  • Sending email with exim and external sender address

    I recently had an issue after upgrading my .net framework to 4.0 from 3.5, I did this because in 4.0 the SMTPClient finally sends a QUIT command to the SMTP server. (John clearly states on his web site that it's for 10.4 and 10.5, so this is entirely my fault, not at all his.) Does anyone know another way to prevent iCal from sending mail? Thanks.

    Hey, I have a bluetooth "headset" (it's more like a speaker with a microphone on it, but it registers as a headset) and I want to play music through it. I also want to play the same music through the "normal" speakers on the laptop. Is this possible? If so, is it possible to play two different streams on each speaker? Say if I wanted to DJ a party or something, I'd want to hear the upcoming song and mix it before sending it live.

    I have a problem with Dovecot + Postfix. My server is sending SPAM from the local user "dovecot", but my server is not configured as an open relay (mails can be sent without auth-ing only from localhost). Also, nobody except me, has SSH access to the server. How can I find what exactly is triggering all those SPAM mails? How can I get something like a backtrace that shows what exactly happened the moments before a SPAM email got in the queue of postfix? Regards

Server software is Exim / Dovecot / cPanel. Do you have any ideeas why there is a slow sending process? Thank you!
