  • What does explorer use to open a file?

    I'm attempting to hook into whatever explorer calls when a file is opened (double-click, context menu open, etc.), however I can't figure out which function that is. Originally, I thought it was ShellExecute, as that does the same thing as far as I can tell, but after hooking into it I learned that it's only used when a new explorer window is opened. Any ideas which function I should be hooking?

  • C++: Chr() and unichr() equivalent?

    I could have sworn I used a chr() function 40 minutes ago but can't find the file. I know it can go up to 256 so I use this: std::string chars = ""; chars += (char) 42; //etc So that's alright, but I really want to access unicode characters. Can I do (w_char) 512? Or maybe something just like the unichr() function in python, I just can't find a way to access any of those characters.

    Hi i am fairly new to objective c and have been doing some iphone programming. Is it possible to look up the value of a variable in a different class? Basically what i am doing is running a function that exists in my app delegate from a view controller, but the app delegate needs to use a variable stored in the view controller from which the app delegate function was called.     I have the following: function Preferences() { } Preferences.players = { 'player1': new Player() } players is a static member variable of Preferences and I'm trying to make it an object containing an instance of a Player. However, it doesn't appear to let me do this. It seems like it will allow me to define players if I make it a non-static member variable however. Like so: function Preferences() { var players = { 'player1' : new Player() } } Is it possible to create a static member variable containing instances of an object in JS?

    I'm working on a simple framework, and I'm having a slight problem. I'd like to use call_user_function_array() to pass parameters to a function. That's fine, except the function I want to pass it to is __construct. I can't create an instance of an object with cufa(), and by instantiating an object, and then using cufa to call that instance's __construct(), I run into problems with a broken class because I'm calling the constructor twice (and one time it's called wrong.)
