    Hi still stuck with the ugly scheme the problem this time is to get the median of three values (easy) I did all these : (define (med x y z) (car(cdr(x y z))) and it was accepted but when testing it (med 3 4 5) I will get this error Error: attempt to call a non-procedure (2 3 4) and when entering letters inetead of number i got (md x y z) Error: undefined varia y (package user) using somthin else than x y z i got (md d l m) Error: undefined variable d (package user) so what is wronge ?!

  • How can I Duplicate a MSSQL Symmetric Key?

    We have a server with a database that has a symmetric key (Database - Security - Symmetric Key). We have a backup duplicate databases that we are using as a test databases, but we don't have this key in there. How can I duplicate this symmetric key (or make a new one exactly like the old) and put it in the existing databases? It has to have the same value and key-name as the other one. This is on MS SQL Server (edit) 2008 .

  • users see my SMS messages as coming from '1010100001'

    In my application, I ask the user to enter their cell and select their provider. I append the provider's email and create the message and fire via php.mail() The problem is that no matter what the header info is, the message comes from '1010100001' on some phones (like AT&T and the iPhone). When testing on my Verizon phone, I get the proper email address as the sender. Any idea how I can send a clearer message?

I'm aware of the security issues that arise - my plan is to use this approach to do live website usability testing (A/B style).     Hi, I'm looking for a package (any language, really) that I can use on a corpus of 50 documents to perform interdocument similarity testing in various metrics, like tfidf, okapi, language models, lsa, etc. I want as a result a document similarity matrix, i.e. doc1 is x% similar to doc2, etc...     I've created and tested WCF service, everything works fine. When I deployed to TEST environment and tried to open https://my.site/myapp/EnrollmentService.svc I've got the error message: Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding MetadataExchangeHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [https]. Internet showed me that I need to add some more configuration options: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WCF/7stepsWCF.aspx I've added some settings to service web.config file.     What are all the file formats supported by UIWebView? In my testing, I found that it supports XLS, DOC, PPT, PDF but not XLSX, and DOCX, RTF. It supports image files like, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, not sure about TIFF or Exactly, what all types are supported is not clear... The UIWebView documentation also doesn't state it clearly. Could someone please help?

  • What is the difference between NULL in C++ and null in Java?

    I've been trying to figure out why C++ is making me crazy typing NULL. Suddenly it hits me the other day; I've been typing null (lower case) in Java for years. Now suddenly I'm programming in C++ and that little chunk of muscle memory is making me crazy. Wikiperipatetic defines C++ NULL as part of the stddef: A macro that expands to a null pointer constant. It may be defined as ((void*)0), 0 or 0L depending on the compiler and the language. Sun's docs tells me this about Java's "null literal": The null type has one value, the null reference, represented by the literal null, which is formed from ASCII characters. A null literal is always of the null type. So this is all very nice. I know what a null pointer reference is, and thank you for the compiler notes. Now I'm a little fuzzy on the idea of a literal in Java so I read on... A literal is the source code representation of a fixed value; literals are represented directly in your code without requiring computation. There's also a special null literal that can be used as a value for any reference type. null may be assigned to any variable, except variables of primitive types. There's little you can do with a null value beyond testing for its presence. Therefore, null is often used in programs as a marker to indicate that some object is unavailable. Ok, so I think I get it now. In C++ NULL is a macro that, when compiled, defines the null pointer constant. In Java, null is a fixed value that any non-primitive can be assigned too; great for testing in a handy if statement. Java does not have pointers, so I can see why they kept null a simple value rather than anything fancy. But why did java decide to change the all caps NULL to null? Furthermore, am I missing anything here?

However due to security issues and also the ability to get certain references installed, I have to move this to an App Server and so doing it as a Windows Service and communicating with the ASP.Net site now via sockets.     I am testing some enhanced string related functions with which I am trying to use move as a way to copy strings around for faster, more efficient use without delving into pointers. While testing a function for making a delimited string from a TStringList, I encountered a strange issue. The compiler referenced the bytes contained through the index when it was empty and when a string was added to it through move, index referenced the characters contained.
