  • Custom keyboard shortcuts are reset. How can I make them set permanently?

    I'm having a problem with both Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 with custom keyboard shorcuts. They are reset after a while (I can't find a pattern but it seems to be when a massive upgrade happens). It happend to me a couple of days ago, when 12.10 got about 27 updates. I've searched launchapd and askubuntu, and found no question similar. My shortucts are not lost on reboot, I still can't find a pattern to identify the problem as I said. I tried also not using Control Center app, but gnome's dconf-editor, but same result as I found on some blog post. My question is, how can I save my custom shorcuts to restore them when this happens? Can somebody help me compose a bug for launchpad, like what package could be causing this, so I can fill a bug report. Thanks in advance.

    Hi! I'm trying to compose two videos, and I'm using the alpha plug-in to make the white color transparent. To test the alpha plug-in I'm creating the pipeline with gst-launch. The first test I done was: gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=smpte75 \ ! alpha method=custom target-r=255 target-g=255 target-b=255 angle=10 \ ! videomixer name=mixer ! ffmpegcolorspace ! autovideosink \ videotestsrc pattern=snow ! mixer. and it works great! Then I created two videos with those lines: gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=snow ! ffmpegcolorspace ! theoraenc ! oggmux ! filesink location=snow.ogv gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=smpte75 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! theoraenc ! oggmux ! filesink location=bars75.ogv And changed the videotestsrc to a filesrc and it continues working gst-launch filesrc location=bars75.ogv ! decodebin2 \ ! alpha method=custom target-r=255 target-g=255 target-b=255 angle=10 \ ! videomixer name=mixer ! ffmpegcolorspace ! autovideosink \ filesrc location=snow.ogv ! decodebin2 ! alpha ! mixer. But I am getting the error that I cannot use a group function inside the inner query: ORA-00934: group function is not allowed here Can you offer an alternative other than resorting to another outer query?

Inside the form handler (get): self.redirect('/compose?error_message=%s' % message) and in the handler (get) of redirected URI, gets the message from request: values = { 'error_message': self.request.get('error_message'), ... Is there a way to accomplish the same without embedding the message in the URI?

  • removing contents of div using Jquery "empty" doesn't work

    I'm trying to remove contents of particular div which are basically list items and a heading by using jquery empty so that I could replace with new contents. What happens when I run the code is, the whole div element blinked and flash the replaced content and then the old one reappear. Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?     Is there a way to configure hg com so that in the commit message file that pops up in the external editor, instead of just showing which files were changed (in the HG: lines) it actually shows the full diff? I'd rather view the output and compose my commit message simultaneously from the comfort of my text editor as opposed to doing hg diff on the command line separately beforehand.
