  • iPad doesn't trigger resize event going from vertical to horizontal?

    - by dclowd9901
    Has anyone noticed this behavior? I'm trying to write a script that will trigger upon a resize. It works fine on normal browsers, works fine on iPhone, but on iPad, will only trigger going from horizontal to vertical viewport, not vice versa. Here's the code: $(window).resize( function() { var agent=navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase(); var is_iphone = ((agent.indexOf('iphone') != -1)); var is_ipad = ((agent.indexOf('ipad') != -1)); if(is_iphone || is_ipad){ location.reload(true); } else { /* Do stuff. */ }; });

  • Grab only 2 items from Jquery Loop

    - by Bry4n
    Here is my Jquery $th.each(function(idx) { var notSelected = $(this).text(); if ((notSelected.indexOf(to) != -1) || (notSelected.indexOf(from) != -1)) { if (idx < 10) { $(this).show(); // and show its corresponding td $td.eq(idx).show(); } } }); It is part of a tableFilter type function for a HTML table. However I want it to only display only 2 of the results. I tried instantiating some kind of index counter but I was unsuccessful. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

  • Switch statement for string matching in JavaScript

    - by yaya3
    How do I write a swtich for the following conditional? If the url contains "foo", then settings.base_url is "bar". The following is achieving the effect required but I've a feeling this would be more manageable in a switch: var doc_location = document.location.href; var url_strip = new RegExp("http:\/\/.*\/"); var base_url = url_strip.exec(doc_location) var base_url_string = base_url[0]; //BASE URL CASES // LOCAL if (base_url_string.indexOf('xxx.local') > -1) { settings = { "base_url" : "http://xxx.local/" }; } // DEV if (base_url_string.indexOf('xxx.dev.yyy.com') > -1) { settings = { "base_url" : "http://xxx.dev.yyy.com/xxx/" }; } Thanks

  • Linked lists in Java - help with assignment

  • DateTimeAxis - set Label to display Date + Time

    - by Jay
    Hi, Is there a way in flex 3 chart component to display both the date and time using horizontal DateTimeAxis? Currently the DateTimeAxis element has an attribute dataunits which allows to set the value to any of "milliseconds|seconds|minutes|hours|days|weeks|months|years" but I want to display the label as "2009/09/15 06:00:00" which includes the day and the time too. Here is the sample that i'm using [Bindable] public var deck:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection([ {date:"2009-09-15 06:00:00", close:42.71}, {date:"2009-09-16 06:15:00", close:42.99} ]); public function myParseFunction(s:String):Date { var sDate = s.substring(0,s.indexOf(" ")); var sTime = s.substring(s.indexOf(" ")); var aDate = sDate.split("-"); var aTime = sTime.split(":"); return new Date(aDate[0],(aDate[1]*1-1),aDate[2],aTime[0],aTime[1],aTime[2],0); } ]] Thanks in advance.

  • Setting selected item on Listbox in Silverlight - Windows Phone 7

    - by Fishcake
    I have a databound Listbox bound to a generic list as follows (Provider is a very simple class that just includes a single property (Name). ProviderList = new List<Provider>(); //Populate list Providers.ItemsSource = ProviderList; I can save the selected item with no problem but I can't manage to set the selected item from code afterwards. I am trying to do so as follows: int x = Providers.Items.IndexOf((Provider)_Settings["provider"]); However IndexOf() is always returning -1. If I inspect both Providers.Items[1] and _Setting["provider"] at runtime using the immediate window they both return {StoreRetrieveData.Provider} Name: "Greenflag" Am I doing something wrong (well clearly I am)?

  • InetAddress.getLocalHost() throws UnknownHostException

    - by jhwist
    Hi, I am testing our server-application (written Java) on different operating systems and thought that OpenSolaris (2008.11) would be the least troublesome due to the nice Java integration. Turns out I was wrong, as I end up with a UnknownHostException try { computerName = InetAddress.getLocalHost().getHostName(); if (computerName.indexOf(".") > -1) computerName = computerName.substring(0, computerName.indexOf(".")).toUpperCase(); } catch (UnknownHostException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } The output is: java.net.UnknownHostException: desvearth01: desvearth01 at java.net.InetAddress.getLocalHost(InetAddress.java:1353) However, nslookup desvearth01 returns the correct IP address, and nslookup localhost returns 127.0.0.1 as expected. Also, the same code works perfectly on FreeBSD. Is there anything special to OpenSolaris that I am not aware of? Any hints appreciated, thanks.

  • RegEx replace query to pick out wiki syntax

    - by Jeremy Thake
    I've got a string of HTML that I need to grab the "[Title|http://www.test.com]" pattern out of e.g. "dafasdfasdf, adfasd. [Test|http://www.test.com/] adf ddasfasdf [SDAF|http://www.madee.com/] assg ad" I need to replace "[Title|http://www.test.com]" this with "Title". What is the best away to approach this? I was getting close with: string test = "dafasdfasdf adfasd [Test|http://www.test.com/] adf ddasfasdf [SDAF|http://www.madee.com/] assg ad "; string p18 = @"(\[.*?|.*?\])"; MatchCollection mc18 = Regex.Matches(test, p18, RegexOptions.Singleline | RegexOptions.IgnoreCase); foreach (Match m in mc18) { string value = m.Groups[1].Value; string fulltag = value.Substring(value.IndexOf("["), value.Length - value.IndexOf("[")); Console.WriteLine("text=" + fulltag); } There must be a cleaner way of getting the two values out e.g. the "Title" bit and the url itself. Any suggestions?

Write what is the time complexity and space complexity of every method that you wrote. Make sure the methods you wrote are effective. It is NOT allowed to use ready classes of Java. It is NOT allowed to move to string and use string operations. 1) public int indexOf (int ch) - returns the index in the string it is operated on of the first appeareance of the char "ch". If the char "ch" doesn't appear in the string, returns -1. If the value of fromIndex isn't in the range, returns -1. Here is my try : public int indexOf (int ch) { int count = 0; charNode pos = _head; if (pos == null ) { return -1; } for (pos = _head; pos!=null && pos.getData()!=ch; pos = pos.getNext()) { count = count + pos.getValue(); } if (pos==null) return -1; return count; } Time complexity = O(N) Space complexity = O(1) EDIT : I have a problem. I tested it in BlueJ and if the char ch doesn't appear it returns -1 but if it does, it always returns 0 and I don't understand why... I am confused. How can the compiler know that the value is the number of times the letter appears consecutively? Can I assume this because its given on the question or what? If it's true and I can assume this, then my code should be correct right? Ok I just spoke with my instructor and she said it isn't required to write it in the exercise but in order for me to test that it indeed works, I need to open a new class and write a code for making a list so that the the value of every node is the number of times the letter appears consecutively. Can someone please assist me? So I will copy+paste to BlueJ and this way I will be able to test all the methods. Meanwhile I am moving on to the next methods. 2) public int indexOf (int ch, int fromIndex) - returns the index in the string it is operated on of the first appeareance of the char "ch", as the search begins in the index "fromIndex". If the char "ch" doesn't appear in the string, returns -1. If the value of fromIndex doesn't appear in the range, returns -1. Here is my try: public int indexOf (int ch, int fromIndex) { int count = 0, len=0, i; charNode pos = _head; CharNode cur = _head; for (pos = _head; pos!=null; pos = pos.getNext()) { len = len+1; } if (fromIndex<0 || fromIndex>=len) return -1; for (i=0; i<fromIndex; i++) { cur = cur.getNext(); } if (cur == null ) { return -1; } for (cur = _head; cur!=null && cur.getData()!=ch; cur = cur.getNext()) { count = count + cur.getValue(); } if (cur==null) return -1; return count; } Time complexity = O(N) ? Space complexity = O(1) 3) public StringList concat (String str) - returns a string that consists of the string that it is operated on and in its end the string "str" is concatenated. Here is my try : public StringList concat (String str) { String str = ""; charNode pos = _head; if (str == null) return -1; for (pos = _head; pos!=null; pos = pos.getNext()) { str = str + pos.getData(); } str = str + "str"; return str; } Time complexity = O(N) Space complexity = O(1)

  • Can I detect unused extra parameters passed to javascript methods?

    - by Pablojim
    In Javascript I can call any method with more than the necessary amount of parameters and the extra parameters are silently ignored. e.g. letters = ['a','b','c'] //correct letters.indexOf('a') //This also works without error or warning letters.indexOf('a', "blah", "ignore me", 38) Are there ways to detect cases where this occurs? My motivation is that in my experience cases where this occurs are usually bugs. Identification of these by code analysis or at runtime would help track these errors down. These cases are especially prevalent where people are expecting alterations to base types which may not have occurred. Logging a warning where this happens e.g. Date.parse('02--12--2012', 'dd--MM--YYYY') Notes: To be clear I would like a solution that doesn't involve me sprinkling checks all over my code and other peoples' code.

  • If Else Conditionals within Function in JavaScript

    - by Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier
    I'm having issues with conditionals. I want to return the index where pattern starts in string (or -1 if not found). The search is to be case sensitive if the 3rd parameter is true otherwise it is case insensitive. Examples index("abAB12","AB",true) returns 2 but index("abAB12","AB",false) returns 0 index("abAB12","BA",true) returns -1 and index("abAB12","BA",false) returns 1 Any idea how I can accomplish this? This is my code so far var s = "abAB12" var p = "AB" var cs = true function index(string, pattern, caseSensitive) { if (pattern) { var found = false; if (caseSensitive = false) { if (string.indexOf(pattern.) >= 0) { found = true; } return (found); else { return (""); } } else if (caseSensitive = true) { if (string.toLowerCase().indexOf(pattern.toLowerCase()) >= 0) { found = true; } return (found); } else { return (""); } } } alert(index(s, p, cs)); Fiddle at http://jsfiddle.net/AfDFb/1/

    - by Ben
    I have a large piece of text in which there is something simular to this: !#_KT_#!COMMANDHERE!#_KT_#! I want, in VB.Net, to get the 'COMMANDHERE' part of the string, how would I go about doing this? I have this so far: Dim temp As String = WebBrowser1.Document.Body.ToString Dim startIndex As Integer = temp.IndexOf("!#__KT__#!") + 1 Dim endIndex As Integer = temp.IndexOf("!#__KT__#!", startIndex) Dim extraction As String = temp.Substring(startIndex, endIndex - startIndex).Trim TextBox1.Text = extraction However this only removes the LAST string eg: #_KT_#! COMMAND. Any help is appreciated!

    My coding isnt linking properly , its meant to use jquery to detect the OS and change the link accordingly , however it isn't. In my HTML page I have it linked in the header as <script src="jsquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> which loads up my jsquery now $(document).ready(function() { if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Win") != -1) { // Computers runs windows $("a[href$='.pdf']").each(function() { this.href = this.href.replace("Volumes", "KP01DS0194TG"); }); } if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Mac") != -1) { // computer is a Mac $("a[href$='.pdf']").each(function() { this.href = this.href.replace("KP01DS0194TG", "Volumes"); }); } }); Yet on Mac's it still tries to connect to KP01DS0194TG and not to Volumes - it doesnt change it - how can I get it to recognize the OS and change it accordingly?

  • How to get a List ordered by the List it's filtered by?

    - by DaveDev
    I have a method as follows. It returns a list of MyTypes which appear to be ordered by myType.Id ascending by default. public List<MyType> GetMyTypes(List<int> ids) { return (from myType in db.MyTypes where ids.Contains(myType.Id) select new MyType { MyValue = myType.MyValue }).ToList(); } So if ids contains 302 300 301 the List returned contains items in ascending order. What do I need to do to return List<MyType> in the order of ids? Thanks edit: I've tried orderby ids.IndexOf(myType.Id) but it throws the exception Method 'Int32 IndexOf(Int32)' has no supported translation to SQL.

If you're a bit like me probably you've been wondering how on earth some people ever get hired as a software engineer. Most of the stories there seem to weird to be true: no developer would write software like that right? And then you run into a little nugget of code one of your co-workers wrote. And then you realize: "Hey, it happens everywhere!" Look at this piece of art I found in our codebase recently: public static decimal ToDecimal(this string input) {     System.Globalization.CultureInfo cultureInfo = System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InstalledUICulture;     var numberFormatInfo = (System.Globalization.NumberFormatInfo)cultureInfo.NumberFormat.Clone();     int dotIndex = input.IndexOf(".");     int commaIndex = input.IndexOf(",");     if (dotIndex > commaIndex)         numberFormatInfo.NumberDecimalSeparator = ".";     else if (commaIndex > dotIndex)         numberFormatInfo.NumberDecimalSeparator = ",";     decimal result;     if (decimal.TryParse(input, System.Globalization.NumberStyles.Float, numberFormatInfo, out result))         return result;     else         throw new Exception(string.Format("Invalid input for decimal parsing: {0}. Decimal separator: {1}.", input, numberFormatInfo.NumberDecimalSeparator)); }  Me and a collegue have been looking long and hard at this and what we concluded was the following: Apparently, we don't trust our users to be able to correctly set the culture in Windows. Users aren't able to determine if they should tell Windows to use a decimal point or a comma to display numbers. So what we've done here is make sure that whatever the user enters, we'll translate that into whatever the user WANTS to enter instead of what he actually did. So if you set your locale to US, since you're a US citizen, but you want to enter the number 12.34 in the Dutch style (because, you know, the Dutch are way cooler with numbers) so you enter 12,34 we will understand this and respect your wishes! Of course, if you change your mind and in the next input field you decide to use the decimal dot again, that's fine with us as well. We will do the hard work. Now, I am all for smart software. Software that can handle all sorts of input the user can think of. But this feels a little uhm, I don't know.. wrong.. Or am I too old fashioned?

  • IndexOutOfRangeException on World.Step after enabling/disabling a Farseer physics body?

    - by WilHall
    Earlier, I posted a question asking how to swap fixtures on the fly in a 2D side-scroller using Farseer Physics Engine. The ultimate goal being that the player's physical body changes when the player is in different states (I.e. standing, walking, jumping, etc). After reading this answer, I changed my approach to the following: Create a physical body for each state when the player is loaded Save those bodies and their corresponding states in parallel lists Swap those physical bodies out when the player state changes (which causes an exception, see below) The following is my function to change states and swap physical bodies: new protected void SetState(object nState) { //If mBody == null, the player is being loaded for the first time if (mBody == null) { mBody = mBodies[mStates.IndexOf(nState)]; mBody.Enabled = true; } else { //Get the body for the given state Body nBody = mBodies[mStates.IndexOf(nState)]; //Enable the new body nBody.Enabled = true; //Disable the current body mBody.Enabled = false; //Copy the current body's attributes to the new one nBody.SetTransform(mBody.Position, mBody.Rotation); nBody.LinearVelocity = mBody.LinearVelocity; nBody.AngularVelocity = mBody.AngularVelocity; mBody = nBody; } base.SetState(nState); } Using the above method causes an IndexOutOfRangeException when calling World.Step: mWorld.Step(Math.Min((float)nGameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalSeconds, (1f / 30f))); I found that the problem is related to changing the .Enabled setting on a body. I tried the above function without setting .Enabled, and there was no error thrown. Turning on the debug views, I saw that the bodies were updating positions/rotations/etc properly when the state was changes, but since they were all enabled, they were just colliding wildly with each other. Does Enabling/Disabling a body remove it from the world's body list, which then causes the error because the list is shorter than expected? Update: For such a straightforward issue, I feel this question has not received enough attention. Has anyone else experienced this? Would anyone try a quick test case? I know this issue can be sidestepped - I.e. by not disabling a body during the simulation - but it seems strange that this issue would exist in the first place, especially when I see no mention of it in the documentation for farseer or box2d. I can't find any cases of the issue online where things are more or less kosher, like in my case. Any leads on this would be helpful.

  • A* (A-star) implementation in AS3

    - by Bryan Hare
    Hey, I am putting together a project for a class that requires me to put AI in a top down Tactical Strategy game in Flash AS3. I decided that I would use a node based path finding approach because the game is based on a circular movement scheme. When a player moves a unit he essentially draws a series of line segments that connect that a player unit will follow along. I am trying to put together a similar operation for the AI units in our game by creating a list of nodes to traverse to a target node. Hence my use of Astar (the resulting path can be used to create this line). Here is my Algorithm function findShortestPath (startN:node, goalN:node) { var openSet:Array = new Array(); var closedSet:Array = new Array(); var pathFound:Boolean = false; startN.g_score = 0; startN.h_score = distFunction(startN,goalN); startN.f_score = startN.h_score; startN.fromNode = null; openSet.push (startN); var i:int = 0 for(i= 0; i< nodeArray.length; i++) { for(var j:int =0; j<nodeArray[0].length; j++) { if(!nodeArray[i][j].isPathable) { closedSet.push(nodeArray[i][j]); } } } while (openSet.length != 0) { var cNode:node = openSet.shift(); if (cNode == goalN) { resolvePath (cNode); return true; } closedSet.push (cNode); for (i= 0; i < cNode.dirArray.length; i++) { var neighborNode:node = cNode.nodeArray[cNode.dirArray[i]]; if (!(closedSet.indexOf(neighborNode) == -1)) { continue; } neighborNode.fromNode = cNode; var tenativeg_score:Number = cNode.gscore + distFunction(neighborNode.fromNode,neighborNode); if (openSet.indexOf(neighborNode) == -1) { neighborNode.g_score = neighborNode.fromNode.g_score + distFunction(neighborNode,cNode); if (cNode.dirArray[i] >= 4) { neighborNode.g_score -= 4; } neighborNode.h_score=distFunction(neighborNode,goalN); neighborNode.f_score=neighborNode.g_score+neighborNode.h_score; insertIntoPQ (neighborNode, openSet); //trace(" F Score of neighbor: " + neighborNode.f_score + " H score of Neighbor: " + neighborNode.h_score + " G_score or neighbor: " +neighborNode.g_score); } else if (tenativeg_score <= neighborNode.g_score) { neighborNode.fromNode=cNode; neighborNode.g_score=cNode.g_score+distFunction(neighborNode,cNode); if (cNode.dirArray[i]>=4) { neighborNode.g_score-=4; } neighborNode.f_score=neighborNode.g_score+neighborNode.h_score; openSet.splice (openSet.indexOf(neighborNode),1); //trace(" F Score of neighbor: " + neighborNode.f_score + " H score of Neighbor: " + neighborNode.h_score + " G_score or neighbor: " +neighborNode.g_score); insertIntoPQ (neighborNode, openSet); } } } trace ("fail"); return false; } Right now this function creates paths that are often not optimal or wholly inaccurate given the target and this generally happens when I have nodes that are not path able, and I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong right now. If someone could help me correct this I would appreciate it greatly. Some Notes My OpenSet is essentially a Priority Queue, so thats how I sort my nodes by cost. Here is that function function insertIntoPQ (iNode:node, pq:Array) { var inserted:Boolean=true; var iterater:int=0; while (inserted) { if (iterater==pq.length) { pq.push (iNode); inserted=false; } else if (pq[iterater].f_score >= iNode.f_score) { pq.splice (iterater,0,iNode); inserted=false; } ++iterater; } } Thanks!

  • Astar implementation in AS3

    - by Bryan Hare
    Hey, I am putting together a project for a class that requires me to put AI in a top down Tactical Strategy game in Flash AS3. I decided that I would use a node based path finding approach because the game is based on a circular movement scheme. When a player moves a unit he essentially draws a series of line segments that connect that a player unit will follow along. I am trying to put together a similar operation for the AI units in our game by creating a list of nodes to traverse to a target node. Hence my use of Astar (the resulting path can be used to create this line). Here is my Algorithm function findShortestPath (startN:node, goalN:node) { var openSet:Array = new Array(); var closedSet:Array = new Array(); var pathFound:Boolean = false; startN.g_score = 0; startN.h_score = distFunction(startN,goalN); startN.f_score = startN.h_score; startN.fromNode = null; openSet.push (startN); var i:int = 0 for(i= 0; i< nodeArray.length; i++) { for(var j:int =0; j<nodeArray[0].length; j++) { if(!nodeArray[i][j].isPathable) { closedSet.push(nodeArray[i][j]); } } } while (openSet.length != 0) { var cNode:node = openSet.shift(); if (cNode == goalN) { resolvePath (cNode); return true; } closedSet.push (cNode); for (i= 0; i < cNode.dirArray.length; i++) { var neighborNode:node = cNode.nodeArray[cNode.dirArray[i]]; if (!(closedSet.indexOf(neighborNode) == -1)) { continue; } neighborNode.fromNode = cNode; var tenativeg_score:Number = cNode.gscore + distFunction(neighborNode.fromNode,neighborNode); if (openSet.indexOf(neighborNode) == -1) { neighborNode.g_score = neighborNode.fromNode.g_score + distFunction(neighborNode,cNode); if (cNode.dirArray[i] >= 4) { neighborNode.g_score -= 4; } neighborNode.h_score=distFunction(neighborNode,goalN); neighborNode.f_score=neighborNode.g_score+neighborNode.h_score; insertIntoPQ (neighborNode, openSet); //trace(" F Score of neighbor: " + neighborNode.f_score + " H score of Neighbor: " + neighborNode.h_score + " G_score or neighbor: " +neighborNode.g_score); } else if (tenativeg_score <= neighborNode.g_score) { neighborNode.fromNode=cNode; neighborNode.g_score=cNode.g_score+distFunction(neighborNode,cNode); if (cNode.dirArray[i]>=4) { neighborNode.g_score-=4; } neighborNode.f_score=neighborNode.g_score+neighborNode.h_score; openSet.splice (openSet.indexOf(neighborNode),1); //trace(" F Score of neighbor: " + neighborNode.f_score + " H score of Neighbor: " + neighborNode.h_score + " G_score or neighbor: " +neighborNode.g_score); insertIntoPQ (neighborNode, openSet); } } } trace ("fail"); return false; } Right now this function creates paths that are often not optimal or wholly inaccurate given the target and this generally happens when I have nodes that are not path able, and I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong right now.   • Creating an element and insertBefore is not working...

    - by sologhost
    Ok, I've been banging my head up against the wall on this and I have no clue why it isn't creating the element. Maybe something very small that I overlooked here. Basically, there is this Javascript code that is in a PHP document being outputted, like somewhere in the middle of when the page gets loaded, NOW, unfortunately it can't go into the header. Though I'm not sure that that is the problem anyways, but perhaps it is... hmmmmm. // Setting the variables needed to be set. echo ' <script type="text/javascript" src="' . $settings['default_theme_url'] . '/scripts/dpShoutbox.js"></script>'; echo ' <script type="text/javascript"> var refreshRate = ', $params['refresh_rate'], '; createEventListener(window); window.addEventListener("load", loadShouts, false); function loadShouts() { var alldivs = document.getElementsByTagName(\'div\'); var shoutCount = 0; var divName = "undefined"; for (var i = 0; i<alldivs.length; i++) { var is_counted = 0; divName = alldivs[i].getAttribute(\'name\'); if (divName.indexOf(\'dp_Reserved_Shoutbox\') < 0 && divName.indexOf(\'dp_Reserved_Counted\') < 0) continue; else if(divName == "undefined") continue; else { if (divName.indexOf(\'dp_Reserved_Counted\') == 0) { is_counted = 0; shoutCount++; continue; } else { shoutCount++; is_counted = 1; } } // Empty out the name attr. alldivs[i].name = \'dp_Reserved_Counted\'; var shoutId = \'shoutbox_area\' + shoutCount; // Build the div to be inserted. var shoutHolder = document.createElement(\'div\'); shoutHolder.setAttribute(\'id\', [shoutId]); shoutHolder.setAttribute(\'class\', \'dp_control_flow\'); shoutHolder.style.cssText = \'padding-right: 6px;\'; alldivs[i].parentNode.insertBefore(shoutHolder, alldivs[i]); if (is_counted == 1) { startShouts(refreshRate, shoutId); break; } } } </script>'; Also, I'm sure the other functions that I'm linking to within these functions work just fine. The problem here is that within this function, the div never gets created at all and I can't understand why? Furthermore Firefox, FireBug is telling me that the variable divName is undefined, even though I have attempted to take care of this within the function, though not sure why. Anyways, I need the created div element to be inserted just before the following HTML: echo ' <div name="dp_Reserved_Shoutbox" style="padding-bottom: 9px;"></div>'; I'm using name here instead of id because I don't want duplicate id values which is why I'm changing the name value and incrementing, since this function may be called more than 1 time. For example if there are 3 shoutboxes on the same page (Don't ask why...lol), I need to skip the other names that I already changed to "dp_Reserved_Counted", which I believe I am doing correctly. In any case, if I could I would place this into the header and have it called just once, but this isn't possible as these are loaded and no way of telling which one's they are, so it's directly hard-coded into the actual output on the page of where the shoutbox is within the HTML. Basically, not sure if that is the problem or not, but there must be some sort of work-around, unless the problem is within my code above... arrg Please help me. Thanks :)
