer); [context presentRenderbuffer:GL_RENDERBUFFER_OES]; } It seems pretty obvious to me that the problem lies with the depth buffer somehow, but I'm not sure why. Also, it works fine in the simulator, but not on my iphone. I'm using iPhone OS 3.1. Any ideas on where to look for a problem?

The window I want to create is similar to MacOs window, with title centered (with dropshadow effect), and controls button on left side of the window. I did create a bordless window, but some questions I have: 1 - How can I set it functionality of maximize, minimize and close buttons in XAML (if it's possible)? 2 - How can I define a window template so every new window I create have the same look and feel? 3 - Is it possible to create the Aqua maximize, minimize and close buttons using only elements from WPF (without using images)?
