  How to force Tomcat to save logged users, so that the they kept logged in even after Tomcat has restarted? Right now the user has to login again everytime. • Why download popup window in browser not showing up when using JAX-RS v.s. standard servlet?

  When I try using standard servlet approach, in my browser the popup window shows up asking me whether to open .xls file or save it. I tried the exactly same code via JAX-RS and the browser popup won't show up somehow. Has anyone encounter this mystery? • Specifying a Single Request To Use Credentials with HttpClient

  I am using OAuth2 on my android project. The idea is to use a singleton HttpClient used with a ThreadSafeClientConnManager. For a normal request to the server we construct an Authorization header and send that. The header is constructed from values received from the server. This works fine. However every 15 minutes we must get new values from the server to construct the header. To Received these values I must set the credentials like so. client.getCredentialsProvider().setCredentials( new AuthScope(AuthScope.ANY_HOST, AuthScope.ANY_PORT), new UsernamePasswordCredentials(creds.clientId, creds.clientSecret)); In order for this to work I must set up and new DefaultHttpClient. If I use the original singleton httpclient I receive some errors. My question is.. is it possible to set the credentials to be used only on this one request? I noticed that there is an AuthScope. The host and port would not be suitable for this but maybe the realm would? If I use the normal default httpclient like so DefaultHttpClient httpClient = new DefaultHttpClient(); Then it works fine. Any ideas?

I'm having trouble getting suds to construct the xml correctly for a request. When they right-click a project, they should see the relevant menu items and those menu items should provide dialogs for user interaction, followed by event handling code to deal with the current operation. Right now, at the end of the tutorial, the "Copy" and "Delete" menu items are present but disabled, while the "Move" and "Rename" menu items are absent: The NetBeans Project API provides a built-in mechanism out of the box that you can leverage for project-level "Copy", "Move", "Rename", and "Delete" actions. All the functionality is there for you to use, while all that you need to do is a bit of enablement and configuration, which is described below. So Google has full-text indexing/searching of our PDFs (great!) but then the links point just to those PDFs (boo!) instead of the more helpful abstract pages. • Passing data between android ListActivities in Java

  I am new to Android! I am having a problem getting this code to work... Basically I Go from one list activity to another and pass the text from a list item through the intent of the activity to the new list view, then retrieve that text in the new list activity and then preform a http request based on value of that list item. • How to create a simple adf dashboard application with EJB 3.0

  In this month's Oracle Magazine, Frank Nimphius wrote a very good article about an Oracle ADF Faces dashboard application to support persistent user personalization. My idea here is to create a similar dashboard application, but instead ADF BC model layer, I'm intending to use EJB3.0. There are just a one small trick here and I'll show you. • No GLX on Intel card with multiseat with additional nVidia card

  I have multiseat configured and my Xorg has 2 server layouts. One is for nVidia card and other is for Intel card. They both work, but display server assigned to Intel card doesn't have hardware acceleration since DRI and GLX module being used is from nVidia driver. So my question is, can I configure layouts somehow to use right DRI and GLX with each card?   I have deployed an application using JBoss 4.2.2 on a 64-bit RHEL5 server. Since there are other JBoss servers, I had to change some port configurations so that there would be no conflicts when starting the server. So right now I'm using ports-01 from the sample-bindings.xml file that came in the docs/examples/binding-manager/samples directory.   I have a sub-class(let's call it sub) and it contains all the function of an object in my game. In my main class(Let's call it main), i connect my sub to main. (Example sub Code: s = new sub(); Then I put my sub function at the update method. Code: s.myFunc(); Becuase in my sub, i have booleans, integers, float and more. The problem is that I don't want to connect my main class to use my main's int, booleans and others. If i connect it, it will have a stack overflow. • postfix system "mail name"

  I am installing postfix and I am confused what to put for the system mail name. It has an exmaple that sais use "example.org" if a mail address on the system is "foo@example.org" but it also sais that the mail name should be the FQDN. my hostname is "mercury" and my FQDN is "mercury.pacificseatheat.org", so should I use "pacificseatheat.org" or "mercury.pacificseatheat.org" for the system mail name? Thanks
