It should report the number of rows with the same values for (green.h.0, green.v.0, and offset.0) by only looking at the previous rows. The example above uses the expected values, but assume they are incorrect. How can I add a new column (say "count") which will count all previous rows which have the same values of the specified variables? I have gotten help on a similar problem of just selecting all rows with the same values for specified columns, so I supposed I could just write a loop around that, but it seems inefficient to me.

    I am trying to get a turret to rotate on an arc, and have hit a wall. I have 8 possible starting orientations for the turrets, and want them to rotate on a 90 degree arc. I currently take the starting rotation of the turret, and then from that derive the positive, and negative boundary of the arc. because of engine restrictions (Unity) I have to do all of my tests against a value which is between [0,360], and due to numerical precision issues I can not test against specific values.   • NFS v4, HA Migration, and stale handles on clients

    I'm managing a server running NFS v4 with Pacemaker/OpenAIS. NFS is configured to use TCP. When I migrate the NFS server to another node in the Pacemaker cluster, even though the metadata is persisted, connections from the clients 'hang' and eventually time out after 90 seconds. After that 90 seconds, the old mountpoint becomes 'stale' and the mounted files can no longer be accessed. The 90 second grace period seems to be part of the server configuration and not the client configuration. I see this message on the server: kernel: NFSD: starting 90-second grace period If I restart the NFS client on the client nodes after I migrate (unmounting and then remounting the share), then I don't experience the problem, but connections and file transfers still interrupted. Three questions: What is the 90 second grace period? What's it there for? How can I keep the files from going stale on the clients without restarting them after I migrate the NFS server to another node? Is it actually possible to migrate the NFS server without having large file uploads drop?

    i really need your advice folks since i'm experiencing some troubles with nginx & apache2 subdomains configs first of all, there's a site (say, site.com) and two subdomains (links.site.com and shop.site.com) whose files are physically located at the same level of FS hierarchy as the site.com itself my hoster has configured both apache and nginx by my request, but it still doesn't work as it used to both of subdomains point to the main page of site.com for some unknown and implicit (for me) reason :( my assumption is that's happen because site.com record is placed first in both configs?!.. please help me solve this out! Now each of these pieces of code run separately but I run multiple of these per domain per project(directory) but the code thinks for some reason that it is top level and its not so when you go to mydomain.com/something it works but if you go to mydomain.com/something/ you will get an error. No I have tested and figured out that nginx is stripping the "something" from the request/query so that when you go to mydomain.com/something/ the code thinks you are going to mydomain.com// how do I get nginx to stop removing this information? I'm looking for the most efficient solution for this problem, speed mainly. I don't think by the way that we will have memory issues. Also I would like to know if hashing is really a good solution because we will have to use 64 bit hashing solution to reduce the chance for a collision to less than 1% (we are having around 30000000 rows per aggregation). For example file 1: f1,f2,f3,v1,v2,v3,v4 a1,b1,c1,50,60,70,80 a3,b2,c4,60,60,80,90 file 2: f1,f2,f3,v1,v2,v3,v4 a1,b1,c1,30,50,90,40 a3,b2,c4,30,70,50,90 result: f1,f2,f3,v1,v2,v3,v4 a1,b1,c1,80,110,160,120 a3,b2,c4,90,130,130,180 algorithm that we thought until now: hashing (using concurentHashTable) merge sorting the files DB: using mysql or hadoop or redis. The solution needs to be able to handle Huge amount of data (each file more than two million rows) a better example: file 1 country,city,peopleNum england,london,1000000 england,coventry,500000 file 2: country,city,peopleNum england,london,500000 england,coventry,500000 england,manchester,500000 merged file: country,city,peopleNum england,london,1500000 england,coventry,1000000 england,manchester,500000 The key is: country,city. This is just an example, my real key is of size 6 and the data columns are of size 8 - total of 14 columns. We would like that the solution will be the fastest in regard of data processing.

  • LWJGL glRotatef() without rotating axes?

    Okay so, I noticed when you rotate around an axis, say you do this: glRotatef(90.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); That will rotate things 90 degrees around the x-axis. However, it also sort of rotates the y and z axes as well. So now the y-axis is pointing in and out of the screen, instead of up and down. So when I try to do stuff like this: glRotatef(90.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glRotatef(whatever, 0.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f); glRotatef(whatever2, 0.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f); The rotations around the y and z-axes end up not how I want them. I was wondering if there is any way I can sort of rotate just the axes back to their initial position after using glRotatef(), without rotating the object back. Or something like that, just so that when I rotate around the y-axis, it rotates around a vertical axis.

  • How can I install an old version of libc on 12.04 and is it safe to do so?

    I am building an application on 12.04 and I need to run it on an embedded device. The device has libc-2.8.90.so on it and my dev machine has libc-2.15.so on it. I would like to install libc-2.8.90 onto my dev machine and attempt to link it to my application. I have searched at the Ubuntu software centre for libc-2.8.90 but I cannot find anything resembling it. Is there a way to install this on my machine from command line?? Also will my system be safe having 2 installed versions of libc at the same time? Can it lead to any instability?

  • How can I avoid Windows 8.1 resetting my font size?

    I am using Windows 8.1 on my laptop, which has a 15.6" screen with resolution 1366x768. I measured the screen with a ruler and calculated its DPI, which is 101. Therefore, I have set the scaling to 105%. However, when I change to an external monitor, which is a huge one with resolution 1920x1080 and DPI 93, I need to change the scaling to 97% but when I change the DPI back and forth, my font sizes have get resetted. I prefer using font sizes 14 on my title bars, message boxes and icons and font sizes 13 on my palette titles, menus and tooltips. However, as my laptop screen is too small, in order to make my apps fit on screen, I use font sizes 12 on my title bars, message boxes and icons and font sizes 11 on my palette titles, menus and tooltips. I don't know why I can't resize the window to make it larger than my screen in Windows (but it is possible in Kubuntu), therefore, some parts of my apps cannot be shown with my preferred font size. I have tried changing both the DPI and the font size by using .reg files. However, on my laptop screen, after I applied the file, signed out and in, the DPI setting changed, but the font sizes were resetted to tiny, and I had to apply the same file, signed out and in again to get the correct font size. The situation is even worse on my external monitor. After I applied the file, signed out and in, both the DPI setting and the font sizes were resetted to their default values, which were 96 DPI (the physical DPI as measured by dividing the resolution by the physical size is 93) and font size 9, which is totally unacceptable. How can I write the .reg files such that the settings can be correctly applied with a single sign in?

  • Rotate and Save Image - C#

    Hello, I'm trying to rotate and save an image, along with returning a BitmapSource. I pass in the rotation value (90 or -90) and the full path to the image I want to rotate to the method shown here. It works fine if I start and stop my application between calling this method. however, if the application calls rotate multiple times the rotate only happens once. I know the original image must be cached in memory, because if I pass values 90, 180, 270 I see the rotations work. I want to be able to pass in a value of 90 or -90 and have that rotate and save the original image. How can I make the rotate work for each call? Is there a way to clear the cached value of the image? If I don't set the BitmapCacheOption to OnLoad, I am unable to transform and save the image since the image is "being used by another process". public BitmapImage Rotate(int val, string path) { //create a new image from existing file.   • How to determine which side of a 3D plane is showing?

    This is a 3d n00b question. I'm working on a WPF control which implements the basics of Silverlight's PerspectiveTransform feature, allowing a 2D plane to be rotated on any of the three axes. It works pretty well. However I'm a little stuck on the math required to determine whether or not the back of the plane is showing. My naive code for figuring that out now is: bool isBackShowing = Math.Abs(RotationX) > 90 && Math.Abs(RotationY) < 90; if (!isBackShowing) { isBackShowing = Math.Abs(RotationX) < 90 && Math.Abs(RotationY) > 90; } However, this fails when the rotation is between +-270 and +-360 on either axis. The underlying transform is using a Quaternion object to do the actual rotation, and that has nice Axis and Angle properties, so I'm guessing I could just use that if I knew how.
