  • camera picturecallback intent not work

    After I take the photo, the program automatically goes back like onBackPressed(). When I remove the putExtra, the intent runs. When I put startActivity() after takePicture(), it transfers null data.... I just want to put the image data to another activity to have other use. I want RED HOT it to be red. It seems the array can be indexed in such a way to switch the color from Blue to Red.   • is it possible to make one click fires two events or more by javascript?

    I am currently making a temporary download page for website visitor. The page includes a form, after the visitor fills the form up, the site will take them to the pdf download page. In the download page, there are some pdf files download links (I am just using a tag.). However, i wanna make a onclick event to those links, once they have been clicked, the page will refresh automatically or redirect to other pages. <a href="/file.pdf" onClick="window.location.reload()">The File</a> I have tried the jquery way as well. <a href="/file.pdf" id="FileDownload">The File</a> <script> $("#FileDownload").click(function(){ location.reload(); }); </script> But all the them are not working.   • Latest Ubuntu stuck on "completing the ubuntu installation"

    So my issue is after installing 12.10 Ubuntu using wubi.exe on a dedicated parition and rebooting the computer I am given the option to boot ubuntu, as I choose ubuntu I am brought to the "completing the ubuntu installation page" after it hits 0 on the countdown it just sits doing nothing. I left my computer on all day and still the same issue so I know its not just a slow install. Some say its because ubuntu cannot find a video driver for my card (xfx radeon 5770) which if that is the case is there a way i can run the install without it needing to look for drivers?

  • Trying to boot from usb

    I have similar issues but none with the 12.04 build. Im trying this on a dell d610 laptop with a bad hard drive and was told i could just directly boot from the usb drive. Im using an 8g usb drive and i have tried using the uui tool and get this message. SYSLINUX 4.06 EDD 4.06-pre1 Copyright (c) 1994-2011 H.Peter Anvinet al ERROR: No configuration file found No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found! Then i tried using unetbootin and got the bootup screen with only the default option and it would say auto boot with a 10 sec countdown and start over again. I do have the boot sequence for usb first.

    I want to create a customized (modded) fps game where I can change the look and feel of the game to match my intended theme. Some of the things I would like to do: Create a custom map (terrain). Add custom sound effects Change AI (For example, running away instead of actively looking for combat). Change menus and add some storyboard. Script events in game (like a countdown until game over) Change the models of the NPC's. What options do I have? Is there any platform/game/engine/whatever that allows one to do the things above in a reasonable way? I work as a programmer so I'm not afraid of coding some part of the project, but to save time it would be nice to work in some high-level way (like scripting or configuration files).

    I'm working on an adventure game in win32 and opengl for my 2nd year university project for class. I am pretty much finished my game but I'm stuck on the concept of how to program a timer which outputs hh : mm : ss -- but which countdown, not up. I've made a clock which counts up using vector matrices and the segxseg matrix algorithm but I cannot figure out how to make a clock (it can be simple even text using wsprintf) that counts down in that format. Can anyone possible give me an example or some literature that I can read on how to do this? Please dont suggest for me to use another environment, I've already been working here for 2 months on this game, and I'm pretty much done so i'm at no point to switch over. Can anyone show me how I can take a shot at this component of my project? Thanks a bunch! Anything that I can get is appreciated.

  • Hide GRUB2 menu UNLESS you hold down Shift key: how to make this happen?

    I have a Ubuntu - Windows 7 dual-boot set-up, and I would like to have it that my laptop would boot up Windows 7 unless I press down the Shift key right after boot and bring up the Grub2 menu from which I can choose Ubuntu. I researched on Grub2 and options for etc/default/grub and I have tried playing around with combinations with the GRUB_TIMEOUT and GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT values, but to no avail. I tried setting the GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT higher than the GRUB_TIMEOUT thinking that both countdown start simultaneously, but no - GRUB_TIMEOUT only starts after the other is done. Is this behavior achievable? If so, how?

  • Jquery Count up Animation?

    I have a a counter that needs to count up from $0 to $10,000 in x seconds (most likely 3 seconds). Just straight text, kind of like a millisecond countdown timer, but upwards and with a dollar sign. I'd rather not use a bulky plugin as this just needs to loop through 1-10,00 in x seconds and update every 100ms or so. I'm stuck at creating the loop that will update, where should I start?
