• Additional Drivers error installing in Ubuntu 12.04 (wireless internet and software modem)

  I've already search for similar problems but they are so different from mine. these are the drivers http://db.tt/qFZlD5JD I'm having problem with this Additional Drivers once I click the Activate button it will start in downloading and installing but after that it will say Installation failed. Then the "Enable Wireless" will not be available. With the Software Modem issue is the same problem with the Broadcom. These drivers are working on Ubuntu 9 and 11 if I'm not mistaken. Only on 12.04 is not working. One more thing these drivers will enable the Huawei E165g E220. I've already tried other solution for the Huawei to activate but all didn't work. After a restart Enable wireless becomes okay, though. To all Ubuntu experts and masters please I'm begging for help. A million Thank You!.

• Is it possible to test a theory?

  We are a group of students who are working on a theory in software engineering (talking about the theory takes a lot of time so I just skip that). Implementing the theory is impossible, due to technical limitations, but it can be proven on a paper logically. We've been pushed to do a testing on it, so it can be proved that way too (although we bleieve that's not possible!), now: Basically, is it possible to test something like this? If it is, what type of testing should we use? I heard,its possible to handout a brief about it to some experts and asking about their opinion (not sure if that's true), is that a testing method? if it is, what does it called? and how exactly can be done?

• Will the Global Demand for Water Outstrip the Supply by 2030?

  A recent study conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit and sponsored by Oracle Utilities, titled “Water for All?”,considers the preparedness of utilities to supply water to the current global population of over 7 billion people, with a further 1 billion expected by 2030. It compares strategies used by utilities in 10 major countries to address this challenge. This study’s findings show that wide-ranging water management efforts and large-scale investments must be made if utilities are to meet near-certain water stress—demand outstripping supply—by 2030. The report is based on an online survey of 244 executives of water utilities in these countries, supplemented by in-depth interviews with 20 water utility executives and independent experts. The research concludes that utilities worldwide expect to meet future demand, despite increased supply pressure on supplies, due to improvements in water productivity that the wide range of measures utilities and governments will take to ensure that water is used more efficiently. What tools and terminal commands exist in Ubuntu to help diagnose how the problem occurred and help solve it if it can be done. Problems like: Ubuntu Freezes after X time or when using Y app Ubuntu rebooted/hibernated/suspended all by itself Ubuntu not showing video or video has problems Ubuntu not making any sound or sound has problems Ubuntu not reading X drive (Pen drive, Internal Drive, External Drive...)   I am a software developer(sharepoint developer) with total 3 years of experience.Though using out of the box sharepoint excites me, i have aversion to code. i kinda cant put my brains in coding. i have my eyes on MBA now(only reason is to get rid of code). I wanted to rethink on this and need your expert advice and suggestions. As i am working currently in a hot skill(sharepoint 2013) technology, is it a good thought to go ahead and do MBA and change my career, or should i start liking what i do?? • Asus 1001P freezes after chaging network settings

  I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 on a Asus PC 1001P in a dual boot environment with XP. All has been running fine for several weeks, but: I've just changed ISP (from Tiscali to BT), and had already sorted out connection, registration, etc. on a Dell laptop. On the Asus I went into Ubuntu to alter the wireless network details (i.e. selected the new network, and entered the password). Ubuntu immediately started running slowly, and after rebooting it now freezes when it gets to the Ubuntu logo and gets no further. Please help, lovely Ubuntu experts.
