    Hi At the moment i get file extension of the file like : string fileExt = System.IO.Path.GetExtension(filUpload.FileName); But if the user change the file extension of the file ( for example user could rename "test.txt" to "text.jpg" ), I can't get the real extension . What's the solution ?

    I'm sending a byte array to a piece of hardware. The first 7 bytes contain data and the 8th byte is a checksum. The 8th byte is the Least Significant Byte of the sum of the first 7 bytes. Examples that include the correct checksum. The last byte of each of these is the checksum 200-30-7-5-1-2-0-245 42-0-0-1-176-0-148-39 42-0-0-3-177-0-201-118 How do I calculate the checksum?     Hi, I needed to include in my project but there is a line, in glut.h which is #pragma message("Note: including lib: glut32.lib\n") It is really annoying and I want to get rid of it when compiling. I could just remove the line in my glut.h but I want my fix to be independent of the glut.h. I have tried setting #pragma warnings to show only critical info, and I have also tried #pragma message disable but nothing worked. Any help?

    Hey guys. I've set up MacVim to work with netrw for remote editing (yaaay!), but whenever I save a file, I get the following error: :!scp -q '/var/folders/PN/PNhWJAr5GGC0WfeLdFgWV++++TU/-Tmp-/v771493/0' 'remot_host:path/remote_file.css' Press ENTER or type command to continue Hitting ENTER removes it and I can edit again. I don't know what it is and it's annoying, but perhaps not broken. Tips?

    My application works just fine until, in some unidentified conditions, it begins throwing this errors: When these errors start appearing, they appear in all over the application, no matter the code is built using ObjectDataSource or SqlDataSource. However, apparently, if the code uses some "classic", code-behind data-binding, that code does not throw errors (they do not show in the application event log), the page is displayed but it does not contain any data.... I have tried many different variations of the following with no luck.     i'm trying to install the adobe air sdk in linux. i unzip the package downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/air/tools/sdk/ into a folder "AdobeAIRSDK", and add the /bin folder into the PATH environment variable. but when i tried to run the adl, it gives me the following error: Error loading the runtime (/home/monuser/AdobeAIRSDK/bin/../runtimes/air/linux/Adobe AIR/Versions/1.0/Resources/nss3/None/libnss3.so: file too short) what's the problem here and how do i get it fixed?

But it breaks whenever there are 2731 rows or more: OpenCV Error: One of arguments' values is out of range (requested size is negative or too big) in cvMemStorageAlloc, file [omitted]/opencv/OpenCV-2.2.0/modules/core/src/datastructs.cpp, line 332 With fewer rows, it seems to be fine and a classifier trained in a similar manner to the above seems to be giving reasonable output. Am I doing something wrong? I'm pretty sure it's not actually anything to do with lack of memory, as I've got 6GB and also the code works fine when the data has 2730 rows and 10000 columns, which is a much bigger allocation. I'm running OpenCV 2.2 on OSX 10.6 and initially I thought the problem might be related to this bug if for some reason the fix wasn't included in the MacPorts version. Now I've also tried downloading the most recent stable version from the OpenCV site and building with cmake and using that, but I still get the same error, and the fix is definitely included in that version.
