    How do I draw interactive widgets such as QButtons and Line Edits over a QGraphicsView? For ex, I have selected a region over an image in an image editing app which displays an image with QGraphicsView, and I want to annotate this region with a name.     Hi all i want to know there a limitation in size for an iphone to display an image? as the resolution of iphone is 320*480 px. i am developing an app which fetches photos from an URL and that URL contains some photos os size 600KB.So when i launch the app in simulator it behaves properly but in device the application crashes as soon as photos with higher resolution are displayed , and when lower resolution photos are displayed the app does not crash in the device.

  • recvfrom returns invalid argument when *from* is passed

    I am currently writing a small UDP server program in linux. The UDP server will receive packets from two different peers and will perform different operations based on from which peer it received the packet. I am trying to determine the source from where I receive the packet. However, when select returns and recvfrom is called, it returns with an error of Invalid Argument. If I pass NULL as the second last arguments, recvfrom succeeds. I have tried declaring fromAddr as struct sockaddr_storage, struct sockaddr_in, struct sockaddr without any success. Is their something wrong with this code? Is this the correct way to determine the source of the packet?     Hi All, I am performing file operations (writeToFile) which fetches the data from a xml and writes into a output file(a1.txt).   • Mysql query taking too much time

    I have problem related to mysql database. i am linux webserver admin and i am facing a problem with a mysql query. The database is very small. I tried to track in logs and found that a query is taking minimum 5 sec to respond . The first page of site is coming from the database. Client are using cms. when the server gets some number of hits database server starts to give response very slowly and wait time increases from 5 sec to several seconds. I checked slow query logs { Query_time: 11.480138 Lock_time: 0.003837 Rows_sent: 921 Rows_examined: 3333 SET timestamp=1346656767; SELECT `Tender`.`id`, `Tender`.`department_id`, `Tender`.`title_english`, `Tender`.`content_english`, `Tender`.`title_hindi`, `Tender`.`content_hindi`, `Tender`.`file_name`, `Tender`.`start_publish`, `Tender`.`end_publish`, `Tender`.`publish`, `Tender`.`status`, `Tender`.`createdBy`, `Tender`.`created`, `Tender`.`modifyBy`, `Tender`.`modified` FROM `mcms_tenders` AS `Tender` WHERE `Tender`.`department_id` IN ( 31, 33, 32, 30 ); } Every line in the log is same only there is diff in Query time.     Hello, I have "BackUpContacts.db" database in SQLiteDatabase, it has a table named "ContactInfo" with column names ContactId, ContactName, MobilePhone1, MobilePhone2, OfficePhone1, OfficePhone2, OfficePhone3, HomePhone1, HomePhone2 and TokenId. What i want is to transfer all data of "ContactInfo" table to the mysql database system at some server (means server has also a table similar to "ContactInfo", where all data of "ContactInfo" will be copied). The last important thing which i want is that, whenever i want to get contacts(of a specified TokenId) i can backup all those from server to the mobile device in an xml file. in short, can here anyone help me how to transfer sqlite db to a web server?

    I'm trying to install xuggler Java libraries in Tomcat (version 5.5) on fedora-release-7-3 Should I install the binaries available for download on xuggler website or build my own (http://www.xuggle.com/xuggler/downloads/build.jsp)? I took the easy step first and installed the readymade binaries downloaded from http://www.xuggle.com/xuggler/downloads/ in usr/local/xuggler folder on my Linux server and then copied the jar files from share/java/jars folder to Tomcat's $CATALINA_HOME/shared/lib directory (as recommended by http://wiki.xuggle.com/Frequently_Asked_Questions#I_get_an_.22UnsatisfiedLinkError.22_when_I_run_Xuggler-based_Applications_in_Tomcat These are some 6 .jar files, including xuggle-xuggler.jar After restarting Tomcat, I'm still getting "java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no xuggle-xuggler in java.library.path" exception when my Java code attempts to invoke some xuggler method such as the one to find video duration of an flv file. What am I doing wrong? Any help is very much appreciated!

  • Why does my sharepoint web part event handler lose the sender value on postback?

    I have a web part which is going to be a part of pair of connected web parts. For simplicity, I am just describing the consumer web part. This web part has 10 link buttons on it. And they are rendered in the Render method instead ofCreateChildControls as this webpart will be receiving values based on input from the provider web part. Each Link Button has a text which is decided dynamically based on the input from provider web part. When I click on any of the Link Buttons, the event handler is triggered but the text on the Link Button shows up as the one set in CreateChildControls. When I trace the code, I see that the CreateChildControls gets called before the event handler (and i think that resets my Link Buttons). How do I get the event handler to show me the dynamic text instead?     I changed the ArrayAdapter method of spinner and i got my custom Spinner. just change the parameter of this method like Spinner spinner = (Spinner) findViewById(R.id.Spinner01); ArrayAdapter<CharSequence> adapter=ArrayAdapter.createFromResource(This,R.array.statename,R.layout.mylayout); spinner.setAdapter(adp); In Which the mylayout file contains <EditText android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:id="@+id/spinnerTarget" android:textColor="#FF8B1500" android:gravity="center" >
