    Hello, I have a few inputTextBoxes and I'm using document.activeElement to handle value changes of those inputboxes called by "change()" function of inputBox element. the problem is when I change the value of one of the inputboxes and then click in another inputbox... the function will get the document.activeElement of the new inputbox and will not work... how to make the function "know" that the one that changed was the previous one?

How do I set the field 'a' to have the same number as id? (default=???)     I have several question for the Django Admin feature. Im kind of new in Django so im not sure how to do it. Basically what Im looking to do is when Im adding information on the model. Some of the fields i want them to be drop-downs and maybe combo-boxes with AutoCompleteMode.   • Modularity in Flex

    I'm working on a pretty big application for Flex/Air. We are using GraniteDS and Tide to interact with the model from our Java EE server. I've been reading about modularization and Modules in Flex. The application has already been built, and I'm figuring a way out to re-design some classes and parts. From what I've read so far, I understand a Module is a different swf which can be dynamically load. Most of the tutorials/documentation are oriented to Flash "programmers" who are using Flex or Air instead of real developers, so that makes online resources harder to get. What I can't understand - yet - is how to encapsulate ActionScript classes or MXML views under this module. I've separated some of the code into libraries. For example, the generated code from Granite is in a "server" library. But I would like to separate parts of the logic with its Moderators, Controllers and Views. Are modules the way to go? Is there a "modules for dummies" or "head first Flex Modules for programmers" like tutorial in order to get a better perspective in order to build my architecture? When to choose libraries and when to choose modules? I'm using Flex 3.5, and a migration to Flex 4 is way far into the future, so no Flex 4 answers please, thanks!

    Hi, I have an application that sometimes causes an access violation on exit. This is quite unpredictable and all attempts to locate the bug have been unsuccesful so far. The bug is harmless, as no data is lost, so I was thinking if it might be possible to just hide it. Is it possible to have another app launch the buggy one and catch the Access Violation exception if it occurs? If yes, how? Thanks in advance!

I tried to register my dll with regasm but i've always got the warning to give strong name, but i tried a lot of thing and i got this error again.   • Manipulate score/rank on query results from NHibernate.Search

    I've been working with NHibernate, NHibernate.Search and Lucene.Net to improve the search engine used on the website I develop. Basically, I use it to search contents of corporations specification documents. This is not to be confused with Lucene's notion of documents: in my case, a specification document (which I'll hereafter call a "specdoc") can contain many pages, and the content of these pages are the ones that are actually indexed (thus, the pages themselves are the ones that fall into Lucene's concept of documents). So, the pages belong to a specdoc, that in turn belong to a corporation (so, a corporation can have many specdocs). I'm using NHibernate.Search "IndexEmbedded" and "ContainedIn" attributes to associate the pages with their specdoc and the specdocs to their corporations, so I can query for terms in specdoc pages and have Lucene/NH.Search return either the pages themselves, the specdocs, or the corporations that match the query on the pages. I can query this way and get ranked results, thus presenting results (that is, corporations, specdocs or pages) by relevance, which is great. But now I need something more. Specifically in the case where I query terms and have NH.Search return the corporations that match, I need to manually/artificially tune the score of some of the results, because there are corporations that I want to show up on the top of the result set - think of "sponsored results". I'm thinking of doing it on my application, maybe creating an entity/database table that contain an association to the corporation entity, and a score boost value. But I don't know how to feed this to Lucene and have it boost the results accordingly at search time. Initially I thought about deriving a Similarity class to do this, but it doesn't look like Similarity can be used to modify result sets at search time. As per this page, it looks like what I need is to mess around with weight or scoring. But the docs are a little superficial in that there are no examples on how to implement a custom scoring, let alone integrate it with NH.Search. So, does anyone know how to do this, or point me to some documentation or working example on how to do something similar? Thanks!

    Heyall... I want to build a lightweight linux configuration to use for development. The first idea is to use it inside a Virtual Machine under Windows, or old Laptops with 1Gb RAM top. Maybe even a distributable environment for developers. So the whole idea is to use a LAMP server, Java Application Server (Tomcat or Jetty) and X Windows (any Window manager, from FVWM to Enlightment), Eclipse, maybe jEdit and of course Firefox. Edit: I am changing this post to compile a possible list of distros and window managers that can be used to configure a real lightweight development environment. I am using as base personal experiences on this matter. Info about the distros can be easily found in their sites.     I'm trying to unit test a controller, but can't figure out how to pass some extra parameters to the routeMatch object. This code works if the editable=True but if i want to hide it it doesnt change the value of reference. how can i fix that?

    what Im looking to do is to have a link on the name of a field of a model. So when im filling the form using the admin interface i can access some information. I know this doesn't work but shows what i want to do class A(models.Model): item_type = models.CharField(max_length=100, choices=ITEMTYPE_CHOICES, verbose_name="<a href='http://www.quackit.com/html/codes'>Item Type</a>") Other option would be to put a description next to the field.
