  • Filtering a dropdown in Angular IE11 issue

    - by Brian S.
I have a requirement for a select html element that can be duplicated multiple times on a page. The options for these select elements all come from a master list. All of the select elements can only show all of the items in the master list that have not been selected in any of the other select elements unless they just were duplicated. So I wrote a custom filter to do this in Angular and it seems to work just fine provided you are not using IE11. In IE when you select a new item from a duplicated select element, it seems to select the option after the one you selected even though the model still has the correct one set. I realize this sounds convoluted, so I created a jFiddle example. Using IE 11 try these steps: Select Bender Click the duplicate link Select Fry Notice that the one that is selected is Leela but the model still has Fry (id:2) as the one selected Now if you do the same thing in Chrome everything works as expected. Can anyone tell me how I might get around this or what I might be doing wrong? Here is the relevant Angular code: myapp.controller('Ctrl', function ($scope) { $scope.selectedIds = [{}]; $scope.allIds = [{ name: 'Bender', value: 1}, {name: 'Fry', value: 2}, {name: 'Leela', value: 3 }]; $scope.dupDropDown = function(currentDD) { var newDD = angular.copy(currentDD); $scope.selectedIds.push(newDD); } }); angular.module('appFilters',[]).filter('ddlFilter', function () { return function (allIds, currentItem, selectedIds) { //console.log(currentItem); var listToReturn = allIds.filter(function (anIdFromMasterList) { if (currentItem.id == anIdFromMasterList.value) return true; var areThereAny = selectedIds.some(function (aSelectedId) { return aSelectedId.id == anIdFromMasterList.value; }); return !areThereAny; }); return listToReturn; } }); And here is the relevant HTML <div ng-repeat="aSelection in selectedIds "> <a href="#" ng-click="dupDropDown(aSelection)">Duplicate</a> <select ng-model="aSelection.id" ng-options="a.value as a.name for a in allIds | ddlFilter:aSelection:selectedIds"> <option value="">--Select--</option> </select> </div>

  • Nginx + PHP-FPM executes script, but returns 404

    - by MorfiusX
I am using Nginx + PHP-FPM to run a Wordpress based site. I have a URL that should return dynamically generated JSON data for use with the DataTables jQuery plugin. The data is returned properly, but with a return code of 404. I think this is a Nginx config issue, but I haven't been able to figure out why. The script 'getTable.php' works properly on the production version of the site which is currently using Apache. Anyone know how I can get this to work on Nginx? I've defined my DataTable as such: IColumn<Column>[] columns = new IColumn[9]; //column values are mapped to the private attributes listed in ColumnImpl.java columns[0] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("#"), "columnPosition", "columnPosition"); columns[1] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("Description"), "description"); columns[2] = new PropertyColumn(new Model("Type"), "dataType", "dataType"); Adding it to the table: DataTable<Column> dataTable = new DataTable<Column>("columnsTable", columns, provider, maxRowsPerPage) { @Override protected Item<Column> newRowItem(String id, int index, IModel<Column> model) { return new OddEvenItem<Column>(id, index, model); } }; My data provider: public class ColumnSortableDataProvider extends SortableDataProvider<Column> { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; private List list = null; public ColumnSortableDataProvider(Table table, String sortProperty) { this.list = Arrays.asList(table.getColumns().toArray(new Column[0])); setSort(sortProperty, true); } public ColumnSortableDataProvider(List list, String sortProperty) { this.list = list; setSort(sortProperty, true); } @Override public Iterator iterator(int first, int count) { /* first - first row of data count - minimum number of elements to retrieve So this method returns an iterator capable of iterating over {first, first+count} items */ Iterator iterator = null; try { if(getSort() != null) { Collections.sort(list, new Comparator() { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; @Override public int compare(Column c1, Column c2) { int result=1; PropertyModel<Comparable> model1= new PropertyModel<Comparable>(c1, getSort().getProperty()); PropertyModel<Comparable> model2= new PropertyModel<Comparable>(c2, getSort().getProperty()); if(model1.getObject() == null && model2.getObject() == null) result = 0; else if(model1.getObject() == null) result = 1; else if(model2.getObject() == null) result = -1; else result = ((Comparable)model1.getObject()).compareTo(model2.getObject()); result = getSort().isAscending() ? result : -result; return result; } }); } if (list.size() (first+count)) iterator = list.subList(first, first+count).iterator(); else iterator = list.iterator(); } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return iterator; } The problem is the following: - I click a column header to sort by that column. - I navigate to a different page - I click Back (or Forward if I do the opposite scenario) - Page has expired. It'd be nice to generate the page using PageParameters but I somehow need to intercept the sort event to do so. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton!! David

  • flickr phpflickr api

    - by sea_1987
Overview I am trying to get a photo feed on to my site using Flickr's api and the phpflickr library. I can successfully get the photoset on to my site, but it shows all the photos from every photoset, what I was hoping to achieve was to show the primary photo from each photoset, and then if the user clicked on the image it would show the full photoset in a lightbox/shadowbox. My Code <div id="images" class="tabnav"> <ul class="items"> <?php $count = 1; ?> <?php foreach ($photosets['photoset'] as $ph_set): ?> <?php $parentID = $ph_set['parent']; ?> <?php $photoset_id = $ph_set['id']; $photos = $f->photosets_getPhotos($photoset_id); foreach ($photos['photoset']['photo'] as $photo): ?> <li> <a rel="shadowbox['<?=$count;?>']" href="<?= $f->buildPhotoURL($photo, 'medium') ?>" title="<?= $photo['title'] ?>"> <img src="<?= $f->buildPhotoURL($photo, 'rectangle') ?>" alt="<?= $photo['title'] ?>" width="210" height="160" title="<?= $photo['title'] ?>" /> <h3><?=$ph_set['title']?></h3> <p><?=$ph_set['description'];?></p> </a> </li> <?php endforeach; ?> <?php $count++; ?> <?php endforeach; ?> </ul> </div> Another Attempt I have also tried calling the getPhotos function differently, instead of sending it without any parameters I sent it with parameters $photos = $f->photosets_getPhotos($photoset_id, NULL, NULL, 1, NULL); The above code stopped the showing all the photos from each photoset and started showing just the primary image, but it also stopped making the rest of the photos accesible to me. Is there something I can do to make this work? I am totally out iof ideas. Regards and thanks

  • CSS Background-Images Loading after HTML Images (Involves Javascript)

    - by Kevin C.
I threw together a quick little microsite that you can see at http://monterraauction.com. If you don't have a super-fast connection (and nothing's cached), the very last items to load are the background-images that are used for CSS image-text replacement (primarily, that h1#head at the top, with a 7kb background image). Nothing debilitating, but it looks slightly awkward. And I'm asking this question as a matter of curiosity more than anything else ;) Also, please note that this occurs in Firefox, but not Chrome. Now, underneath the h1#head I have a jquery.cycle.lite-powered slideshow in div#photo. In the HTML markup there are a total of 13, heavy image files that make up each of the slides. If I remove all but the first slide, then the problem goes away! So the CSS background-images are loading after...those HTML images are done? But here's what's confusing: I check it out in YSlow...the CSS background-images have a much lower response time than all of the slides in #photo. Right after all the JS files finish loading, in fact. So why aren't they showing up first? I tried $('#photo img:last-child').load(function() { alert('Locked and Loaded!')});, but the background-images pop up a while before the alert does, so I'm assuming it's not waiting until the last slide has loaded (admittedly I'm a bit of JS noob so maybe I'm just making a wrong assumption). I also tried commenting out all the jquery.cycle.lite stuff, so that I knew I didn't have any JS manipulating the DOM elements in #photo, but that wasn't the problem. I tried putting all the JS at the bottom of the document, right before </body>, but that didn't work. Lastly, I tried turning off javascript, and of course the css background-image loads way before the images in #photo, so it's definitely a JS thing (amirite?) I guess the obvious solution here is to mark the slides up as LINKS rather than IMGs, and have Javascript insert those 12 extra slideshow images after the DOM is ready--users without javascript shouldn't need to download the extra images anyways. But again, I'm curious: Why does removing the extra HTML images from within #photo solve the problem? And why are the CSS background-images showing up after the HTML images have loaded, even though YSlow says the css background-images loaded first? Seeing as how it happens in FF but not Chrome, is it simply a browser issue? I appreciate any insight you guys could give me!

  • Simple Observation in Django: How Can I Correctly Modify The `attrs` sent to __new__ of a Django Mod

    - by DGGenuine
Hello, I'm a strong proponent of the observer pattern, and this is what I'd like to be able to do in my Django models.py: class AModel(Model): __metaclass__ = SomethingMagical @post_save(AnotherModel) @classmethod def observe_another_model_saved(klass, sender, instance, created, **kwargs): pass @pre_init('YetAnotherModel') @classmethod def observe_yet_another_model_initializing(klass, sender, *args, **kwargs): pass @post_delete('DifferentApp.SomeModel') @classmethod def observe_some_model_deleted(klass, sender, **kwargs): pass This would connect a signal with sender = the decorator's argument and receiver = the decorated method. Right now my signal connection code all exists in __init__.py which is okay, but a little unmaintainable. I want this code all in one place, the models.py file. Thanks to helpful feedback from the community I'm very close (I think.) (I'm using a metaclass solution instead of the class decorator solution in the previous question/answer because you can't set attributes on classmethods, which I need.) I am having a strange error I don't understand. At the end of my post are the contents of a models.py that you can pop into a fresh project/application to see the error. Set your database to sqlite and add the application to installed apps. This is the error: Validating models... Unhandled exception in thread started by Traceback (most recent call last): File "/Library/Python/2.6/site-packages//lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/management/commands/runserver.py", line 48, in inner_run File "/Library/Python/2.6/site-packages/django/core/management/base.py", line 253, in validate raise CommandError("One or more models did not validate:\n%s" % error_text) django.core.management.base.CommandError: One or more models did not validate: local.myothermodel: 'my_model' has a relation with model MyModel, which has either not been installed or is abstract. I've indicated a few different things you can comment in/out to fix the error. First, if you don't modify the attrs sent to the metaclass's __new__, then the error does not arise. (Note even if you copy the dictionary element by element into a new dictionary, it still fails; only using the exact attrs dictionary works.) Second, if you reference the first model by class rather than by string, the error also doesn't arise regardless of what you do in __new__. I appreciate your help. I'll be githubbing the solution if and when it works. Maybe other people would enjoy a simplified way to use Django signals to observe application happenings. #models.py from django.db import models from django.db.models.base import ModelBase from django.db.models import signals import pdb class UnconnectedMethodWrapper(object): sender = None method = None signal = None def __init__(self, signal, sender, method): self.signal = signal self.sender = sender self.method = method def post_save(sender): return _make_decorator(signals.post_save, sender) def _make_decorator(signal, sender): def decorator(view): return UnconnectedMethodWrapper(signal, sender, view) return decorator class ConnectableModel(ModelBase): """ A meta class for any class that will have static or class methods that need to be connected to signals. • Filtering a collection based on filtering rules

    - by Mike
I have an observable collection of Entities, with each entity having a status added, deleted, modified and cancelled. I have four buttons (toggle) when clicked should filter my collection as below: If I select the button Added, then my collection should contain entities with status added. If I select the button Deleted and Added, then my collection should contain entities with status Deleted AND entities with status Added, none of the rest. If I select the button Deleted,Added and Modified, then my collection should contain entities with status Deleted, Added AND Modified. . . so on. If I unselect one of the buttons, it should remove those entities from the collection with that status. For example if I unselect Deleted, but select Added and Modified, then my collection should contain items with Added and Modified status and NOT Deleted ones. For implementing this I have created a master collection and a filtered collection. The Filter collection gets filtered based on the selections and unselections. The following is my code: private bool _clickedAdded; public bool ClickedAdded { get { return _clickedAdded; } set { _clickedAdded = value; if(!_clickedAdded) FilterAny(typeof(Added)); } } private bool _clickedDeleted; public bool ClickedDeleted { get { return _clickedDeleted; } set { _clickedDeleted = value; if (!_clickedDeleted) FilterAny(typeof(Deleted)); } } private bool _clickedModified; public bool ClickedModified { get { return _clickedModified; } set { _clickedModified = value; if (!_clickedModified) FilterAny(typeof(Modified)); } } private void FilterAny(Type status) { Func<Entity, bool> predicate = entity => entity.Status.GetType() != status; var filteredItems = MasterEntites.Where(predicate); FilteredEntities = new ObservableCollection<Entity>(filteredItems); } This however breaks the above rules - for example if I have all selected, and then I remove Added followed by deleted then it still shows the list of Added, Modified and Cancelled. It should be just Modified and Cancelled in the filtered collection. Can you please help me in solving this issue? Also do I need 2 different list to solve this. Please note that I'm using .NET 3.5.

  • More outlook VSTO help...

    - by Jerry
I posted an article here (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1095195/how-do-i-set-permissions-on-my-vsto-outlook-add-in) and I was able to build my installer. I thought that once the installer built itself, everything would work fine. I was wrong. It works on about half of the PC's I've run the installer on. My problem is that the other half doesn't work. I'm trying to install an add-in to Outlook Office 2003. I've even gone so far as to create the steps manually by using a batch file. Nothing seems to work on these PCs and I can't find a common denominator that I can rule out or in that will make the VSTO Addin work. Here is the batch file I am using. What am I doing/not-doing wrong with this? I could really use a VSTO expert's help. Thanks!!!! EDIT I've changed the batch file and registry settings to reflect recent updates to them. I've also attached the error text that comes from the PCs that don't work. @echo off echo Installing Visual Studio for Office Runtime (SE 2005)... ..\VSTO\vstor.exe echo Creating Directories... mkdir "c:\program files\Project Archiver" echo Installying Add-In... echo Copying files... xcopy /Y *.dll "c:\program files\Project Archiver" xcopy /Y *.manifest "c:\program files\Project Archiver" echo Setting Security... • List of objects sent over WCF, but null list received?

    - by GONeale
Hey there, I have an object containing a list of custom objects which I am returning over a response in WCF, however on the receiving end, the list is null? But it contains 112 objects just prior to stepping out of the service on the server. This wasn't always the case, I have seen it return a list. I've just recently upgraded it to use NET TCP bindings, but I can't confirm when I started losing the data or if it was since the conversion from wsHttpBinding to netTcpBinding as it moved along with about four other services. I have looked on the WCF Service messages and trace file and also the WCF client's messages and trace file, no exceptions reported, and both message logs indicate they are sending the List<T> and for client, receiving the list - very frustrating! It's not a super light array, but not huge either, around 100KB. it has about 12 properties each and as stated 112 items are being sent. I have tried everything I can think of on client and server, note: Client: this.binding = new NetTcpBinding(SecurityMode.None) { MaxReceivedMessageSize = int.MaxValue, ReaderQuotas = { MaxStringContentLength = int.MaxValue, MaxArrayLength = int.MaxValue } }; ... Server app.config (sorry I have no idea if the quota settings have any bearing on net tcp? I only just added it similar to what I use for wsHttpBinding to test, but still list is null): <netTcpBinding> <binding name="SecurityByNetTcpTransportBinding" sendTimeout="00:03:00" maxReceivedMessageSize="2147483647"> <readerQuotas maxStringContentLength="2147483647" maxArrayLength="2147483647" /> <security mode="None" /> </binding> </netTcpBinding> and something else I tried in my net tcp binding behavior: <dataContractSerializer maxItemsInObjectGraph="2147483647" /> <serviceTimeouts transactionTimeout="05:05:00" /> <serviceThrottling maxConcurrentSessions="400" maxConcurrentInstances="400" maxConcurrentCalls="400"/> I hope somebody can help, I hate 5 steps forward 3 steps backward which always seems to be the case with WCF :P In the interim until I [hopefully] get a response I will now try reducing this array just to see if it's a sizing issue.. Ok, It seems I have bigger problems. Because the list was the only thing I was sending, I thought it was an array issue. I am even setting an int to "25" and it's coming back as 0 - Anybody? I know I must have done something obviously stupid.

  • Loading a PyML multiclass classifier... why isn't this working?

    - by Michael Aaron Safyan
This is a followup from "Save PyML.classifiers.multi.OneAgainstRest(SVM()) object?". I am using PyML for a computer vision project (pyimgattr), and have been having trouble storing/loading a multiclass classifier. When attempting to load one of the SVMs in a composite classifier, with loadSVM, I am getting: ValueError: invalid literal for float(): rest Note that this does not happen with the first classifier that I load, only with the second. What is causing this error, and what can I do to get around this so that I can properly load the classifier? Details To better understand the trouble I'm running into, you may want to look at pyimgattr.py (currently revision 11). I am invoking the program with "./pyimgattr.py train" which trains the classifier (invokes train on line 571, which trains the classifier with trainmulticlassclassifier on line 490 and saves it with storemulticlassclassifier on line 529), and then invoking the program with "./pyimgattr.py test" which loads the classifier in order to test it with the testing dataset (invokes test on line 628, which invokes loadmulticlassclassifier on line 549). The multiclass classifier consists of several one-against-rest SVMs which are saved individually. The loadmulticlassclassifier function loads these individually by calling loadSVM() on several different files. It is in this call to loadSVM (done indirectly in loadclassifier on line 517) that I get an error. The first of the one-against-rest classifiers loads successfully, but the second one does not. A transcript is as follows: $ ./pyimgattr.py test [INFO] pyimgattr -- Loading attributes from "classifiers/attributes.lst"... • WPF ListView's GridView item expansion

    - by NT_
    Is it possible for a WPF ListView that uses a GridView view (ListView.View property) to have one of its items 'expanded' i.e. create some control underneath the item. I cannot simply add another item as it will assume the GridView item template, i.e. appear with columns rather than being a single usable area. This is how my list view currently looks like, it just has two columns: <ListView x:Name="SomeName" Style="{DynamicResource NormalListView}" > <ListView.View> <GridView ColumnHeaderContainerStyle="{DynamicResource NormalListViewHeader}"> <GridViewColumn Width="140" x:Name="Gvc_Name"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewCellSeparatorBorder}" > <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Name}" FontWeight="Bold" HorizontalAlignment="Left" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Type}" HorizontalAlignment="Left" /> </StackPanel> </Border> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderBorderContainer}"> <TextBlock Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderText}" Text="Name"/> </Border> </GridViewColumn> <GridViewColumn Width="120" x:Name="Gvc_Timestamp"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewCellSeparatorBorder}"> <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=TimestampDate}" HorizontalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=TimestampTime}" FontWeight="Bold" HorizontalAlignment="Center" /> </StackPanel> </Border> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderBorderContainer}"> <TextBlock Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderText}" Text="Processed"/> </Border> </GridViewColumn> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> Many thanks!

  • How do I prevent the concurrent execution of a javascript function?

    - by RyanV
I am making a ticker similar to the "From the AP" one at The Huffington Post, using jQuery. The ticker rotates through a ul, either by user command (clicking an arrow) or by an auto-scroll. Each list-item is display:none by default. It is revealed by the addition of a "showHeadline" class which is display:list-item. HTML for the UL Looks like this: <ul class="news" id="news"> <li class="tickerTitle showHeadline">Test Entry</li> <li class="tickerTitle">Test Entry2</li> <li class="tickerTitle">Test Entry3</li> </ul> When the user clicks the right arrow, or the auto-scroll setTimeout goes off, it runs a tickForward() function: function tickForward(){ var $active = $('#news li.showHeadline'); var $next = $active.next(); if($next.length==0) $next = $('#news li:first'); $active.stop(true, true); $active.fadeOut('slow', function() {$active.removeClass('showHeadline');}); setTimeout(function(){$next.fadeIn('slow', function(){$next.addClass('showHeadline');})}, 1000); if(isPaused == true){ } else{ startScroll() } }; This is heavily inspired by Jon Raasch's A Simple jQuery Slideshow. Basically, find what's visible, what should be visible next, make the visible thing fade and remove the class that marks it as visible, then fade in the next thing and add the class that makes it visible. Now, everything is hunky-dory if the auto-scroll is running, kicking off tickForward() once every three seconds. But if the user clicks the arrow button repeatedly, it creates two negative conditions: Rather than advance quickly through the list for just the number of clicks made, it continues scrolling at a faster-than-normal rate indefinitely. It can produce a situation where two (or more) list items are given the .showHeadline class, so there's overlap on the list. I can see these happening (especially #2) because the tickForward() function can run concurrently with itself, producing different sets of $active and $next. So I think my question is: What would be the best way to prevent concurrent execution of the tickForward() method? Some things I have tried or considered: Setting a Flag: When tickForward() runs, it sets an isRunning flag to true, and sets it back to false right before it ends. The logic for the event handler is set to only call tickForward() if isRunning is false. I tried a simple implementation of this, and isRunning never appeared to be changed. The jQuery queue(): I think it would be useful to queue up the tickForward() commands, so if you clicked it five times quickly, it would still run as commanded but wouldn't run concurrently. However, in my cursory reading on the subject, it appears that a queue has to be attached to the object its queue applies to, and since my tickForward() method affects multiple lis, I don't know where I'd attach it.

  • UnicodeEncodeError when uploading files in Django admin

    - by Samuel Linde
Note: I asked this question on StackOverflow, but I realize this might be a more proper place to ask this kind of question. I'm trying to upload a file called 'Testaråäö.txt' via the Django admin app. I'm running Django 1.3.1 with Gunicorn 0.13.4 and Nginx 0.7.6.7 on a Debian 6 server. Database is PostgreSQL 8.4.9. Other Unicode data is saved to the database with no problem, so I guess the problem must be with the filesystem somehow. I've set http { charset utf-8; } in my nginx.conf. LC_ALL and LANG is set to 'sv_SE.UTF-8'. Running 'locale' verifies this. I even tried setting LC_ALL and LANG in my nginx init script just to make sure locale is set properly. Here's the traceback: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/handlers/base.py", line 111, in get_response response = callback(request, *callback_args, **callback_kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/options.py", line 307, in wrapper return self.admin_site.admin_view(view)(*args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/utils/decorators.py", line 93, in _wrapped_view response = view_func(request, *args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/views/decorators/cache.py", line 79, in _wrapped_view_func response = view_func(request, *args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/sites.py", line 197, in inner return view(request, *args, **kwargs) File "/srv/django/letebo/app/cms/admin.py", line 81, in change_view return super(PageAdmin, self).change_view(request, obj_id) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/utils/decorators.py", line 28, in _wrapper return bound_func(*args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/utils/decorators.py", line 93, in _wrapped_view response = view_func(request, *args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/utils/decorators.py", line 24, in bound_func return func(self, *args2, **kwargs2) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/transaction.py", line 217, in inner res = func(*args, **kwargs) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/options.py", line 985, in change_view self.save_formset(request, form, formset, change=True) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/contrib/admin/options.py", line 677, in save_formset formset.save() File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/forms/models.py", line 482, in save return self.save_existing_objects(commit) + self.save_new_objects(commit) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/forms/models.py", line 613, in save_new_objects self.new_objects.append(self.save_new(form, commit=commit)) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/forms/models.py", line 717, in save_new obj.save() File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py", line 460, in save self.save_base(using=using, force_insert=force_insert, force_update=force_update) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py", line 504, in save_base self.save_base(cls=parent, origin=org, using=using) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py", line 543, in save_base for f in meta.local_fields if not isinstance(f, AutoField)] File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/fields/files.py", line 255, in pre_save file.save(file.name, file, save=False) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/fields/files.py", line 92, in save self.name = self.storage.save(name, content) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/files/storage.py", line 48, in save name = self.get_available_name(name) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/files/storage.py", line 74, in get_available_name while self.exists(name): File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/core/files/storage.py", line 218, in exists return os.path.exists(self.path(name)) File "/srv/.virtualenvs/letebo/lib/python2.6/genericpath.py", line 18, in exists st = os.stat(path) UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode characters in position 52-54: ordinal not in range(128) I tried running Gunicorn with debugging turned on, and the file uploads without any problem at all. • Dynamic Overlays slowing down Google Maps (Android 2.1) on Nexus One

    - by Soumya Simanta
    Hi, I'm trying to create a dynamic ItemizedOverylay (please see the code below) on Google Maps (Android 2.1) on a Nexus One. In my Activity (that extends MapActivity) I'm creating a data thread that is receiving data from the network. A 'handler' is used to communicate the data from the receiving thread to map activity. This data contains the locations (lat, lon) of the markers that I want to overlay on my map. The location of each marker is dynamic (i.e., it changes every time I receive new data from the network.) refreshItems(ArrayList<OverlayItem> newItems) method in invoked inside the handleMessage() of the handler. There are around 11 markers in the ArrayList that is passed to refreshItems I can see the markers overlayed on the map. However, I've two issues: The old markers are not removed from the map. After a while I see a trail of markers. The map doesn't respond to any touch commands. I cannot move the map or zoom in or zoom out. After a while I see a system warning that my app is not responding message. Any idea what's wrong here ? Thanks. public class MyItemizedOverlay extends ItemizedOverlay { private ArrayList<OverlayItem> overlayItems; public CoTItemizedOverlay(Drawable defaultMarker) { super(boundCenter(defaultMarker)); overlayItems = new ArrayList<OverlayItem>(); populate(); } public void addNewItem(GeoPoint location, String markerText, String snippet) { overlayItems.add(new OverlayItem(location, markerText, snippet)); populate(); } public void removeItem(int index) { overlayItems.remove(index); populate(); } public void refreshItems(ArrayList<OverlayItem> newItems) { // remove all existing items for (int i = 0; i < cotoverlayItems.size(); i++) { overlayItems.remove(i); } // copy all the times if (newItems != null && cotoverlayItems.size() == 0) { overlayItems.addAll(newItems); } populate(); } @Override protected OverlayItem createItem(int index) { return overlayItems.get(index); } @Override public int size() { return overlayItems.size(); } }

  • Prism Commands - binding error when binding to list element ?

    - by Maciek
I've got a ItemsControl (to be replaced by listbox) which has it's ItemsSource bound to an ObservableCollection<User> which is located in the view model. The View Model contains some DelegateCommand<T> delegates for handling commands (for instance UpdateUserCommand and RemoveUserCommand). All works fine if the buttons linked to those commands are placed outside of the DataTemplate of the control which is presenting the items. <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Users, Mode=TwoWay}" HorizontalContentAlignment="Stretch"> <ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock Grid.Column="0" Text="{Binding UserName}"/> <PasswordBox Grid.Column="1" Password="{Binding UserPass}"/> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Text="{Binding UserTypeId}"/> <Button Grid.Column="3" Content="Update" cal:Click.Command="{Binding UpdateUserCommand}" cal:Click.CommandParameter="{Binding}"/> <Button Grid.Column="4" Content="Remove" cal:Click.Command="{Binding RemoveUserCommand}" cal:Click.CommandParameter="{Binding}"/> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> </ItemsControl> What I'm trying to achieve, is : Have each row - generated by the ListView/ItemsControl - contain buttons to manage the item represented that particular row. During the runtime, the VS's output panel generated the following messages for each listbox element System.Windows.Data Error: BindingExpression path error: 'UpdateUserCommand' property not found on 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612). BindingExpression: Path='UpdateUserCommand' DataItem='ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612); target element is 'System.Windows.Controls.Button' (Name=''); target property is 'Command' (type 'System.Windows.Input.ICommand').. System.Windows.Data Error: BindingExpression path error: 'RemoveUserCommand' property not found on 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612). BindingExpression: Path='RemoveUserCommand' DataItem='ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612); target element is 'System.Windows.Controls.Button' (Name=''); target property is 'Command' (type 'System.Windows.Input.ICommand').. Which would imply that there are binding errors present. Is there any way to make this right? or is this not the way?

  • Minimum permission required to access Site Columns page and edit site columns

    - by ParanoidMike
We've started to adopt SharePoint 2010, and are starting to manually migrate content from SharePoint 2007 sites to new sites we're rebuilding from scratch in SP2010. One of the things we previously had supported was to delegate responsibility for managing some of our site columns to a member of the team. The team member is not familiar with SharePoint internals, and doesn't want the responsibility of full permissions to the site and all its objects. We're now trying to figure out what the minimum permission is that we need to grant our team member, so they can continue to edit (& propagate) the content of the site columns we've defined. Permissions he currently has (which are obviously insufficient): Site permissions (according to _layouts/user.aspx): Read, Contribute, Manage Lists Permissions for specific objects in the site (according to _layouts/people.aspxMembershipGroupId=xxx, then choosing Settings, View Group Permissions): server/sites/[sitename]: Contribute server/sites/[sitename]/Lists/[a list with columns that inherit from site columns]: "Contribute No Delete" Note: the "Contribute No Delete" permission is a custom permission I designed by copying the SharePoint-native "Contribute" permission set and deselecting the Delete permission. The "Manage Lists" permission is a custom permission I designed that includes the following specific permissions: (List Permissions) Manage Lists, View Items; (Site Permissions) View Pages, Open. Operations that are throwing access denied errors: _layouts/mngfield.aspx: SharePoint returns the "Error: Access Denied" dialog, and provides three clickable options: "Sign in as a different user", "Request access", and "Go back to site" _layouts/fldedit.aspx?field=Level%5Fx0020%5F3 [one of the site columns we've defined]: can load the page and type in changes to the textboxes "...but when I press OK (save changes) I get the same message above." When our team member clicks the "Request access" link, the email I receive sends me to a page that recommends that I grant the user membership in the "[sitename] Users" group - of which he's already a member. So while SP2010 tries to request access, it doesn't actually direct me to either (a) a valid group that has the correct permissions or (b) the specific object to which I need to grant our team member access. Also note: on the SP2007 (MOSS) site (where our team member was successful in managing Site Column edits), they had dozens of additional permissions throughout the site that we do not wish to blindly re-allocate in SP2010 until we know they're necessary. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • Accessing Python module fails although its package is imported

    - by codethief
Hey Stackers! :) My Django project's directory hierarchy looks like this: + pybsd |---+ devices |---+ templates |---+ views |---+ interaction |---- __init__.py |---- geraete.py |---- geraetemodelle.py |---- geraetegruppen.py |---- __init__.py |---- ajax.py |---- html.py |---- misc.py |---- __init__.py |---- urls.py |---- __init__.py |---- urls.py (Please excuse the German names. I preferred not to replace them here since it would add yet another possible error source when trying out the solutions you'll hopefully suggest and answering your questions.) Every request to http://URL/devices/.* is dispatched to the urls.py file living in /devices: # ... from views import html, ajax, misc, interaction urlpatterns = patterns('', # ... (r'^ajax/update/(?P<table>[a-z_]+)$', ajax.update), (r'^ajax/delete/(?P<table>[a-z_]+)$', ajax.delete), (r'^ajax/select_options/(?P<table>[a-z_]+)$', ajax.select_options), (r'^interaction/geraete/info/(?P<geraet>\d+)$', interaction.geraete.info), (r'^interaction/geraete/delete/(?P<geraet>\d+)?$', interaction.geraete.delete), (r'^interaction/geraetemodelle/delete/(?P<geraetemodell>\d+)?$', interaction.geraetemodelle.delete), (r'^interaction/geraetegruppen/delete/(?P<geraetegruppe>\d+)?$', interaction.geraetegruppen.delete), # ... ) All URL definitions work except for those referencing the interaction package. I'm constantly getting the following error: File "/home/simon/projekte/pybsd/../pybsd/devices/urls.py", line 33, in `<module>` (r'^interaction/geraete/info/(?P<geraet>\d+)$', interaction.geraete.info), AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'geraete' I double-checked that the __init__.py files don't contain anything. Maybe you've already found the (Python- or Django-related?) mistake I made and am apparently unable to see. If not, read on. In any case, thanks for reading this long post! Isolating the problem 1st test It works if I provide the view functions as strings: (r'^interaction/geraete/info/(?P<geraet>\d+)$', 'devices.views.interaction.geraete.info'), (r'^interaction/geraete/delete/(?P<geraet>\d+)?$', 'devices.views.interaction.geraete.delete'), (r'^interaction/geraetemodelle/delete/(?P<geraetemodell>\d+)?$', 'devices.views.interaction.geraetemodelle.delete'), (r'^interaction/geraetegruppen/delete/(?P<geraetegruppe>\d+)?$', 'devices.views.interaction.geraetegruppen.delete'), ... or add yet another line to the imports: from views.interaction import geraete, geraetemodelle, geraetegruppen Using from views.interaction import *, however, doesn't work either and results in the same error message. 2nd test I created a file test.py in /devices: from views import interaction print dir(interaction) Output: simon@bsd-simon:~/projekte/pybsd/devices$ python test.py ['__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', '__path__'] Again, no sign of the modules I created in the interaction package (geraete.py, geraetemodelle.py, geraetegruppen.py). Unlike in urls.py, trying from view.interaction import geraete, geraetegruppen, geraetemodelle in test.py results in ImportError: No module named view.interaction this time. 3rd test I started the Django shell: $ python manage.py shell >>> import devices.views.interaction.geraete >>> dir(devices.views.interaction.geraete) ['Abteilung', 'Auftrag', 'Auftragsvorlage', 'Geraet', 'Geraetegruppe', 'Geraetemodell', 'HttpResponse', 'HttpResponseBadRequest', 'HttpResponseRedirect', 'Raum', 'Standort', '__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', 'delete', 'info', 'models', 'move', 'render_to_response'] >>> $ python manage.py shell >>> from devices.views.interaction import geraete >>> dir(geraete) ['Abteilung', 'Auftrag', 'Auftragsvorlage', 'Geraet', 'Geraetegruppe', 'Geraetemodell', 'HttpResponse', 'HttpResponseBadRequest', 'HttpResponseRedirect', 'Raum', 'Standort', '__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', 'delete', 'info', 'models', 'move', 'render_to_response'] >>> $ python manage.py shell >>> import devices.views.interaction >>> devices.views.interaction.geraete Traceback (most recent call last): File "<console>", line 1, in <module> AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'geraete' >>> dir(devices.views.interaction) ['__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__', '__path__']

  • postfix 5.7.1 Relay access denied when sending mail with cron

    - by zensys
Reluctant to ask because there is so much here about 'postfix relay access denied' but I cannot find my case: I use php (Zend Framework) to send emails outside my network using the Google mail server because I could not send mail outside my server (user: web). However when I sent out an email via cron (user: root, I believe), still using ZF, using the same mail config/credentials, I get the message: '5.7.1 Relay access denied' I guess I need to know one of two things: 1. How can I use the google smtp server from cron 2. What do I need to change in my config to send mail using my own server instead of google Though the answer to 2. is the more structural solution I assume, I am quite happy with an answer to 1. as well because I think Google is better at server maintaince (security/spam) than I am. • Jquery hasClass conditional not working

    - by Wade D Ouellet
Hey, I have my site going here: http://www.treethink.com I am trying to make it so when a navigation item is clicked, it retracts the news ticker on the right and then doesn't run any of the extracting/timer functions anymore. I got it to retract but it still extracts. How I am doing it is I am adding a "noTicker" class with the nav buttons and removing it with colorbox's close button. The function runs on the page initially and if there isn't a "noTicker" class it runs the news ticker as planned. When a nav or close button is clicked it runs the function again which checks again to see if it has that class. So if it has the class it should retract (which it is so that must mean it's adding the class properly) and then not run any of the timer functions, but it still runs the timer functions for some reason. Here is my jQuery. /* Initially hide all news items */ $('#ticker1').hide(); $('#ticker2').hide(); $('#ticker3').hide(); var randomNum = Math.floor(Math.random()*3); /* Pick random number */ newsTicker(); function newsTicker() { if (!$("#ticker").hasClass("noTicker")) { $("#ticker").oneTime(2000,function(i) { /* Do the first pull out once */ $('div#ticker div:eq(' + randomNum + ')').show(); /* Select div with random number */ $("#ticker").animate({right: "0"}, {duration: 800 }); /* Pull out ticker with random div */ }); $("#ticker").oneTime(15000,function(i) { /* Do the first retract once */ $("#ticker").animate({right: "-450"}, {duration: 800}); /* Retract ticker */ $("#ticker").oneTime(1000,function(i) { /* Afterwards */ $('div#ticker div:eq(' + (randomNum) + ')').hide(); /* Hide that div */ }); }); $("#ticker").everyTime(16500,function(i) { /* Everytime timer gets to certain point */ /* Show next div */ randomNum = (randomNum+1)%3; $('div#ticker div:eq(' + (randomNum) + ')').show(); $("#ticker").animate({right: "0"}, {duration: 800}); /* Pull out right away */ $("#ticker").oneTime(15000,function(i) { /* Afterwards */ $("#ticker").animate({right: "-450"}, {duration: 800});/* Retract ticker */ }); $("#ticker").oneTime(16000,function(i) { /* Afterwards */ /* Hide all divs */ $('#ticker1').hide(); $('#ticker2').hide(); $('#ticker3').hide(); }); }); } else { $("#ticker").animate({right: "-450"}, {duration: 800}); /* Retract ticker */ $("#ticker").oneTime(1000,function(i) { /* Afterwards */ $('div#ticker div:eq(' + (randomNum) + ')').hide(); /* Hide that div */ }); } } /* when nav item is clicked re-run news ticker function but give it new class to prevent activity */ $("#nav li").click(function() { $("#ticker").addClass("noTicker"); newsTicker(); }); /* when close button is clicked re-run news ticker function but take away new class so activity can start again */ $("#cboxClose").click(function() { $("#ticker").removeClass("noTicker"); newsTicker(); }); Thanks, Wade

  • Dropdown OnSelectedIndexChanged not firing

    - by Jim
    The OnSelectedIndexChanged event is not firing for my dropdown box. All forums I have looked at told me to add the AutoPostBack="true", but that didn't change the results. HTML: <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head runat="server"> <title></title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <div> <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Current Time: " /> <br /> <asp:Label ID="lblCurrent" runat="server" Text="Label" /><br /><br /> <asp:DropDownList ID="cboSelectedLocation" runat="server" AutoPostBack="true" OnSelectedIndexChanged="cboSelectedLocation_SelectedIndexChanged" /><br /><br /> <asp:Label ID="lblSelectedTime" runat="server" Text="Label" /> </div> </form> </body> </html> Code behind: public partial class _Default : System.Web.UI.Page { string _sLocation = string.Empty; string _sCurrentLoc = string.Empty; TimeSpan _tsSelectedTime; protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { AddTimeZones(); cboSelectedLocation.Focus(); lblCurrent.Text = "Currently in " + _sCurrentLoc + Environment.NewLine + DateTime.Now; lblSelectedTime.Text = _sLocation + ":" + Environment.NewLine + DateTime.UtcNow.Add(_tsSelectedTime); } //adds all timezone displaynames to combobox //defaults combo location to seoul, South Korea //defaults current location to current location private void AddTimeZones() { foreach(TimeZoneInfo tz in System.TimeZoneInfo.GetSystemTimeZones()) { string s = tz.DisplayName; cboSelectedLocation.Items.Add(s); if (tz.StandardName == "Korea Standard Time") cboSelectedLocation.Text = s; if (tz.StandardName == System.TimeZone.CurrentTimeZone.StandardName) _sCurrentLoc = tz.StandardName; } } //changes timezone name and time depending on what is selected in the cbobox. protected void cboSelectedLocation_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { foreach (TimeZoneInfo tz in System.TimeZoneInfo.GetSystemTimeZones()) { if (cboSelectedLocation.Text == tz.DisplayName) { _sLocation = tz.StandardName; _tsSelectedTime = tz.GetUtcOffset(DateTime.UtcNow); } } } } Any advice into what to look at for a rookie asp coder? EDIT: added more code behind

  • extract data from Plist to array and dictionary

    - by Boaz
    Hi I made a plist that looks like that: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList 1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <array> <array> <dict> <key>Company</key> <string>xxx</string> <key>Title</key> <string>VP Marketing</string> <key>Name</key> <string>Alon ddfr</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Name</key> <string>Adam Ben Shushan</string> <key>Title</key> <string>CEO</string> <key>Company</key> <string>Shushan ltd.</string> </dict> </array> <array> <dict> <key>Company</key> <string>xxx</string> <key>Title</key> <string>CTO</string> <key>Name</key> <string>Boaz frf</string> </dict> </array> </array> </plist> Now I want to extract the data like that (all the 'A' for key "Name" to one section and all the 'B' "Name" to other one): NSString *plistpath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"PeopleData" ofType:@"plist"]; NSMutableArray *attendees = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:plistpath]; listOfPeople = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init];//Add items NSDictionary *indexADict = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObject:[[attendees objectAtIndex:0] objectForKey:@"Name"] forKey:@"Profiles"]; NSDictionary *indexBDict = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObject:[[attendees objectAtIndex:1] objectForKey:@"Name"] forKey:@"Profiles"]; [listOfPeople addObject:indexADict]; [listOfPeople addObject:indexBDict]; This in order to view them in sectioned tableView. I know that the problem is here: NSDictionary *indexADict = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObject:[[attendees objectAtIndex:0] objectForKey:@"Name"] forKey:@"Profiles"]; But I just can't figure how to do it right. Thanks.

  • "Wrapping" a BindingList<T> propertry with a List<T> property for serialization.

    - by Eric
I'm writing an app that allows users search and browse catalogs of widgets. My WidgetCatalog class is serialized and deserialized to and from XML files using DataContractSerializer. My app is working now but I think I can make the code a lot more efficient if I started taking advantage of data binding rather then doing everything manually. Here's a stripped down version of my current WidgetCatalog class. [DataContract(Name = "WidgetCatalog")] class WidgetCatalog { [DataContract(Name = "Name")] public string Name { get; set; } [DataContract(Name = "Widgets")] public List<Widget> Widgets { get; set; } } I had to write a lot of extra code to keep my UI in sync when widgets are added or removed from a catalog, or their internal properties change. I'm pretty inexperienced with data-binding, but I think I want a BindingList<Widget> rather than a plain old List<Widget>. Is this right? In the past when I had similar needs I found that BindingList<T> does not serialize very well. Or at least the Event Handers between the items and the list are not serialized. I was using XmlSerializer though, and DataContractSerializer may work better. So I'm thinking of doing something like the code below. [DataContract(Name = "WidgetCatalog")] class WidgetCatalog { [DataMember(Name = "Name")] public string Name { get; set; } [DataMember(Name = "Widgets")] private List<Widget> WidgetSerializationList { get { return this._widgetBindingList.ToList<Widget>(); } set { this._widgetBindingList = new BindingList<Widget>(value); } } //these do not get serialized private BindingList<Widget> _widgetBindingList; public BindingList<Widget> WidgetBindingList { get { return this._widgetBindingList; } } public WidgetCatalog() { this.WidgetSerializationList = new List<Widget>(); } } So I'm serializing a private List<Widget> property, but the GET and SET accessors of the property are reading from, and writing to theBindingList<Widget> property. Will this even work? It seems like there should be a better way to do this.
