    hi, I have an aspx page on which I have 2 static jquery tabs.Upon clicking on a button avaiable on one of these tabs,I would like to add a new tab dynamically,which gets its content loaded from another aspx page.I've also tried with the following sample http://jquery-ui.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/demos/tabs/manipulation.html I've downloaded jquery-ui-1.8rc3.custom zip file and tried to add the above page with the relevant script,css files to my asp.net website and run,but it does not seem to work.Also I do not want to have a dialog opening and asking the user to enter the tab title as in the above sample.     On Windows XP, you could go to Folder Options - File Types, select PNG, create a new action, such as this Action: Crush Application: "F:\Programs\PNGCrush\crush.bat" "%1" So you can right click on a .png file and select Crush. How do you do this on Windows 7? I assume through regedit or .reg file, but how? EDIT: Thank you for all your replies... but I'd like to avoid "Open With" or 3rd party program if possible.

    I've started to convert my DVD collection to Ogg Video (OGV) and it works so far quite good. However, I heard that I can embed the subtitles inside the OGV-file as well. How can I do this on Linux? On Windows there are several applications but on Linux not so much. Any examples would be appreciated. Edit: I have the original VOB of course. PS. No, I don't give out my movies. Don't even ask. I paid for them, not you. :)

I tried public static class TraceListenerExtensions { public static void TraceVerbose(this Trace trace) {} } but nothing is being exposed on the trace instance being passed in :(

Trace complete. I'm doing all this via RDP and already tried changing the metric on the persistent rule with devastating consequences!   • How to add in in appendix page numbers separately from the regular heading page numbers

    I had regular page numbers on my Microsoft Word 2007 document at the bottom center of my page, starting from 1 from Insert tab Page Number Bottom of page Plain Number 2. I added an appendix with Heading 6 and followed the instructions from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290953 to create separate page numbers just for the appendix, i.e. A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, etc. The Page Number Format configuration I did is here: ]When I try to set this however, it changes all of the page numbers to this format, even the ones that aren't from heading 6 (meaning it changes the non-appendix content to this page number format). Here's another example: 1 Heading1 has page number A-4 (note it starts at A-1 at the title page) ... Appendix A has page number A-12 I would like to change it so that 1 Heading1 has page number 4 (note it starts at 1 at the title page) ... Appendix A has page number A-1 Anyone know why this is happening? Thank you!!

    I picked up an ASUS EEE 1101HA with Windows 7 and installed UBUNTU 10.04 Netbook Remix (dual boot). Ubuntu runs fine, but it doesn't recognize that the notebook LCD is 1388x768 and thus only offers 1024x768 and 800x600 as monitor resolution. So .. how can I tell it about that higher resolution? (Have root pwd & vi, una-bash-ed to use both.. ) UPDATE there is currently (early May 2010) no video-driver for the Intel GMA500 "Poulsbo" => no solution exists for now.

    I've recently upgraded my computer from Vista Home Premium 64-bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I've re-installed VS 2008 web express, and re-installed all the silver light sdk's, tools, etc. But now when I want to add a Silverlight Navigation Page, it is not avialble to me in the list of items that can be added. The navigation dll is installed, as my project existed before the OS upgrade. The program still runs just fine as is, but I want to add another navigation page item to the project, and I'm stumped for how to do it. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

I know we can create each folders/subfolders manually and add each file, but any quick way to do this on visual studio 2005? Updated: Thank you for the reply, but I do not want the folders to be added under any project, It should appear as a separate node inside my solution, like any other project. In this case the show all files does not work, since the solution itself does not have any folder, it is only if we select any project it works. I know we can create each folders/subfolders manually and add each file, but any quick way, because there are few hundreds of files.

What's the proper way of installing the required dictionaries? I believe we're running this on CentOS. If the subclass defines a method named 'get' I want to add a method alias 'GET' to the dictionary of the subclass. To not repeat myself I'd like to define this modifation routine in the base class. But if I check in the base class init method, there is no such method, since it is defined in the subclass. It will become more clear with some source code: class Base: def __init__(self): if hasattr(self, "get"): setattr(self, "GET", self.get) class Sub(Base): def get(): pass print(dir(Sub)) Output: ['__doc__', '__init__', '__module__', 'get'] It should also contain 'GET'. I want to test for the existence of a column in a table, then if it doesn't exist add the column with a default value, and finally update that column based on the current value of a different column in the same table. I want this script to be runnable multiple times, the first time updating the table and on subsequent runs the script should be ignored.     I recently upgraded from Office 2007 to 2010, and that went fairly smoothly. However, afterwards, my Calibri font was gone, so my Word and Outlook started using the next available font in the list... Comic Sans! I browsed to Control Panel Fonts, and saw that there was no longer a Calibri listing. I know that one way to recover a missing font is to just copy the missing font files from another computer. In my case, the four files I needed were: calibri.ttf, //regular calibrib.ttf, //bold calibrii.ttf, //italics calibriz.ttf, //bold and italics However, once I attempted to copy-and-paste these files to my computer, I realized these files were already on my problem computer; they never really got erased. I don't know why they aren't working in Office, and they aren't listed in Control Panel Fonts.

  • cannot add a user to sysadmin role in SQL Server

    I am using SQL Server 2008 Management Studio. The current logon account belongs to machine local administrator group. I am using Windows Integrated Security mode in SQL Server 2008. My issue is, after log into SQL Server Management Studio, I select my login name under Security/Logins, then select Server Roles Tab, then select the last item -- sysadmin to make myself belong to this group/role, but it says I do not have enough permission. Any ideas what is wrong? I think local administrator should be able to do anything. :-)

The problem i am facing in short is that i want to add UITabBar Control to my iphone application other than the main screen. Let me explain, I have done everything successfully Added UItabbar control from IB in the main window's xib, added a variable at the back end , associated it by dragging the line. Also added a UIWindow variable and wrote these lines . [window addSubview:tabBarController.view]; [window makeKeyAndVisible]; when i launch the application a blank window appears and tab bar shows on its bottom. But the problem i dont want to add it to a particular window which is inside my app. Its no the first screen of my app. Its actually the 3rd screen of my app. Can anybody help ? thanks Taimur

Thats not much of an issue since its only an hour from my home time, but my partner also took photos, but she was smart enough to adjust the time, so when merged together the overlap is annoying.     Does writeToFile:atomically, add data to an existing .plist? Is it possible to modify a value in a .plist ? SHould the app be recompiled to take effect the change? I have a custom .plist list in my app. The structure is as below: <array> <dict> <key>Title</key> <string>MyTitle</string> <key>Measurement</key> <dict> <key>prop1</key> <real>28.86392</real> <key>prop2</key> <real>75.12451</real> </dict> <key>Distance</key> <dict> <key>prop3</key> <real>37.49229</real> <key>prop4</key> <real>58.64502</real> </dict> </dict> </array> The array tag holds multiple items with same structure. I need to add items to the existing .plist. Is that possible? I can write a UIView to do just that, if so. *EDIT - OK, I just tried to writetofile hoping it would atleast overwrite if not add to it. Strangely, the following code selects different path while reading and writing. NSString *rootPath = [NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES) objectAtIndex:0]; The .plist file is in my project. I can read from it. When I write to it, it is creating a .plist file and saving it in my /users/.../library/! Does this make sense to anyone?
