  • KML Layers Cursor CSS - Google Maps API v3

    - by Douglas
I've run into a small problem with the semi-new KML Overlay functionality with Google Maps API v3, wherein while I am able to use "suppressInfoWindows: true;", the cursor still appears as though the overlay(s) are clickable. Is there a way at this time to change the css on the overlay(s) so that the cursor is the default cursor, so that they are purely visual, and don't confuse the user? The current demo version can be viewed here: http://dougglover.com/samples/finalProduct/ Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • How to auto-generate externs for the Google Closure Compiler

    - by ivo
Suppose you are working in a javascript project with several external library dependencies, and want to compile your sources using the Google Closure Compiler in ADVANCED_OPTIMIZATIONS mode. Since in this mode the compiler will rename your code calls to the external libraries objects and functions, you must provide externs, to prevent this renaming from happening. But, it is a lot of work to produce the externs by hand, so, what is the best way to auto-generate the appropriate extern from a given javascript lib?

I am trying to understand when this would return more than one Wave. What are the situations where there is more than one Wave associated with the session/context?

  • Using the Google AJAX Search API for SEO Purposes

    - by User
I am looking at writing a .net application that uses the Google AJAX Search API to determine where our website falls for a given term compared to a competitor. I can find alot about the old SOAP API however for the new AJAX api I cannot find any information on the following: Is this sort of use allowed as the Terms of use are vague Is there a limit to the number of requests per day As you can only get a max of 8 results at a time, is the only way to get the top 100 results to keep requesting the next set and is this an issue? Thanks

    - by Paul
Any tips or best practices for unit testing Google Wave robots written in Java? I'm expecting to deploy on AppEngine, if that helps. I'm a fan of TDD but new to both Wave Robots and AppEngine, so I'm hoping to use TDD to help me explore the design space.

  • Copy an entity in Google App Engine datastore in Python

    - by Gordon Worley
In a Python Google App Engine app I'm writing, I have an entity stored in the datastore that I need to retrieve, make an exact copy of it (with the exception of the key), and then put this entity back in. How should I do this? In particular, are there any caveats or tricks I need to be aware of when doing this so that I get a copy of the sort I expect and not something else.

  • Mobile Google Calendar for Specific Calendars Only

    - by mellort
The mobile view of Google Calendar is really great, but I would like to be able to have it for one calendar ONLY, rather than all of the calendars I use. This would be so that I could create a webapp where a user could visit a URL and see a mobile view of a certain calendar, without the user having to add it to his calendars. What is the best way to do this? Are there any tools which accomplish something similar?
