  • IDirect3DDevice9::GetRenderTargetData() returns no data

    - by P. Avery
    I've got a simple function to get the rendertarget data of an RT( w/default pool ). This particular RT has a resolution of 1x1( it's the 10'th and final mip of a texture ). Here is my code to get data for IDirect3DSurface9 *pTargetSurface: IDirect3DSurface9 *pSOS = NULL; pd3dDevice->CreateOffScreenPlainSurface( 1, 1, D3DFMT_A8R8G8B8, D3DPOOL_SYSTEMMEM, &pSOS, NULL ); // get residual energy if( FAILED( hr = pd3dDevice->GetRenderTargetData( pTargetSurface, pSOS ) ) ) { DebugStringDX( ClassName, "Failed to IDirect3DDevice9::GetRenderTargetData() at DownsampleArea()", __LINE__, hr ); goto Exit; } // lock surface if( FAILED( hr = pSOS->LockRect( &rct, NULL, D3DLOCK_READONLY ) ) ) { DebugStringDX( ClassName, "Failed to IDirect3DSurface9::LockRect() at DownsampleArea()", __LINE__, hr ); goto Exit; } // get residual energy from downsampled texture pByte = ( BYTE* )rct.pBits; D3DXVECTOR4 vEnergy; vEnergy.z = ( float )pByte[ 0 ] / 255.0f; vEnergy.y = ( float )pByte[ 1 ] / 255.0f; vEnergy.x = ( float )pByte[ 2 ] / 255.0f; vEnergy.w = ( float )pByte[ 3 ] / 255.0f; V( pSOS->UnlockRect() ); All formatting and settings are correct, directx in debug mode shows no errors... The problem is that the 4 bytes above are 0...I know this to be incorrect by using PIX to debug...PIX shows that RGB bytes are 0.078 and Alpah is 1. These values are not less than that which can be represented by a single byte( 1 / 255 ). Any ideas? Am I copying rendertarget data correctly?

  • Delphi Speech recognition delphi

    - by XBasic3000
    I need create a programatic equivalent using delphi language... or could someone post a link on how to do grammars in peech recogniton using the delphi. sorry for my english... XML Grammar Sample(s): <GRAMMAR> <!-- Create a simple "hello world" rule --> <RULE NAME="HelloWorld" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P>hello world</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a more advanced "hello world" rule that changes the display form. When the user says "hello world" the display text will be "Hiya there!" --> <RULE NAME="HelloWorld_Disp" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P DISP="Hiya there!">hello world</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a rule that changes the pronunciation and the display form of the phrase. When the user says "eh" the display text will be "I don't understand?". Note the user didn't say "huh". The pronunciation for "what" is specific to this phrase tag and is not changed for the user or application lexicon, or even other instances of "what" in the grammar --> <RULE NAME="Question_Pron" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P DISP="I don't understand" PRON="eh">what</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a rule demonstrating repetition --> <!-- the rule will only be recognized if the user says "hey diddle diddle" --> <RULE NAME="NurseryRhyme" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P>hey</P> <P MIN="2" MAX="2">diddle</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a list with variable phrase weights --> <!-- If the user says similar phrases, the recognizer will use the weights to pick a match --> <RULE NAME="UseWeights" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <LIST> <!-- Note the higher likelihood that the user is expected to say "recognizer speech" --> <P WEIGHT=".95">recognize speech</P> <P WEIGHT=".05">wreck a nice beach</P> </LIST> </RULE> <!-- Create a phrase with an attached semantic property --> <!-- Speaking "one two three" will return three different unique semantic properties, with different names, and different values --> <RULE NAME="UseProps" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <!-- named property, without value --> <P PROPNAME="NOVALUE">one</P> <!-- named property, with numeric value --> <P PROPNAME="NUMBER" VAL="2">two</P> <!-- named property, with string value --> <P PROPNAME="STRING" VALSTR="three">three</P> </RULE> </GRAMMAR> **Programmatic Equivalent:** To add a phrase to a rule, SAPI provides an API called ISpGrammarBuilder::AddWordTransition. The application developer can add the sentences as follows: SPSTATEHANDLE hsHelloWorld; // Create new top-level rule called "HelloWorld" hr = cpRecoGrammar->GetRule(L"HelloWorld", NULL, SPRAF_TopLevel | SPRAF_Active, TRUE, &hsHelloWorld); // Check hr // Add the command words "hello world" // Note that the lexical delimiter is " ", a space character. // By using a space delimiter, the entire phrase can be added // in one method call hr = cpRecoGrammar->AddWordTransition(hsHelloWorld, NULL, L"hello world", L" ", SPWT_LEXICAL, NULL, NULL); // Check hr // Add the command words "hiya there" // Note that the lexical delimiter is "|", a pipe character. // By using a pipe delimiter, the entire phrase can be added // in one method call hr = cpRecoGrammar->AddWordTransition(hsHelloWorld, NULL, L"hiya|there", L"|", SPWT_LEXICAL, NULL, NULL); // Check hr // save/commit changes hr = cpRecoGrammar->Commit(NULL); // Check hr

  • How do I programmatically send email w/attachment to a known recipient using MAPI in C++? MAPISendM

    - by Tim
    This question is similar, but does not show how to add a recipient. How do I do both? We'd like the widest support possible for as many Windows platforms as possible (from XP and greater) We're using visual studio 2008 Essentially we want to send an email with: pre-filled destination address file attachment subject line from our program and give the user the ability to add any information or cancel it. EDIT I am trying to use MAPISendMail() I copied much of the code from the questions linked near the top, but I get no email dlg box and the error return I get from the call is: 0x000f - "The system cannot find the drive specified" If I comment out the lines to set the recipient, it works fine (of course then I have no recipient pre-filled in) Here is the code: #include <tchar.h> #include <windows.h> #include <mapi.h> #include <mapix.h> int _tmain( int argc, wchar_t *argv[] ) { HMODULE hMapiModule = LoadLibrary( _T( "mapi32.dll" ) ); if ( hMapiModule != NULL ) { LPMAPIINITIALIZE lpfnMAPIInitialize = NULL; LPMAPIUNINITIALIZE lpfnMAPIUninitialize = NULL; LPMAPILOGONEX lpfnMAPILogonEx = NULL; LPMAPISENDDOCUMENTS lpfnMAPISendDocuments = NULL; LPMAPISESSION lplhSession = NULL; LPMAPISENDMAIL lpfnMAPISendMail = NULL; lpfnMAPIInitialize = (LPMAPIINITIALIZE)GetProcAddress( hMapiModule, "MAPIInitialize" ); lpfnMAPIUninitialize = (LPMAPIUNINITIALIZE)GetProcAddress( hMapiModule, "MAPIUninitialize" ); lpfnMAPILogonEx = (LPMAPILOGONEX)GetProcAddress( hMapiModule, "MAPILogonEx" ); lpfnMAPISendDocuments = (LPMAPISENDDOCUMENTS)GetProcAddress( hMapiModule, "MAPISendDocuments" ); lpfnMAPISendMail = (LPMAPISENDMAIL)GetProcAddress( hMapiModule, "MAPISendMail" ); if ( lpfnMAPIInitialize && lpfnMAPIUninitialize && lpfnMAPILogonEx && lpfnMAPISendDocuments ) { HRESULT hr = (*lpfnMAPIInitialize)( NULL ); if ( SUCCEEDED( hr ) ) { hr = (*lpfnMAPILogonEx)( 0, NULL, NULL, MAPI_EXTENDED | MAPI_USE_DEFAULT, &lplhSession ); if ( SUCCEEDED( hr ) ) { // this opens the email client // create the msg. • SPARC T4-4 Delivers World Record First Result on PeopleSoft Combined Benchmark

    - by Brian
    Oracle's SPARC T4-4 servers running Oracle's PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 combined online and batch benchmark achieved World Record 18,000 concurrent users while executing a PeopleSoft Payroll batch job of 500,000 employees in 43.32 minutes and maintaining online users response time at < 2 seconds. This world record is the first to run online and batch workloads concurrently. This result was obtained with a SPARC T4-4 server running Oracle Database 11g Release 2, a SPARC T4-4 server running PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 application server and a SPARC T4-2 server running Oracle WebLogic Server in the web tier. The SPARC T4-4 server running the application tier used Oracle Solaris Zones which provide a flexible, scalable and manageable virtualization environment. The average CPU utilization on the SPARC T4-2 server in the web tier was 17%, on the SPARC T4-4 server in the application tier it was 59%, and on the SPARC T4-4 server in the database tier was 35% (online and batch) leaving significant headroom for additional processing across the three tiers. The SPARC T4-4 server used for the database tier hosted Oracle Database 11g Release 2 using Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for database files management with I/O performance equivalent to raw devices. This is the first three tier mixed workload (online and batch) PeopleSoft benchmark also processing PeopleSoft payroll batch workload. The PeopleSoft HRSS benchmark kit is a Oracle standard benchmark kit run by all platform vendors to measure the performance. It's an OLTP benchmark where DB SQLs are moderately complex. The results are certified by Oracle and a white paper is published. PeopleSoft HR SS defines a business transaction as a series of HTML pages that guide a user through a particular scenario. Users are defined as corporate Employees, Managers and HR administrators. The benchmark consist of 14 scenarios which emulate users performing typical HCM transactions such as viewing paycheck, promoting and hiring employees, updating employee profile and other typical HCM application transactions. All these transactions are well-defined in the PeopleSoft HR Self-Service 9.1 benchmark kit. This benchmark metric is the weighted average response search/save time for all the transactions. The PeopleSoft 9.1 Payroll (North America) benchmark demonstrates system performance for a range of processing volumes in a specific configuration. This workload represents large batch runs typical of a ERP environment during a mass update. The benchmark measures five application business process run times for a database representing large organization. They are Paysheet Creation, Payroll Calculation, Payroll Confirmation, Print Advice forms, and Create Direct Deposit File. The benchmark metric is the cumulative elapsed time taken to complete the Paysheet Creation, Payroll Calculation and Payroll Confirmation business application processes. The benchmark metrics are taken for each respective benchmark while running simultaneously on the same database back-end. Specifically, the payroll batch processes are started when the online workload reaches steady state (the maximum number of online users) and overlap with online transactions for the duration of the steady state. Key Points and Best Practices Two Oracle PeopleSoft Domain sets with 200 application servers each on a SPARC T4-4 server were hosted in 2 separate Oracle Solaris Zones to demonstrate consolidation of multiple application servers, ease of administration and performance tuning. Each Oracle Solaris Zone was bound to a separate processor set, each containing 15 cores (total 120 threads). The default set (1 core from first and third processor socket, total 16 threads) was used for network and disk interrupt handling. This was done to improve performance by reducing memory access latency by using the physical memory closest to the processors and offload I/O interrupt handling to default set threads, freeing up cpu resources for Application Servers threads and balancing application workload across 240 threads. • Using WPF and SlimDx (DirectX 10/11)

    - by slurmomatic
    I am using SlimDX with WinForms for a while now, but want to make the switch to WPF now. However, I can't figure out how to get DX10/11 working with WPF. The February release of SlimDX provides a WPF example, which only works with DX 9 though. I found the following solution: http://jmorrill.hjtcentral.com/Home/tabid/428/EntryId/437/Direct3D-10-11-Direct2D-in-WPF.aspx but can't get it to work with SlimDX. My main problem is the shared resource handle as I don't know how to retrieve the shared handle from a SlimDX texture. I can't find any information to this topic. In C++ the code looks like this: HRESULT D3DImageEx::GetSharedHandle(IUnknown *pUnknown, HANDLE * pHandle) { HRESULT hr = S_OK; *pHandle = NULL; IDXGIResource* pSurface; if (FAILED(hr = pUnknown->QueryInterface(__uuidof(IDXGIResource), (void**)&pSurface))) return hr; hr = pSurface->GetSharedHandle(pHandle); pSurface->Release(); return hr; } Basically, what I want to do (because I think that this is the solution), is to share a texture between a Direct3d9DeviceEx (for rendering the WPF D3DImage) and a Direct3d10Device (a texture render target for my scene). Any pointers in the right direction are greatly appreciated.

  • SAPI Speech recognition delphi

    - by XBasic3000
    I need create a programatic equivalent using delphi language... or could someone post a link on how to do grammars in peech recogniton using the delphi. sorry for my english... **Programmatic Equivalent C#:** Ref: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms723634(v=VS.85).aspx To add a phrase to a rule, SAPI provides an API called ISpGrammarBuilder::AddWordTransition. // By using a pipe delimiter, the entire phrase can be added // in one method call hr = cpRecoGrammar->AddWordTransition(hsHelloWorld, NULL, L"hiya|there", L"|", SPWT_LEXICAL, NULL, NULL); // Check hr // save/commit changes hr = cpRecoGrammar->Commit(NULL); // Check hr XML Grammar Sample(s): <GRAMMAR> <!-- Create a simple "hello world" rule --> <RULE NAME="HelloWorld" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P>hello world</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a more advanced "hello world" rule that changes the display form. • How do I use IImgCtx to get load an image with an alpha channel?

    - by fret
    I have some working code that uses IImgCtx to load images, but I can't work out how to get at the alpha channel. For images like .gif's and .png's there are transparent pixels, but using anything other than a 24-bit bitmap as a drawing surface doesn't work. For reference on the interface: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/graphics/JianImgCtxDecoder.aspx My code looks like this: IImgCtx *Ctx = 0; HRESULT hr = CoCreateInstance(CLSID_IImgCtx, NULL, CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER, IID_IImgCtx, (LPVOID*)&Ctx); if (SUCCEEDED(hr)) { GVariant Fn = Name; hr = Ctx->Load(Fn.WStr(), 0); if (SUCCEEDED(hr)) { SIZE Size = { -1, -1 }; ULONG State = 0; while (true) { hr = Ctx->GetStateInfo(&State, &Size, false); if (SUCCEEDED(hr)) { if ((State & IMGLOAD_COMPLETE) || (State & IMGLOAD_STOPPED) || (State & IMGLOAD_ERROR)) { break; } else { LgiSleep(1); } } else break; } if (Size.cx > 0 && Size.cy > 0 && pDC.Reset(new GMemDC)) { if (pDC->Create(Size.cx, Size.cy, 32)) { HDC hDC = pDC->StartDC(); if (hDC) { RECT rc = { 0, 0, pDC->X(), pDC->Y() }; Ctx->Draw(hDC, &rc); pDC->EndDC(); } } else pDC.Reset(); } } Ctx->Release(); Where "StartDC" basically wraps CreateCompatibleDC(NULL) and "EndDC" wraps DeleteDC, with appropriate SelectObjects for the HBITMAPS etc. And pDC-Create(x, y, bit_depth) calls CreateDIBSection(...DIB_RGB_COLORS...). So it works if I create a 24 bits/pixel bitmap but has no alpha to speak of, and it leaves the 32 bits/pixel bitmap blank. Now this interface apparently is used by Internet Explorer to load images, and obviously THAT supports transparency, so I believe that it's possible to get some level of alpha out of the interface. The question is how? (I also have fall back code that will call libpng/libjpeg/my .gif loader etc)

  • Windows Task Scheduler: IAction.QueryInterface() returns an error I cannot find a definition for

    - by Sascha
    Hello I am attempting to schedule a task (to open an .exe at a specific time) using C++ win32. But at one specific point I am getting an error, I have searched & searched to try & find the definition of this error but I cannot find it? Do you know what this error means: Hexadecimal: 80004003 Decimal: 2147500035 I wont post the whole function because its rather long (unless you may need it to determine the error context?). The code I am using (that causes the error) is the following: // QI for the executable task pointer. hr = action -> QueryInterface( IID_IExecAction, (void**) execAction ); action -> Release(); if( FAILED(hr) ) { printf("QueryInterface call failed for IExecAction: %x %X %u \n", hr, hr, hr ); rootFolder -> Release(); task -> Release(); CoUninitialize(); return false; } The output is: QueryInterface call failed for IExecAction: 80004003 80004003 2147500035

  • Select part of text in a tag

    - by atlantis
    The DOM structure looks like this (existing website ... cant modify it): <table> <tr><td> <br><hr size="1"><strong>some heading 1</strong><br> <br>some text 1<br> <br><hr size="1"><strong>some heading 2</strong><br> <br>some text 2<br> </td></tr> </table> I want to manipulate it so that it looks like this <table> <tr><td> <br><hr size="1"><strong>some heading 1</strong><br> <br>some text 1<br> </td></tr> <tr><td> <br><hr size="1"><strong>some heading 2</strong><br> <br>some text 2<br> </td></tr> </table> Using the solution posted here, I am able to get hold of the hr, strong, br tags and move them into new td elements. However, I am not able to get hold of "some text 1" since it is directly contained within the td and using .text() on td will give me both "some text 1" as well as "some text 2". Any idea?

  • CoInitialize fails in dll

    - by Quandary
    Question: I have the following program, which uses COM to use the Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) to take a text and output it as sound. Now it works fine as long as I have it in a .exe. When I load it as .dll, it fails. Why? I used dependencywalker, and saw the exe doesn't have MSVCR100D and ole32, so I loaded them like this: LoadLibraryA("MSVCR100D.DLL"); LoadLibraryA("ole32.dll"); but it didn't help... Any idea why ? #include <windows.h> #include <sapi.h> #include <cstdlib> int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { ISpVoice * pVoice = NULL; if (FAILED(::CoInitialize(NULL))) return FALSE; HRESULT hr = CoCreateInstance(CLSID_SpVoice, NULL, CLSCTX_ALL, IID_ISpVoice, (void **) &pVoice); if( SUCCEEDED( hr ) ) { hr = pVoice->Speak(L"Noobie was fragged by GSG9 Googlebot", 0, NULL); hr = pVoice->Speak(L"Test Test", 0, NULL); hr = pVoice->Speak(L"This sounds normal <pitch middle = '-10'/> but the pitch drops half way through", SPF_IS_XML, NULL ); pVoice->Release(); pVoice = NULL; } ::CoUninitialize(); return EXIT_SUCCESS; }

  • IIS URL Rewrite rule - Default document for subdirectories

    - by Antonio Bakula
    I would like create URL rewrite rule that will set default document for my virtual folders. eg. someting like this www.domain.com/en/ -> www.domain.com/en/index.aspx www.domain.com/hr/ -> www.domain.com/hr/index.aspx www.domain.com/de/ -> www.domain.com/de/index.aspx directories en, hr, de doesn't really exists on web server they are just markers for languange used in site used by home grown http module that will rewrite path with query params. Quick solution was define rule for every single lang, something like this : <rewrite> <rewriteMaps> <rewriteMap name="Langs"> <add key="/en" value="/en/index.aspx" /> <add key="/hr" value="/hr/index.aspx" /> <add key="/de" value="/de/index.aspx" /> </rewriteMap> </rewriteMaps> <rules> But I would really like solution that would not require changes in web.config and adding rewrite rule for every languange used on particular site. Thanks !

  • Get Confirm value in vb.net

    - by user1805641
    I have a hidden asp Button in a Repeater. In the VB.NET code behind I use the Rerpeater_ItemCommand to get the click event within the Repeater. There's a check if user is already recording a project. If yes and he wants to start a new one, a confirm box should appear asking "Are you sure?" How can I access the click value from confirm? <asp:Repeater ID="Repeater1" runat="server" OnItemCommand="Repeater1_ItemCommand"> <ItemTemplate> <div class="tile user_view user_<%# Eval("employeeName") %>"> <div class="tilesheight"></div> <div class="element"> <asp:Button ID="Button1" CssClass="hiddenbutton" runat="server" /> Index: <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("index") %>' /><br /> <hr class="hr" /> customer: <asp:Label ID="CustomerLabel" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("customer") %>' /><br /> <hr class ="hr" /> order: <asp:Label ID="OrderNoLabel" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("orderNo") %>' /><br /> <asp:Label ID="DescriptionLabel" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("description") %>' /><br /> <hr class="hr" /> </div> </div> </ItemTemplate> </asp:Repeater> code behind: If empRecs.Contains(projects.Item(index.Text).employeeID) Then 'Catch index of recording order i = empRecs.IndexOf(projects.Item(index.Text).employeeID) Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(Me.GetType, "confirm", "confirm('Order " & empRecs(i + 2) & " already recording. But the problem is, I don't want the confirmbox to appear every time the button is clicked. Only when empRecs conatins an employee. Thanks for helping

  • When are C++ macros beneficial?

    - by Motti
    The C preprocessor is justifiably feared and shunned by the C++ community. In-lined functions, consts and templates are usually a safer and superior alternative to a #define. The following macro: #define SUCCEEDED(hr) ((HRESULT)(hr) >= 0) is in no way superior to the type safe: inline bool succeeded(int hr) { return hr >= 0; } But macros do have their place, please list the uses you find for macros that you can't do without the preprocessor. Please put each use-cases in a seperate answer so it can be voted up and if you know of how to achieve one of the answers without the preprosessor point out how in that answer's comments.

    I'm stuck on how to write the test.php page result (after php has run) to a string: testFunctions.php: <?php function htmlify($html, $format){ if ($format == "print"){ $html = str_replace("<", "&lt;", $html); $html = str_replace(">", "&gt;", $html); $html = str_replace("&nbsp;", "&amp;nbsp;", $html); $html = nl2br($html); return $html; } }; $input = <<<HTML <div style="background color:#959595; width:400px;"> &nbsp;<br> input <b>text</b> <br>&nbsp; </div> HTML; function content($input, $mode){ if ($mode =="display"){ return $input; } else if ($mode =="source"){ return htmlify($input, "print"); }; }; function pagePrint($page){ $a = array( 'file_get_contents' => array($page), 'htmlify' => array($page, "print") ); foreach($a as $func=>$args){ $x = call_user_func_array($func, $args); $page .= $x; } return $page; }; $file = "test.php"; ?> test.php: <?php include "testFunctions.php"; ?> <br><hr>here is the rendered html:<hr> <?php $a = content($input, "display"); echo $a; ?> <br><hr>here is the source code:<hr> <?php $a = content($input, "source"); echo $a; ?> <br><hr>here is the source code of the entire page after the php has been executed:<hr> <div style="margin-left:40px; background-color:#ebebeb;"> <?php $a = pagePrint($file); echo $a; ?> </div> I'd like to keep all the php in the testFunctions.php file, so I can place simple function calls into templates for html emails. Thanks!

  • c/c++ how to convert short to char

    - by changed
    Hi I am using ms c++. I am using struct like struct header { unsigned port : 16; unsigned destport : 16; unsigned not_used : 7; unsigned packet_length : 9; }; struct header HR; here this value of header i need to put in separate char array. i did memcpy(&REQUEST[0], &HR, sizeof(HR)); but value of packet_length is not appearing properly. like if i am assigning HR.packet_length = 31; i am getting -128(at fifth byte) and 15(at sixth byte). if you can help me with this or if their is more elegant way to do this. thanks

  • HRESULT exception not caught in VS 2008

    - by arionik
    Hello all, I've got a stange situation in visual studio 2008 C++. I work on code that was originally written for visual studio 2003, where everything works well. Now, ported to VS 2008, the exception handling, which unfortuantely exists widely in the code, does not work anymore. standard code example: try { HRESULT hr = S_OK; // do stuff... if( FAILED( hr ) ) throw hr; } catch( HRESULT hr ) { // error handling, but we never get here } catch( ... ) { // ... not even here } Under VS 2008, no exception is encountered, but I get a crash somewhere else, indicating that the stack pointer must be screwed up. Did anybody come across this behaviour? Any help is appreciated.

    - by Umanga
    I passed first two technical interviews at a global e-commerce company for the position of Senior Software Engineer. I was told that there are two more interviews ,one with "Senior Development Exec" and another with "HR". 1) I am wondering what kind of questions I should expect during the interview with "Senior Development Exec"? Is is technical,high level architecture related ..etc? 2) During HR interviews,is it Ok to ask about the work-life balance and actual working hours?

    Hi, My company have two exchange 2010 SP1 servers with DAG configuration with OS widows server 2008 R2 in testing entironment. Today i want to test my backup possibility, so i restore the backup data to another location not original location. I dismount the database and then delete the all files under the database location. last I copy back the files from back up location to database location. When i want to mount the database. It will come out the below error! -------------------------------------------------------- Microsoft Exchange Error -------------------------------------------------------- Failed to mount database 'mail2'. mail2FailedError: Couldn't mount the database that you specified. • Run-Time Check Failure #2 - Stack around the variable 'indices' was corrupted.

    - by numerical25
    well I think I know what the problem is. I am just having a hard time debugging it. I am working with the directx api and I am trying to generate a plane along the x and z axis according to a book I have. The problem is when I am creating my indices. I think I am setting values out of the bounds of the indices array. I am just having a hard time figuring out what I did wrong. I am unfamiliar with the this method of generating a plane. so its a little difficult for me. below is my code. Take emphasis on the indices loop. #include "MyGame.h" //#include "CubeVector.h" /* This code sets a projection and shows a turning cube.
