  I have two web applications. Both of yhem use oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPool.   I tried installing trial version of sap netweaver 7.1 in windows vista in my laptop but i couldnt succeed there.. then i tried installing SAP WEB AS 6.20 now.I am able to succeed till 91% completion.After that i get some errors and the installation stops... if anybody have any experiences please share.it will be really helpful.I mentioned the complete log details below. nfo: INSTGUI.EXE Protocol version is 10.   I receive an error message when exposing an ADO.NET Data Service using an Entity Framework data model that contains an entity (called "Case") with an internal setter on a property. If I modify the setter to be public (using the entity designer), the data services works fine. I don’t need the entity "Case" exposed in the data service, so I tried to limit which entities are exposed using SetEntitySetAccessRule. This didn’t work, and service end point fails with the same error. public static void InitializeService(IDataServiceConfiguration config) { config.SetEntitySetAccessRule("User", EntitySetRights.AllRead); } The error message is reported in a browser when the .svc endpoint is called.   I have a WCF service used mainly for managing documents in a repository. I used the chunking channel sample from MS so that I could upload/download huge files. Now I implemented reliable session with the service and I am seeing some strange behaviors. Here are the timeout values I am using. this.SendTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,10,0); this.OpenTimeout = new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0); this.CloseTimeout = new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0); this.ReceiveTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,10, 0); reliableBe.InactivityTimeout = new TimeSpan(0,2,0); I have the following issues. 1. If the Service is not up & running, the clients are not get disconnected after OpenTimeout. I tried it with my test client. Scenario 1: Without Reliable Session: I get the following exception: Could not connect to net.tcp://localhost:8788/MediaManagementService/ep1. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:00.9848790. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8788 This is the correct behavior as I have given the OpenTimeout as 1 sec. Scenario 2: With ReliableSession: I get the same exception: Could not connect to net.tcp://localhost:8788/MediaManagementService/ep1. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:00.9692460. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8788. But this message comes after around 10 mintes . (I believe after SendTimeout) So here I just have enabled the reliable session and now it looks like the OpenTimeout = SendTimeout for the client. Is this desired behavior? 2: Issue while uploading huge files with ReliableSession: The general rule is that you have to set a huge value for the maxReceivedMessageSize, SendTimeout and ReceiveTimeout. But in the case of Chunking channel, the max received message size doesn't matter as the data is sent in chunks. So I set a huge value for Send and ReceiveTimeout : say 10 hours. Now the upload is going fine, but it has a side effect that, even if the Service is not up, it takes 10 hours to timeout the client connection due to the behavior mentioned in (1). Please let me know your thoughts on this behavior.

• WebClient error when using a thread in .NET

  I'm having a very weird error using the WebClient class in .NET 4. The app simply downloads some files off the internet and provides output on a textbox (the GUI is WPF). The method that does this is the following: void DownloadFiles(object files) { fileL = (List<string>) files; foreach (string url in fileL) { byte[] data; using (System.Net.WebClient k = new WebClient()) { data = k.DownloadData(url); } //Bunch of irrelevant code goes here... } } (I added the using while trying to divine [yes I'm that desperate/ignorant] a solution, the problem happens even if the webclient is declared and initialized outside the foreach loop) Now the problem appears only when I'm executing this method on a thread separate from the WPF UI main thread. If it is executed on the UI thread then it works perfectly. When a new thread is created with: Thread t = new Thread(DownloadFiles); t.Start(files); The first time the code goes into the loop it will work, but when its the second pass inside the loop, I will always receive a TargetParameterCountException. • WebClient error when using a thread in .NET 4

  I'm having a very weird error using the WebClient class in .NET 4. The app simply downloads some files off the internet and provides output on a textbox (the GUI is WPF). The method that does this is the following: void DownloadFiles(object files) { fileL = (List<string>) files; foreach (string url in fileL) { byte[] data; using (System.Net.WebClient k = new WebClient()) { data = k.DownloadData(url); } //Bunch of irrelevant code goes here... } } (I added the using while trying to divine [yes I'm that desperate/ignorant] a solution, the problem happens even if the webclient is declared and initialized outside the foreach loop) Now the problem appears only when I'm executing this method on a thread separate from the WPF UI main thread. If it is executed on the UI thread then it works perfectly. When a new thread is created with: Thread t = new Thread(DownloadFiles); t.Start(files); The first time the code goes into the loop it will work, but when its the second pass inside the loop, I will always receive a TargetParameterCountException.   I have an document/literal Axis 1 service which I'm consuming with an Axis 2 client (ADB databinding, generated from WSDL2Java). It receives a valid XML response, but in parsing that XML, I get the error "Unexpected Subelement" for any type which doesn't have a namespace defined in the response. I can resolve the error by manually changing the (auto-generated by Axis2) type-validation line to only check the type name and not the namespace as well, but is there a non-manual way to skip this? This service is consumed properly by other Axis 1 clients. Here's the response, with bits in ALL CAPS having been anonymized. Some types have namespaces, some have empty-string namespaces, and some have none at all. Can I control this via the service's WSDL, or in Axis2's WSDL2Java handling of the WSDL? Is there a fundamental mismatch between Axis 1 and Axis2?   Hi, I cannot figure out the origin of the ConcurrentModificationException. In my activity I'm calling updateMapOverlay(). I'm also calling updateMapOverlay() inside another Thread (a TimerTask) that is invoked on regular intervals. I'm taking the appropriate locks when invoking updateMapOverlay() from both the threads. Is this problem being caused because I'm invoking updateMapOverlay from inside a non-UI thread (i.e., TimerTask). Any idea why is this error coming? Actually first i created a Enterprise application and everything seemed to work fine. But then, i copied files from my enterprise application's ejb module to a separate module and since then these errors are coming. This is in my build-impl.xml :- <target depends="compile" name="library-inclusion-in-archive"> <copyfiles files="${libs.Log4J.classpath}" todir="${build.classes.dir}"/> </target> <target depends="compile" name="library-inclusion-in-manifest"> <copyfiles files="${libs.Log4J.classpath}" todir="${dist.ear.dir}/lib"/> <manifest file="${build.ear.classes.dir}/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF" mode="update"/> </target> Don't know why is this pointing to ear instead of jar. Is there any problem with the above statement? How do i resolve this? I am using Netbeans 6.8 Thanks in advance :)

  Hi there, I am new to PayPal API, and I'm having trouble calling SetExpressCheckout using CURL in PHP. I have set everything correctly, as far as I'm concerned, but I kept getting an 81002 error "Method Specified is not Supported". The code snippet is below.
