  • Access 2007 can I capture the "clicked" field using an OnClick event on a report?

    In Access 2007 I want to be able to click on a name field in a report and call a separate report with personal information about the person who's name was clicked to start the event. This would be as an alternative to creating a subreport or including the subreport fields in the main report in the interest of saving space. How do I reference the value of the clicked field for use in a query called with the OnClick event? Thanks for your help.

    Hi, I'm trying to automatically retrieve some email from my GMail account for further parsing, but I can't get my head around on how to do that. I've searched the internets and it suggested that I use PHP's imap functions, like this: $server = '{imap.gmail.com:993/ssl}'; $connection = imap_open($server, '[email protected]', 'password'); But using that code, I get: Warning: imap_open() [function.imap-open]: Couldn't open stream {imap.gmail.com:993/ssl} Any idea what I am doing wrong? Any server setting that might be preventing me from making a connection to GMail (I'm using a shared service)? Is the address even right? Has anyone ever managed to do something like this? I've found tons of examples on how to send email via GMail, but very little of retrieving. Any help is much appreciated.

    I am trying to work with layout managers for the first time, and they are just kicking me in the teeth. I am trying to make a background image and then put buttons on top, using GridBagLayout, if there is a a better layoutmanager please do tell. As for trying to learn how to use layout managers, its very difficult and any learning references would also be much appreciated.     When I try to write an AT command to my GSM modem, it does not seem to take the command. I have used PuTTY to check that the command words, it does. I have checked to see if the port is opening, it does. What could I possibly be doing wrong?     I have a SharePoint 2007 MOSS instance, and I'm on a fact-finding mission. There have been multiple developers, developing multiple webparts and deploying them (using VS2005/2008 SharePoint Extensions). I thought maybe I could look at the fields in the "Web Part Gallery" list in my site, and look by "Modified by", but it looks like a developer's name is on some of the out-of-the-box webparts somehow, and on ones I know are custom developed, they say "System Account" - so looking at that field in this list is a no go. I thought then maybe I could look at the "Group" to which each webpart was assigned but it looks like they were arbitrarily assigned to many different groups inconsistently - so using that piece of information is a no go. Here is my code I have for just looping through and getting the names of all the webparts. Is there any property I can access on the list items of webparts that would tell me whether it's a custom developed webpart? Any way to distinguish the custom webparts from the out-of-the-box ones?     I have been messing with Open Graph for hours and can't figure out why Facebook still wont let me show an image when I share a link to a new site I just launched. Even sites I built 5 years ago that have no clue of Open Graph show images so I have no idea why this new site wont allow it. I just need to launch this site and every time I post the url in my status update only text appears. I re sized the image to be 200px x 135px but that still doesn't work.. It can find the image but it wont show up. Please help me figure this thing out. I have a number of people sharing this page right now and no image shows up.. So embarrassing. Thank you in advance!   • WindowStartupLocation.CenterScreen is opening my window on the wrong display

    According to the documentation, CenterScreen should open the window in the center of the screen that contains the mouse cursor, however this is not happening. I have a dual monitor setup, with my secondary monitor appearing to the left of my primary monitor (the one with the task bar). When the user clicks a link in my interface on the primary (right-most) monitor, and I open a new window with WindowStartupLocation set to CenterScreen, the window appears in the center of the screen of the left monitor. This is not where the mouse is and I am lost as to why it is picking that display. Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas for a workaround? If I can't get the proper behavior using WindowStartupLocation, I will just manually move the window to the proper display (I still have to figure that out though).
