  • Socket operation on non-socket

    I'm running mysql5 on Mac os x 10.5.8 and got this error. How do I solve this? The DB worked fine but stopped working after system update. I think its something related to the socket file which is /tmp/mysql.sock do I need to give it special permissions and owner? Thanks

    I have moved my Opencart website to a new host, and I receive the error: Notice: Error: Could not load language total/sub_total! in .../vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_language.php on line 41 How do I resolve this? I have tried renaming vqmod/xml to vqmod/xml.bad, with no result. I have tried renaming /vqmod/vqcache to /vqmod/vqcache.bad, with no result. Update: In \system\library\language.php, I commented out an else branch which resulted in an application exit.

Before the PHP Version update I used to be able to include files as following without specifying the document root: <?php include '/absolute/path/to/files/file1.php'; ?> However I now have to include the same file as following: <?php include $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/absolute/path/to/files/file1.php'; ?> What php.ini setting could have overridden the former behaviour?

Because waiting for all queries to complete is too long I would like to update the web page after every query completes - send result of one query to a web browser, new result should be appended to old results that are already on the web page.     Hi, I'm looking at market stats here for sdk distribution: http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html saying that 31% of marketplace users are still running 1.5. Is it true that an OS update went out for G1 and myTouch users? I'm wondering why so many people are still running 1.5 if so? Just curious because I'd like to use th setView() method introduced in 1.6 for TabSpec, but not if so many people are still using 1.5, I might have to roll my own control, Thanks

    I am building an iphone app and would like to keep track of how many times it has been opened so that I can prompt the user to do certain actions after it has been opened X number of times. I have thought about storing a variable in Core Data which I update every time it is opened, but this seems like a waste since it is a singleton data, not multiple instances of an object. What is the best way to store data like this and access it without slowing down the app opening time?

  • Looking for some help working with premultiplied alpha

    I am trying to update a source image with the contents of multiple destination images. From what I can tell using premultiplied alpha is the way to go with this, but I think I am doing something wrong (function below). the image I am starting with is initialized with all ARGB values set to 0. When I run the function once the resulting image looks great, but when I start compositing on any others all the pixels that have alpha information get really messed up.
