    I am creating a website using IonCube. I can use some PHP coding in the HTML page templates, however, I would like to know how to get the FULL URL plus a link when I click on it. For example, My current URL is: http://example.com/site_search.php?option_1=1&option_2=1 and when I click on a link, it directs me to another added option, so the result will be: http://example.com/site_search.php?option_1=1&option_2=1&option_3&option_4=8 As you have seen, these are options, and users can select anything.   • .htaccess cross browser

    Hi, Im trying to load a custom error document for a 404 error using a .htaccess file on a linux server, the page gets the current page URL then redirects to another site (which is retrieved from a db) based on an id it retrieved from the URL. The current error documents are stored here: /error_docs/ - i dont have permission to upload anything other than the HTML files that are already in there /HTTPDocs/301redir.php is the site root where the .htaccess file is. i have used the following to load the 301redir.php page as the error doc, which works in FF but no other browsers. ErrorDocument 404 /310redir.php using .htaccess is my only real option for changing this, is there a way to get around this issue and make it work across all browsers?

    I have a HTML file and a PHP file in the same folder on the remote server. From the URL, I call the HTML file and the HTML file calls the PHP file when form is submitted. But it is not going correctly. When I submit the Form, it dislays error: 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.   • Display username to logged in user only?

    I have a Wordpress blog set up to display comments as "Anonymous User" by hard coding it into the comments.php file. I would like to have it say the user's Username next to their comment and ONLY display that Username to THEM. In other words, if they're a guest, they'll see "Anonymous User" and if they're a registered/logged in DIFFERENT user, they'll still see "Anonymous User", but if it's THEIR comment it'll say "Your Comment" or their own username.   • Defautlt Contoller in CodeIgniter

    Hello everyone, I am wondering if there is any other configuration options for a default controller. For example - if I have a controller called "site" and I set the default controller in the following file: application/config/routes.php to: $route['default_controller'] = "site"; I should be able to go to http://localhost and that brings up the index(); function in the site controller. However, if I try to do go to http://localhost/index.php/index2 to load the index2(); function I get a 404 error. If i change the URL to http://localhost/index.php/site/index2 it works fine - but I thought already set the default controller. Is there any way around this? Any thoughts?

Line number 11 consists of this: $this->db->where('username', $data); Not sure as to why the db is an undefined property?

There is a utility (.jar file) which when I use command line makes a remote call (I guess this is a Web Service) which returns me the data. how do I best incorporate this into my webapplication described on top? My application front end will have a Button that should make an AJAX call to the REST Interface and fetch the data as JSON.     Hi guys, I am getting lot of traffic to my php pages but without the variable $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] setted. This traffic is like 1 hit per second. I don't know what it could be, but for reducing server load i am doing this at the top of every php pages: if (!isset($_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'])) exit; Do u know what could cause this? Is it safe to exit whenever http_host is not setted? Can a normal user visit my pages without setting http_host? PHP version: 5.2.0-8, Apache: 2.2.3 Thanks

    I'm using drupal 6. I've managed to make a .tpl file for one content type, that is for images in my image gallery. I did that by adding this code in template.php: function artbasic_theme($existing, $type, $theme, $path) { return array( 'galleryimage_node_form' => array( 'arguments' => array('form' => NULL), 'template' => 'galleryimage_node_form' ) ); } And then I created galleryimage_node_form.tpl.php, and was good to go. Now it happens so that I want to have other template files for the forms of other content types, for example link_contrib_node_form.tpl.php. I've tried a couple of ways to change this function to include more content types, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

  • Apply a class to a <h1> based on the site url

    I'm new to PHP and want to apply a specific class to the title of my page depending on what part of the site the viewer is browsing. For instance, I want to apply the class "blog" to the if the viewer is at domain.com/blog OR domain.com/blog/post-1 so on and so forth BUT apply the class "pics" if they're viewing domain.com/pics or domain.com/pics/gallery-1 etc etc. I found something that could be modified to serve my needs using javascript here but I figured seeing as I'm using PHP already, it'd make more sense to keep this sort of thing server side. As I say, I'm new to PHP. I've experimented with some regular expressions, but to no avail.

  • Creating a file/folder structure and zipping it up?

    I have a directory of image files and I need a php script or shell script that will rename them, create a structure of nested directories, and then insert each image into a specified place in the directory hierarchy. Ideally I would just specify a parent directory for each file and a parent directory for each directory and it would build it. And then finally, I need the script to zip up the whole thing. There's probably not an existing php class that will do all this for me, but if anyone knows of a php class or other script available online that would handle a lot of this logic that would be great.

    I'm using jQuery to load the result of a PHP script into a variable. The script is passed something that the user typed with a GET request. I want to take just what the script spit out into its <body> tag. Here's what I've tried: JS: function loader() { var typed = $('#i').val(); //get what user typed in $.get("script.php", {i: typed}, function(loaded) {dataloaded = loaded;}); alert($(dataloaded).find('body')) } But it just displays [Objec object]. How can I get a useful value that is just the contents of the body of a loaded page? I know the PHP works, I just need the JS. The script echos something like 1!!2 (two numbers separated by two exclamation points). Thanks!
