• I am looking for an actual functional web browser type control for .NET, maybe a C++ LIBRARY#$??$?

  I am trying to emulate a web browser in order to execute JavaScript code and then parse the DOM. The System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser object does not give me the functionality I need. It let's me set the headers, but you cannot set the proxy or clear cookies. Well you can, but it is not ideal and messes with IE's settings. I've been extending the WebBrowser control pinvoking native windows functions so far, but it is really one hack on top of another. I can mess with the proxy and also clear cookies and such, but this control has its issues as I mentioned. I found something called WebKit .NET (http://webkitdotnet.sourceforge.net/), but I don't see support for setting proxies or cookie manipulation. Can someone recommend a c++/.NET/whatever library to do this: Basically tell me what I need to do to get an interface to similar this in .NET: string FetchBrowserParsedHtml(Uri url, WebProxy p, int timeoutSeconds, byte[] headers, byte[] postdata); void ClearCookies(); I am not responsible for my actions.

  Hello, To keep things simple, please allow the "assumption" that some code requires the use of a full URL, even though the domain is on the same server, i.e. a simple file path cannot be used. TCP/IP?? Question: If a form action target = "http://this-full-URL.com/postdata" (for example) and that URL is also on the same server, then which happens first? A) Data is sent "out onto the web", and then returns to the same server, or B) Before sending any (possibly sensitive) data, the server (Linux, Apache, PHP), first "discovers" the target address is local, so (clearly) no data is sent over the net?   We are using an application made in GWT with the server as tomcat. The project runs fine normally, however there are situations where the server is restarted.   What I have? I have normal web application and it has 3 site collections with name, "PDirectory". Other than this I have only Central administration web application in the farm. What I want? I want to delete that web application, "PDirectory". What problem am I facing? I am not able to delete the web application. I get below error when I try to delete it but, the site collections got deleted! • Weblogic 10.0: SAMLSignedObject.verify() failed to validate signature value

  I've been having this problem for a while and it's driving me nuts. I'm trying to create a client (in C# .NET 2.0) that will use SAML 1.1 to sign on to a WebLogic 10.0 server (i.e., a Single Sign-On scenario, using browser/post profile). The client is on a WinXP machine and the WebLogic server is on a RHEL 5 box. I based my client largely on code in the example here: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/DotNetSamlPost.aspx (the source has a section for SAML 1.1). I set up WebLogic based on instructions for SAML Destination Site from here:http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/dev2arch/2006/12/sso-with-saml4.html I created a certificate using makecert that came with VS 2005. makecert -r -pe -n "CN=whatever" -b 01/01/2010 -e 01/01/2011 -sky exchange whatever.cer -sv whatever.pvk pvk2pfx.exe -pvk whatever.pvk -spc whatever.cer -pfx whatever.pfx Then I installed the .pfx to my personal certificate directory, and installed the .cer into the WebLogic SAML Identity Asserter V2. I read on another site that formatting the response to be readable (ie, adding whitespace) to the response after signing would cause this problem, so I tried various combinations of turning on/off .Indent XMLWriterSettings and turning on/off .PreserveWhiteSpace when loading the XML document, and none of it made any difference. I've printed the SignatureValue both before the message is is encoded/sent and after it arrives/gets decoded, and they are the same. So, to be clear: the Response appears to be formed, encoded, sent, and decoded fine (I see the full Response in the WebLogic logs). WebLogic finds the certificate I want it to use, verifies that a key was supplied, gets the signed info, and then fails to validate the signature.   I'm getting a FormatException telling me the address '[email protected]' is invalid (I'm guessing because of the '-'). On Snow leopard, the library seems to automatically pick up the cookie for this site and later connections sent out is set with correct "cookie" headers. But on leopard, it doesn't work that way, so is that a trigger for this "remember the cookie for certain root url" behavior?   I have a problem with IE causing two errors: 1. Object doesn't support this property or method 2. Call was rejected by callee. My Intention: To call window.opener.myObject method that is going to retrieve some data using ajax and pass in callback function that live as nested function in popup window that initiated call that is going to handle response data and modify popup window html accordingly. Here is a scenario: I pull up popup window that handles some specific operation. This popup window calling window.opener.myObject method that using ajax call. I'm passing in popup window function that is going to handle response and it works with ff and safari but not with ie.   I have an MFC DocView SDI App that receives data from either the clipboard or drag and drop. The data is in either CF_HDROP or CF_TEXT format. I have a COleDropTarget derived CMyDropTarget member m_dropTarget of my CMainFrame class. I have two member functions of CMyDropTarget; OnDrop(...) and OnPaste() which each call another member function PostData(pDataObject). I want to get a copy of the pDataObject from either CF_... format and PostMessage to my CmainFrame which will call a member of my Doc class. What is a simple way of getting a copy of the global data to pass with the PostMessage() so that I can get the drop source released before I get around to processing the global data? NOTE that they are always treated as a copy of the source data, so there is no need for the source to delete anything when the operation is done. Or perhaps a better way of asking the question is: How can I release the Drop source before processing the global data? Can I pass the HGLOBAL via PostMessage and still release the source without making a copy of it?

• I am looking for an actual functional web browser control for .NET, maybe a C++ library

  I am trying to emulate a web browser in order to execute JavaScript code and then parse the DOM. The System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser object does not give me the functionality I need. It let's me set the headers, but you cannot set the proxy or clear cookies. Well you can, but it is not ideal and messes with IE's settings. I've been extending the WebBrowser control pinvoking native windows functions so far, but it is really one hack on top of another. I can mess with the proxy and also clear cookies and such, but this control has its issues as I mentioned. I found something called WebKit .NET (http://webkitdotnet.sourceforge.net/), but I don't see support for setting proxies or cookie manipulation.   I'm making a webpage using CherryPy for the server-side, HTML, CSS and jQuery on the client-side. I'm also using a mySQL database. I have a working form for users to sign up to the site - create a username and password. I use jQuery to send an AJAX POST request to the CherryPy which queries the database to see if that username exists. If the username exists, alert the user, if it doesn't, add it to the database and alert success. $.post('submit', postdata, function(data) { alert(data); }); Successful jQuery POST. I want to change the form so that instead of checking that the username exists on submit, a GET request is made as on the blur event from the username input.
