    Before we continue: It can't be a predefined list. I need it sort of like this: http://loopj.com/tokeninput/demo.html ... A jQuery plugin that allows the user to type a string of words, press enter, and it makes it a block of text, from there they can press the X to get rid of it, or type more key words into the input area. I've found many things that do this, but all are pulling information from a predefined list of choices.

  • Facebook Like Button (<fb:like>) Height Always 80px

    Why is the height of my Facebook Like button (technically the iframe that gets generated) always getting set to 80px? Example page is here: http://www.davidkasper.net/test.html I am using the javascript sdk and have had it work on other pages but for some reason the height will not change dynamically on this one! I can even do something like <fb:like style="height:40px"> and that will indeed set the visible height, but the iframe will still be 80px, whereas I can see it changing in the demo at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like

  • IE8 Accordion menu is throwing out some weird bugs

    I have an accordion side menu in my latest project that works in all modern browsers properly, apart from ie8. In Ie8, using the menu and clicking results in random padding and margins to be added and sometimes disappear for no apparent reason. I can't find any bit of jquery code that would potentially cause this to happen which is a pain. Even more confusing is the fact that this doesn't happen in Ie7 =S Can anyone here replicate this bug, and see what the problem is? Project Demo to view in ie8

    As we build and demo sites on our staging server with individual root folders for each such as /CLIENTNAME, we need to keep all the css, js and internal links for these sites referencing the server root. The following works for one folder each, but not sure how to adapt to work for all folders.   • jQuery to hide and show divs with an indicator

    Using the jQuery below to toggle the hiding and showing of divs of text: how would I add some sort of indicator - like an up and down arrow as a graphic - to the titles when the divs are either open and closed? What's the best way to do that? Two images? A CSS sprite? And most importantly: how would that be integrated into the JS? I've looked at other jQuery that assigns a random number to each div and then determines which are open and which are closed and toggles one of two images. But I'm using php in a WordPress loop to show a posts, and that gives problems with incrementing in the loop, so there must be an easier way that doesn't require changes in the name of the title div. Thanks.... This JS fires the showing and hiding.     I am toying with an application that will demo some Firefox 3.6 specific functionality, most of which are listed here: http://demos.hacks.mozilla.org/openweb/ I want to drag a zip file in the browser, unzip it, and work with the unzipped contents. Are there any existing libraries that can do this? Does FireFox 3.6 in particular have something I can use? Or would I have to roll my own unzipper library?     I have installed Symfony2 on a iis 7 server with PHP 5.3.21 and everything works ok ( the php, the symphony demo page ). I try to create my own helloWorld, as the tutorial says : php app/console generate:bundle I go Start-Run-CMD and put that line of code and it gives me back this : could not open input file : app/console and before anyone asks i am in the project directory when i perform this command I put the PHP directory to the System PATH but the problem persists.

  • Creating an invisible button in Java Swing

    Hello, I have seen many times on Java Swing GUIs buttons that look like images until the mouse rolls over them. They appear to not have their content area filled. When the mouse rolls over them, the content area fills in but the button looks as though the mouse is not hovering over it. An example of this would be the toolbar of buttons used to activate each demo in SwingSet2. How is this effect possible? Thanks!

  • MVC 4 iframe embedded in desktop page showing mobile view

    I use Index.cshtml and Index.mobile.cshtml. My Index.cshtml is a mobile app landing page containing an iframe to live demo the mobile web app. Index.mobile.cshtml is the mobile web app itself. The problem is, the iframe keeps loading the desktop version itself. As far as I know, I cannot configure the user agent of the iframe to a mobile type. It should be solvable with some routing but I couldn't figure out how!?

    Hi I was started designing a website using tableless. I was able to create and happy with the result, but in some point I'm having problem positioning some elements. see sample illustration here: http://christianruado.comuf.com/images/demo.jpg The right side which is green contains two elements the top and the bottom, my problem was how can set the height of the green container to always align with the footer? I want to align the bottom part to be aligned with the footer regardless the content of the center container?
