  • Git is failing to push in puttycyg because of SSH error

    I've been using puttycyg as a Cygwin terminal for my rails development. I've set up a git repository on a project management website and now I want to push my code to it with the following command: git push origin master I'm getting the following error: error: cannot run ssh: No such file or directory fatal: unable to fork I know ssh is used for authentication but I don't know if I need to set anything up to use it.

On the time of the development of website I am able to access the database.. but after publishing the site using IIS7..i was unable to access the database..the exception occured during that time was "the connection is in the closed state".in IIS7 When I changed the application pool identity to localsystem, it worked. Data base is installed in the same machine. and server is SQL SERVER 2008 R2

    Can anyone recommend decent software that could replace a physical whiteboard, as used in Agile development? I've had a look at http://www.brightgreenprojects.com/ but ideally we'd like something we could host ourselves. We use Jira for issue tracking, and are looking at integrating GreenHopper for project management at the moment. The general feeling among users so far seems to be that GreenHopper is a little clunky. Is there a more straight-forward agile whiteboard software tool out there?

I understand that this is the existing definition of PUT - this question is about the reason(s) why it would be defined that way. i.e: What is gained by preventing partial PUTs? Why was preventing idempotent partial updates considered an acceptable loss?

    Hi, I couldn't find a clear explanation, just asking to be sure; are C data types handled same way (in terms of memory management) in Obj.C? i.e. they are created on stack, released immediately etc.? So they differ from Obj.C objects? Or may we make an analogy with C# (just an analogy not exactly) so that C types are handled as 'value types' and Obj.C objects as 'reference types'?

I have the following instruction: Import ++++ certificate (in order to allow SSL connections) – it is done in Administrative Console for the corresponding WAS profile (Security-SSL certificate and key management-Key stores and certificates-NodeDefaultTrustStore-Signer certificates). Here you can simply add the attached trkd_cert.cer (“Add” button) or get it from port (“Retrieve from port” button, host: ++++.com, port 443) But this is valid for Websphere 6.1. Do somebody know how this can be done in WebSphere 5.1?

    I'm new to unit testing, and I'm learning how to use NUnit and Moq. NUnit provides Assert syntax for testing conditions in my unit tests, while Moq provides some Verify functions. To some extent these seem to provide the same functionality. How do I know when it's more appropriate to use Assert or Verify? Maybe Assert is better for confirming state, and Verify is better for confirming behavior (Classical versus Mockist)?

    Hi Is there a simple way of tracking the change of an Mdi's children i.e. when they are created and closed, something like an event OnMdiChildListChanged (I realise this doesn't actually exist). I am also aware that I could have a method within my Mdi that handles the creation of child forms and logs the state of them or even create an Interface that defines that a child form has a "NotifyParent" method that is then called on close of the form, but i was wondering if there was any built in events that i could plumb into?     Hi I need a utility to close server socket handles open by the process, on windows. I cannot use tcpview as it does not close the server socket (ESTABLISHED state). Process explorer comes close with its handle list and "close handle" option, but it only gives the handle path (like \Device\Afd) and if application has open many such sockets I cannot tell which handle I would like to close. Any idea?
