Visual Studio 10 crashed when tried to open one of solutions

Visual Studio 10 crashed when I tried to open one of my solutions. GoldenGate 12c Trail Encryption and Credentials with Oracle Wallet

I have been asked more than once whether the Oracle Wallet supports GoldenGate trail encryption. Although GoldenGate has supported encryption with the ENCKEYS file for years, Oracle GoldenGate 12c now also supports encryption using the Oracle Wallet. This helps improve security and makes it easier to administer. Two types of wallets can be configured in Oracle GoldenGate 12c: The wallet that holds the master keys, used with trail or TCP/IP encryption and decryption, stored in the new 12c dirwlt/cwallet.sso file. The wallet that holds the Oracle Database user IDs and passwords stored in the ‘credential store’ stored in the new 12c dircrd/cwallet.sso file. A wallet can be created using a ‘create wallet’ command. Adding a master key to an existing wallet is easy using ‘open wallet’ and ‘add masterkey’ commands. GGSCI (EDLVC3R27P0) 42> open wallet Opened wallet at location 'dirwlt'. GGSCI (EDLVC3R27P0) 43> add masterkey Master key 'OGG_DEFAULT_MASTERKEY' added to wallet at location 'dirwlt'. Existing GUI Wallet utilities that come with other products such as the Oracle Database “Oracle Wallet Manager” do not work on this version of the wallet. The default Oracle Wallet can be changed. Not able to add PC and synchronise files with Ubuntu One

I have tried to add my PC to my Ubuntu One account 3 or 4 times: while I log in successfully in the Ubuntu One interface (after deleting my Ubuntu One password in 'passwords'), my folders don't give me an option to synchronise. I don't get the pink bar saying 'these folders cannot be synchronised'; I get nothing at all, no option. The second time I tried it seemed to work – but then it stopped working again.

Isometric screen to 3D world coordinates efficiently

Been having a difficult time transforming 2D screen coordinates to 3D isometric space. This is the situation where I am working in 3D but I have an orthographic camera. Then my camera is positioned at (100, 200, 100), Where the xz plane is flat and y is up and down. I've been able to get a sort of working solution, but I feel like there must be a better way. Here's what I'm doing: With my camera at (0, 1, 0) I can translate my screen coordinates directly to 3D coordinates by doing: mouse2D.z = (( event.clientX / window.innerWidth ) * 2 - 1) * -(window.innerWidth /2); mouse2D.x = (( event.clientY / window.innerHeight) * 2 + 1) * -(window.innerHeight); mouse2D.y = 0; Everything okay so far. Now when I change my camera back to (100, 200, 100) my 3D space has been rotated 45 degrees around the y axis and then rotated about 54 degrees around a vector Q that runs along the xz plane at a 45 degree angle between the positive z axis and the negative x axis. So what I do to find the point is first rotate my point by 45 degrees using a matrix around the y axis. Now I'm close. So then I rotate my point around the vector Q. But my point is closer to the origin than it should be, since the Y value is not 0 anymore. What I want is that after the rotation my Y value is 0. So now I exchange my X and Z coordinates of my rotated vector with the X and Z coordinates of my non-rotated vector. So basically I have my old vector but it's y value is at an appropriate rotated amount. Now I use another matrix to rotate my point around the vector Q in the opposite direction, and I end up with the point where I clicked. Is there a better way? I feel like I must be missing something. Also my method isn't completely accurate. I feel like it's within 5-10 coordinates of where I click, maybe because of rounding from many calculations. Sorry for such a long question.

Why does my MySQL remote-connection fail (VLAN)?

ubuntu-community! Again I have a problem with my special friend MySQL :D I have got two servers - a database-server and a web-server - who are connected via VLAN. Now I want the web-server to have remote access to the database-server's MySQL. So I created the user user in mysql.user. user's Host is xxx.yyy.zzz.9 which is the internal IP-address of the web-server. xxx.yyy.zzz.0 is the network. I also created user with Host % . As long as I use MySQL on the database-server logging in as user, everything works fine. But trying to log in as user from xxx.yyy.zzz.9 using mysql -h xxx.yyy.zzz.8 -u user -p (where xxx.yyy.zzz.8 is the database-server's internal IP), I get ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'xxx.yyy.zzz.8' (110) So I tried to activate Bind-Address in the my.cnf file. Well, if I use xxx.yyy.zzz.8, nothing changes. But if I try xxx.yyy.zzz.9 and try to restart MySQL, I get mysql stop/waiting start: Job failed to start I checked the log files and found - nothing. The database-server's MySQL doesn't even register, that the web-server tries to connect remotely. My idea is, that maybe I didn't configure the VLAN properley, even though I asked someone who actually knows such stuff and he told me, I did everything right. For example #!/bin/bash echo "start spotify" gnome-terminal -e spotify --title spotify When I run this command, one gnome-terminal shows up and spotify show up. I also want the gnome-terminal to popup "hidden" in a different virtual desktop. (one of the other four virtual desktops you can choose from taskbar) I tried to add this to /home/me/.bash_login or something, but that didn't work..

Windows 8: Everything from design, build, and how to sell a Metro style app

For me, there are a lot of similarities between an application developed for Windows Phone and a Metro style app developed for Windows 8. A Windows Phone 7 application (rather than an XNA game) is built in .NET and XAML against a subset of the .NET framework and the application has a lifecycle which needs to be conscious of battery life and so is split out into foreground/background pieces. The application is sandboxed in terms of its interactions with the local device and is packaged with a manifest which describes those interactions. The app needs to be aware of network connectivity status and its work on the network is done asynchronously to preserve the user experience.The app is packaged and deployed to a Marketplace which the user browses to find the app, read reviews, perhaps purchase it and then install it and receive updates over time. Quite a lot of those statements are as true of a Windows 8 Metro style app as they are for a Windows Phone app and so a Windows Phone app developer already has a good head start when it comes to building Metro style apps for Windows 8. With that in mind, there is an event to help developers with a Windows Phone app in Marketplace to begin the process of looking at Windows 8 and whether you can get a quick win by bringing your Phone application onto Windows. The idea of the event was to provide a space where developers can get together over 2 days and take the time out to look at what it means to take their app from Windows Phone to Windows 8. Kicking off on Saturday 16th June at 10am, we are told they have plenty of power sockets, WiFi, whiteboards, drinks, pizza, games, prizes and some quiet space that you can work in. Including people on hand with Windows Phone and Windows 8 experience to help everything along the way. There will be an attendee-voted schedule of talks but we’ll keep these out of your way if you just want to get on and code. Apache2 "pseudo" doc root

I have several folders in my /www folder that contain various applications. To keep things organized, I keep them in their own folders -- this includes my base application. Examples: phpmyadmin = /www/phpmyadmin phpvirtualbox = /www/phpvirtualbox root domain site = /www/Landing The reason I segregate all of my sites is that I actively develop on some of these (my root site) and when I publish via Visual Studio, I choose to delete prior to upload - if I put the Landing page in the base folder, it would be devastating for me. My goal is that when I go to www.example.com - I go to my page. At the SQL Relay event last week all the UK user group leaders did a combined session - The A to Z of SQL - where we all took two letters of the alphabet and gave a 2 minute (it was strictly timed) talk on something SQL related beginning with those letters. It was quite a riot working through 26 different talks in an hour with 25 speaker handovers and the associated switches between SSMS and the slide deck.
