• GWT - ListBox - pre-selecting an item

  Hey there Stackoverflow, I got a doubt regarding pre-selecting(setSelectedIndex(index)) an item in a ListBox, Im using Spring + GWT. I got a dialog that contains a painel, this panel has a flexpanel, in which I've put a couple ListBox, this are filled up with data from my database. But this painel is for updates of an entity in my database, thus I wanted it to pre-select the current properties for this items, alowing the user to change at will. I do the filling up in the update method of the widget. I tried setting the selectedItem in the update method, but it gives me an null error. I've searched a few places and it seems that the listbox are only filled at the exact moment of the display. Thus pre-selecting would be impossible. I thought about some event, that is fired when the page is displayed. onLoad() doesnt work.. Anyone have something to help me out in here? Thx in advance, Rodrigo Dellacqua

• TTPhotoViewController: Images not loading until swipe

  Hi, I am trying to implement TTPhotoViewController in a sample iPad application. I have implemented properly TTPhotoSource and TTPhoto protocols. The TTPhotoViewController does show image, but not until swiped. The right and left button in the tab bar below doesnt seem to work at all, they never change the image displayed. The UIActivityIndicatorView is never put up, nor the right and left buttons are validated when last or first images are reached. I am initializing the subclass of TTPhotoViewController as a rootViewController of a UINavigationController object which I am adding it onto a view. • Winform custom control in WPF

  Hi, I'm inserting a custom winform control in a WPF/ XAML window, however i'm realising that the sizing seems to be very different, what i designed in winform to be 730pixels wide for instance, when placed via a WindowsFormsHost, in a container 730pixels (or at least i think they're pixels..) wide, the control looks much larger and doesnt fit in the host and results in clipping from the right and bottom. Would anyone know how to make these sizes match or something? I'm really at a loss and its very difficult to fix a custom control to make it look as it should off hand on WPF! Please help!

• The body gets displaced (and part of the content disappears) on ie7

  I have been searching for a way to fix this problem for a while now. It seems something could be wrong on the javascript, or maybe it has something to do with the positioning. This page http://www.medspilates.cl/ works fine on FF, on Chrome, on Safari and on IE8, but on ie7 it doesnt, the body gets displaced to the right and the main content disappears, it's also happening on ie6 (it didnt but now it does). • Core Location in iPhone Simulator 3.2 (iPad)

  So, i'm trying to port my app to iPad. I'm using CoreLocation. Apple says the iPad does have Location: Wi-Fi Digital compass Assisted GPS (Wi-Fi + 3G model) Cellular (Wi-Fi + 3G model) so it should be possible to get the position of my ipad (at least with 3g model) about 3km radius would be enought. but it doesnt work in simulator (3.2 ipad) (running 3.1.3 in simulator simulates me cupertino). is there a way to get the position in simulator (3.2 ipad) ? i live in germany and here the ipad isnt released yet, so i cannot test it on my device. thanks!

  Hi there I' m working on a web application. That has a master page and two pages. These pages under the that master page. I am trying navigate that pages with a TreeView which on the master page. When i click to treeview node i can go to page which i want but there is no postback. But if i use linkbutton postback event happen. I use a break point on master page's pageload event. When i use treeview, v.s doesnt stop on break point line but if i use link button v.s stop on that line. How can i do postback with using treeview? Thanks for your helps

  Does anyone know if there is a way of specifying the Format of a calendar extender with a dynamic value from the aspx? I tried this but it doesnt seem to set the format at all. • WinForms Taskbar Icon - Click Event not firing

  I have created a non-form c# program that uses the NotifyIcon class. The text "(Click to Activate)" shows up when I hover the mouse. So I am getting some events handled. • Cannot use Html.ActionLink in asp.net mvc spark files

  I'm using the spark view engine with my asp.net mvc application. In my aspx pages, I can succesfully use Html.Actionlink, but when I attempt it in spark files, it doesnt show up in intellisense, and when i try to run it anyway, i get: Dynamic view compilation failed. c:\Users\midas\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\ChurchMVC\ChurchMVC\Views\Home\Index.spark(73,25): error CS1061: 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper' does not contain a definition for 'ActionLink' and no extension method 'ActionLink' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I do have system.web.mvc referenced, and I have added in _global.spark. None of that helps. Any ideas?

• Assignment in python for loop possible?

  I have a dictionary d (and a seperate sorted list of keys, keys). I wanted the loop to only process entries where the value is False - so i tried the following: for key in keys and not d[key]: #do foo I suppose my understanding of python sytax is not what i thought it was - because the assignment doesnt suppose to have happened above, and a i get an instanciation error. The below works of course, but I'd really like to be able to use something like the code above.. possible? for key in keys: if d[key]: continue #foo time! Thanks!

• Cfsearch in combination of documents and indexed query data?

  hi! I have an application which stores all kind of data about people. The current cfsearch functionality (in Verity) includes searching documents that are attached to these people. If i have 2 documents attached to 1 person, 1 with say ABC in it and the other with XYZ in it, my ideal searchresult for "ABC AND XYZ" would return the 1 person. But as both 'words' are indexed in different documents, the standard behaviour is not to return any result from the cfsearch, because the combination doesnt exist in any of the 2 documents. Is there any way to combine indexed documents and/or query data in a way that the search is executed in the combination of relevant docs and data? In my application that would mean that i could index all documents and data regarding people and have an intelligent 'global' search to find the right person. any pointers and help very much appreciated! (should Solr offer new possibilities in comparison to Verity, no problem!) thanks! Bart

  Hello! I'm diving into the world of prolog headfirst but I seem to have hit shallow water! I'm looking at database manipulation in prolog with regards to this tutorial:Learn Prolog Now! It states that I can see my database by entering listing So i tried it and it should basically output everything in my .P file(facts, rules), but this is what i get, here are my sequence of commands: ? consult('D:\Prolog\testfile.P'). [testfile.P loaded] ? listing. library_directory(C:blahblahpathtoXSB) library_directory(C:blahblahXSBpath) {this is listed around 5 times)} shouldn't this command display what is in testfile.P, according to the tutorial? also, after consult testfile.P i should be ableto use assert to add more facts but it doesnt actually change anything in the testfile.P..? any ideas

• ASP.NET website not working properly in mobile

  I have created a simple app with a page having a server side form, three fields and a button that submits and performs two operations - 1) adds the form fields to the database table 2) sends an email. Now everything works fine on the web browser on my machine but when I access the app through my mobile, the page does not seem to work. the UI and all are set but the button click functionality doesnt seem to be working and also the label which is set after a successful submit is already visible and showing the "thank you" message. Am i doing something wrong here? I have checked the app on Nokia Smartphone browser, android phone, and iphone simulator.

  I'm using the JpGraph library(PHP graphing Lib). I'm getting the foll error: "JpGraph Error Your PHP installation does not seem to have the required GD 2.x library enabled. Please see the PHP documentation, "Image" section. Make sure that "php_gd2.dll" statement is uncomment in the [modules] section in the php.ini file" I uncommented the php_gd2.dll statement in php.ini(in C:\WINDOWS) and set the 'extension_dir' as extension_dir = C:\PHP\extensions (I have a extensions directory and put the php_gd2.dll in this directory ). I restarted IIS and when I fire up my webapp, it doesnt comeup. I commented out the php_gd2.dll and restarted IIS again. The webapp came up. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. Here is the server config: Windows Server 2003, with IIS Version 6. The PHP version is 4.3.8

  I am building an extension that has a popup whose elements are constructed by a function call everytime the mouse hovers over the popup option. I am able to achieve this. What I'm stuck with is where and what to place in my code to have the console read out "Enter palindrome..." and then text. I've tried with IO but it doesnt work out right. Also, how do I create a loop to keep going? • Clear fields on CreateUserWizard, Login control

  I have a createuserwizard and a login control on a page. both of them are customized (standard textboxes are replaced by RadTextBoxes) When i enter a value in the form and refresh the browser without submitting, the forms retain their values. Is there any way i can clear these fields on refresh.   Hi I have an onChange event that keeps bringing up the error below whenever I preview it. 'Object doesnt support this property or method' I have the onChange event associated with a picklist and when a specific option is selected another field is unhidden.
