• Parse.com REST API in Java (NOT Android)

  I am trying to use the Parse.com REST API in Java. I have gone through the 4 solutions given here https://parse.com/docs/api_libraries and have selected Parse4J. After importing the source into Netbeans, along with importing the following libraries: org.slf4j:slf4j-api:jar:1.6.1 org.apache.httpcomponents:httpclient:jar:4.3.2 org.apache.httpcomponents:httpcore:jar:4.3.1 org.json:json:jar:20131018 commons-codec:commons-codec:jar:1.9 junit:junit:jar:4.11 ch.qos.logback:logback-classic:jar:0.9.28 ch.qos.logback:logback-core:jar:0.9.28 I ran the example code from https://github.com/thiagolocatelli/parse4j Parse.initialize(APP_ID, APP_REST_API_ID); // I replaced these with mine ParseObject gameScore = new ParseObject("GameScore"); gameScore.put("score", 1337); gameScore.put("playerName", "Sean Plott"); gameScore.put("cheatMode", false); gameScore.save(); And I got that it was missing org.apache.commons.logging, so I downloaded that and imported it.   Hello, I have a WPF Application where I am trying to make a close button like image. I am trying to draw a border or have a border show up on mouse over... But I cannot seem to make it work. I have tried like 6 different methods of doing so...Images, borders with images, brushes, ect.   Basically, I'm trying to grab an EXE from CNet's Download.com So i created web parser and so far all is going well. • Correctly calling setGridWidth on a jqGrid inside a jQueryUI Dialog

  I have a jQueryUI dialog (#locDialog) which has a jqGrid ($grid) inside it. When the Dialog opens (initially, but it gets called whenever it opens), I want the $grid to resize to the size of the $locDialog. When I do this initially, I get scrollbars inside the grid (not inside the dialog). If I debug the code, I see the width of the $grid is 677. So, I call setGridWidth() again and check the width and now I have 659, which is 18px less, which is the size of the scroll area for the jqGrid (Dun-dun-dun..) When I rezie the dialog, I resize the grid as well, and everything is happy - no scrollbars, except where necessary. My dialog init code: $locDialog = $('#location-dialog').dialog({ autoOpen: false, modal: true, position: ['center', 100], width: 700, height:500, resizable: true, buttons: { "Show Selected": function() {alert($('#grid').jqGrid('getGridParam','selarrrow'));}, "OK": function() {$(this).dialog('close');}, "Cancel": function() {$(this).dialog('close');} }, open: function(event, ui) { $grid.setGridHeight($(this).height()-54); // No idea why 54 is the magic number here $grid.setGridWidth($(this).width(), true); }, close: function(event, ui) { }, resizeStop: function(event, ui) { $grid.setGridWidth($locDialog.width(), true); $grid.setGridHeight($locDialog.height()-54); } }); I am curious if anyone has seen this before. Really, it isn't the end of the world if I initially have unnecessary scrollbars at first, but it is just odd that when I call setGridWidth initially, it doesn't take into account the scroll area of 18px. As far as the magical number 54, that is the number I had to subtract from the height of the dialog value to get the grid to render without unnecessary scrollbars.

• Update text in StatusBar in wpf using C#

  hello, I have a TextBox in StatusBar in wpf which i want to update. I have a list of files in ListBox. On each file I would be doing some operation by calling say method ProcessFile(). So whenever the file processing is completed I want to show that file's name in the StatusBar text. • How do I filter out NaN FLOAT values in Teradata SQL?

  With the Teradata database, it is possible to load values of NaN, -Inf, and +Inf into FLOAT columns through Java. Unfortunately, once those values get into the tables, they make life difficult when writing SQL that needs to filter them out. There is no IsNaN() function, nor can you "CAST ('NaN' as FLOAT)" and use an equality comparison. What I would like to do is, SELECT SUM(VAL**2) FROM DTM WHERE NOT ABS(VAL) > 1e+21 AND NOT VAL = CAST ('NaN' AS FLOAT) but that fails with error 2620, "The format or data contains a bad character.", specifically on the CAST. I've tried simply "... AND NOT VAL = 'NaN'", which also fails for a similar reason (3535, "A character string failed conversion to a numeric value."). I cannot seem to figure out how to represent NaN within the SQL statement. Even if I could represent NaN successfully in an SQL statement, I would be concerned that the comparison would fail. According to the IEEE 754 spec, NaN = NaN should evaluate to false. What I really seem to need is an IsNaN() function. Yet that function does not seem to exist.

But I can't figure out how I can configure it so that when a session expires that the request is not redirect to an other page (expired-url) or displays a 'session expires' message. What I need is a function to perform if the opposite. If I have the XmlEnumAttribute Name value "00", I need a function to return a Currency enum with a value of 1. Just as useful would be a function that would return the enum name "CDN". I could then simply parse this to get the enum value. Any assistance would be appreciated.

• MSBuild: building website using AspNetCompiler - adding references?

  Hi, I'm attempting to build a ASP.NET website using MSBuild - specifically the AspNetCompiler tag. I know that, for my project, I need to add some references. Within Visual Studio I have several references, one is a project reference and the others are some DLLS (AjaxControlToolkit etc). I'm happy not referencing the project and referencing the DLL instead - however I just can't work out how to add a reference.   I needed to build a dynamic filter and I wanted to keep using entities. Because of this reason I wanted to use the PredicateBuilder from albahari. So only the inner predicate was filled. When the predicate was executed I got the following error. The parameter 'f' was not bound in the specified LINQ to Entities query expression. While searching for an answer I found the following page. But this is already implemented in the LINQKit. Does anyone else experienced this error and know how to solve it?

• Strong Naming an assembly using command line compile

  I am trying to use NAnt in order to compile and sign an assembly using the vbc compiler. I have a project set up and am able to successfully sign the assembly compiling with VS2010. When I try to sign it using the command line I get this error: vbc : error BC30140: Error creating assembly manifest: Error signing assembly -- The parameter is incorrect. What is the correct way to do this with vbc? --EDIT: I have found that MSBuild also does not like having the AssemblyKeyFile attribute as I have defined it in the AssemblyInfo.vb, it gives the same failure message. So the only way I can currently get this to build correctly is to set properties on the project to tell it which key file to use and to sign the assembly.

• How to do server-side validation using Jqgrid?

  Hi, I'm using jqgrid to display a list of sites and I want to do some server side validation when a site is added or edited. (Form editing rather than inline. Validation needs to be server side for various reasons I won't go into.) I thought the best way would be to check the data via an ajax request when the beforeSubmit event is triggered. However this only seems to work when I'm editing an existing row in the grid - the function isn't called when I add a new row. Have I got my beforeSubmit in the wrong place? But I installed it (version 2.0.5)! phpinfo() says I installed it, also var_dump(extension_loaded('xdebug')) I get true. I installed it as Zend Extension and I tried also as normal extension. Bot worked, but PHPUnit says everytime Xdebug is not loaded!

• Using SSIS Web Service Task with WCF

  Hello, I am using SQL Server 2008 SSIS for importing data to the DB and .Net 3.5 SP1 for Creating the WCF service. In the import task I am trying to use the Web Service Task to report to a WCF service. At first I encountered a problem with the WCF WSDL, the Web Service task couldn't get their code generated from the metadata exposed by the WCF service. So I found a blog post at Christian Weyer's Blog talking just about that. Now after I can successfully load a WCF service to the Web Service Task and get the functions generated just fine from the WSDL I encountered another problem. I get an error from the SSIS package at runtime saying that "Method 'ProxyNamespace.MyService.GetData' not found." The full Error is: Error: 0xC002F304 at Web Service Task False, Web Service Task: An error occurred with the following error message: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not execute the Web method. The error is: Method 'ProxyNamespace.MyService.GetData' not found.. at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebMethodInvokerProxy.InvokeMethod(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection) at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTaskUtil.Invoke(DTSWebMethodInfo methodInfo, String serviceName, Object connection, VariableDispenser taskVariableDispenser) at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTask.executeThread()". Selecting date from dropdown panel works. Also, Tab does not keep value (reset to previous one), but with help of this I can fix it. But I don't know how to make Enter to accept value and preferably move to next cell. I also tried third-party date picker, no changes - same issues with Tab and Enter. Seems like a DataGrid issue. I use Silverlight 3.
