  • App Engine Datastore access

    Is it possible to query App Engine's Datastore from outside the cloud, i.e. a client application? I could possibly write an app to be housed within AppStore and query the Datastore returning XML-formatted data; I want to know, however, if there are any Datastore endpoints which would allow me to do it directly. Also, in case it is possible, am I able to do so via SSL?

    I have this error everywhere on eah method whereas xml comment has a summary. This has been discussed here in 2007 http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/devdocs/thread/1d0c4259-a1ec-44e7-8e37-ec936dfde854 the author said it would be solved but I downloaded the package a few days ago to try it and still get this error. Anybody uses Sandcastle Help File Builder ?

  • Arbitrary Form Processing with Drupal

    I am writing a module for my organization to cache XML feeds to static files to an arbitrary place on our webserver. I am new at Drupal development, and would like to know if I am approaching this the right way. Basically I: Expose a url via the menu hook, where a user can enter in a an output directory on the webserver and press the "dump" button and then have PHP go to drupal and get the feed xml. I don't need help with that functionality, because I actually have a prototype working in Python (outside of Drupal).. Provide a callback for the form where I can do my logic, using the form parameters.   • can we include maven pmd plugin execution within build goal ?

    Guys, I wanted generate the pmd report while building the project so I have added plugin to build section of my pom.xml but still it don't execute until I explicitly call mvn clean install pmd:pmd.   • programmatically updating iTunes track location

    I would like to modify the filesystem path for tracks on itunes programmatically, so that I can apply a string transformation to some of the tracks locations (which are now stored in a different places on the filesystem). I've tried using AppleScript to update the location property of the relevant tracks but I get an end-of-file error when calling "set mytrack's location to ..." I've seen various other hacks online that involve exporting the entire track db, modifying it in XML, and then reimporting it - but that seems to lose too much metadata (such as playlists).

  • Gaining access to jndi environment variables within a Tomcat LifecycleListener

    I'm using a LifecycleListener in tomcat to initialize some objects required by contexts in my web server. Within LifecycleListener I would like to have access to GlobalNamingResources Environment variables to keep the configuration for the server inside the server.xml file. When trying various approaches I get the following error: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name java:comp is not bound in this Context I'm assuming that the jndi is not initialized by this stage of the server startup process. Any ideas on how to tackle this?

  • Uploading file to DropBox causing UnlinkedException

    I am currently working on android project and trying to enable DropBox functionality. I've selected the access type to App Only, and I can successfully authenticate and it creates an Apps directory and inside that creates a directory with the name of my app. When I then try to put a file in the DropBox directory it goes into the DropBoxException catch and in the logcat prints com.dropbox.client2.exception.DropboxUnlinkedException. I've done a google and from what I've seen this happens if the apps directory has been deleted and so authentication is required to be re-done, but this isn't the case, I have deleted it and I am putting the file straight after doing the authentication. Below is the code that retrieves the keys and stores the file on dropbox.     jQuery 1.7.2 jQuery Validate 1.1.0 jQuery Form 3.18 Wordpress 3.4.2 I am trying to code a contact/ mail form in above environment/ with above jQuery libs. Now I am having a problem with the jQuery Form JS: I have taken the original code from the developers page for ajaxSubmit and only altered the target option to an ID which exists in my HTML source and replaced $ with jQuery in function showRequest. The problem is, that the function namend after success: does not fire. I tried the same with error: and again nothing fired.   • Rails, Edit page update in a window

    I have my code working so that I have a table of businesses. There's a pencil icon you can click on the edit the business information. The edit information comes up in a partial inside of a modal pop up box. The only problem is that once they make the changes they want and click update, it sends them to the 'show' page for that business. What I want to happen is have the pop up box close and have it update the information. My update was still taking me to the show page. Any help would be appreciated.     I have Maven multi-module project with such structure: parent-pom-project -- module1 -- module2 At the parent-pom-project I have such pom.xml <modules> <module>module1</module> </modules> ... <profiles> <profile> <id>local</id> <properties> <prop>local_prop</prop> </properties> </profile> <profile> <id>test</id> <modules> <module>module2</module> </modules> <properties> <prop>test_prop</prop> </properties> </profile> </profiles> At all pom.xml files I have such tag: <build> <resources> <resource> <directory>src/main/resources</directory> <filtering>true</filtering> </resource> <resource> <directory>src/test/resources</directory> <filtering>true</filtering> </resource> </resources> </build> At module1 and module2 in resource directory I have properties files with such text: prop=${prop} The problem is that after mvn clean install or mvn clean install -Ptest or even mvn clean install -P test I get prop=local_prop If I user test profile for build module2 is also builded, but properties are used from local profile. I use Maven 3.0.3. Anybody have any ideas?

  • Reflect and Load code at design time in Visual Studio

    I have an XML file that lists a series of items, and the items are often referenced by their name in code. Is there any way to use reflection within Visual Studio to make this list 'accessible' sort of like intellisence? I've seen it done before - and I'm pretty sure it's ridiculously difficult, but I figure it can't hurt to at least ask.
