  • MVVM and Databinding with UniformGrid

    - by JP
    I'm trying to style the back of a WPF chart with some rectangles. I'm using MVVM, and I need the rectangles to be uniformly sized. When defined via Xaml, this works with a fixed "BucketCount" of 4: <VisualBrush> <VisualBrush.Visual> <UniformGrid Height="500" Width="500" Rows="1" Columns="{Binding BucketCount}"> <Rectangle Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0" Fill="#22ADD8E6" /> <Rectangle Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="1" Fill="#22D3D3D3"/> <Rectangle Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="2" Fill="#22ADD8E6"/> <Rectangle Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="3" Fill="#22D3D3D3"/> </UniformGrid> </VisualBrush.Visual> <VisualBrush> How can I bind my ObservableCollection of Rectangles? There is no "ItemsSource" property on UniformGrid. Do I need to use an ItemsControl? If so, how can I do this? Thanks in advance.

    - by user2745378
    i need to sort the items alphabetically in listbox when sort button is clicked. (I have sort button in appbar). But I dunno how to achieve this. here is XAML. All help will be much appreciated. <phone:PhoneApplicationPage.Resources> <DataTemplate x:Key="ProjectTemplate"> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="400" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding Name}" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextLargeStyle}" /> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </phone:PhoneApplicationPage.Resources> <Grid x:Name="ContentPanel" Grid.Row="1" Margin="0,0,12,0"> <ListBox x:Name="projectList" ItemsSource="{Binding Items}" SelectionChanged="ListBox_SelectionChanged" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource ProjectTemplate}" /> </Grid> Here's my ViewModel namespace PhoneApp.ViewModels { public class ProjectsViewModel: ItemsViewModelBase<Project> { public ProjectsViewModel(TaskDataContext taskDB) : base(taskDB) { } public override void LoadData() { base.LoadData(); var projectsInDB = _taskDB.Projects.ToList(); Items = new ObservableCollection<Project>(projectsInDB); } public override void AddItem(Project item) { _taskDB.Projects.InsertOnSubmit(item); _taskDB.SubmitChanges(); Items.Add(item); } public override void RemoveItem(int id) { var projects = from p in Items where p.Id == id select p; var item = projects.FirstOrDefault(); if (item != null) { var tasks = (from t in App.TasksViewModel.Items where t.ProjectId == item.Id select t).ToList(); foreach (var task in tasks) App.TasksViewModel.RemoveItem(task.Id); Items.Remove(item); _taskDB.Projects.DeleteOnSubmit(item); _taskDB.SubmitChanges(); } } } } I have added the ViewModel C# Code herewith

  • Silverlight MEF – Download On Demand

    - by PeterTweed
    Take the Slalom Challenge at www.slalomchallenge.com! A common challenge with building complex applications in Silverlight is the initial download size of the xap file.  MEF enables us to build composable applications that allows us to build complex composite applications.  Wouldn’t it be great if we had a mechanism to spilt out components into different Silverlight applications in separate xap files and download the separate xap file only if needed?   MEF gives us the ability to do this.  This post will cover the basics needed to build such a composite application split between different silerlight applications and download the referenced silverlight application only when needed. Steps: 1.     Create a Silverlight 4 application 2.     Add references to the following assemblies: System.ComponentModel.Composition.dll System.ComponentModel.Composition.Initialization.dll 3.     Add a new Silverlight 4 application called ExternalSilverlightApplication to the solution that was created in step 1.  Ensure the new application is hosted in the web application for the solution and choose to not create a test page for the new application. 4.     Delete the App.xaml and MainPage.xaml files – they aren’t needed. 5.     Add references to the following assemblies in the ExternalSilverlightApplication project: System.ComponentModel.Composition.dll System.ComponentModel.Composition.Initialization.dll 6.     Ensure the two references above have their Copy Local values set to false.  As we will have these two assmblies in the original Silverlight application, we will have no need to include them in the built ExternalSilverlightApplication build. 7.     Add a new user control called LeftControl to the ExternalSilverlightApplication project. 8.     Replace the LayoutRoot Grid with the following xaml:     <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="Beige" Margin="40" >         <Button Content="Left Content" Margin="30"></Button>     </Grid> 9.     Add the following statement to the top of the LeftControl.xaml.cs file using System.ComponentModel.Composition; 10.   Add the following attribute to the LeftControl class     [Export(typeof(LeftControl))]   This attribute tells MEF that the type LeftControl will be exported – i.e. made available for other applications to import and compose into the application. 11.   Add a new user control called RightControl to the ExternalSilverlightApplication project. 12.   Replace the LayoutRoot Grid with the following xaml:     <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="Green" Margin="40"  >         <TextBlock Margin="40" Foreground="White" Text="Right Control" FontSize="16" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" ></TextBlock>     </Grid> 13.   Add the following statement to the top of the RightControl.xaml.cs file using System.ComponentModel.Composition; 14.   Add the following attribute to the RightControl class     [Export(typeof(RightControl))] 15.   In your original Silverlight project add a reference to the ExternalSilverlightApplication project. 16.   Change the reference to the ExternalSilverlightApplication project to have it’s Copy Local value = false.  This will ensure that the referenced ExternalSilverlightApplication Silverlight application is not included in the original Silverlight application package when it it built.  The ExternalSilverlightApplication Silverlight application therefore has to be downloaded on demand by the original Silverlight application for it’s controls to be used. 1.     In your original Silverlight project add the following xaml to the LayoutRoot Grid in MainPage.xaml:         <Grid.RowDefinitions>             <RowDefinition Height="65*" />             <RowDefinition Height="235*" />         </Grid.RowDefinitions>         <Button Name="LoaderButton" Content="Download External Controls" Click="Button_Click"></Button>         <StackPanel Grid.Row="1" Orientation="Horizontal" HorizontalAlignment="Center" >             <Border Name="LeftContent" Background="Red" BorderBrush="Gray" CornerRadius="20"></Border>             <Border Name="RightContent" Background="Red" BorderBrush="Gray" CornerRadius="20"></Border>         </StackPanel>       The borders will hold the controls that will be downlaoded, imported and composed via MEF when the button is clicked. 2.     Add the following statement to the top of the MainPage.xaml.cs file using System.ComponentModel.Composition; 3.     Add the following properties to the MainPage class:         [Import(typeof(LeftControl))]         public LeftControl LeftUserControl { get; set; }         [Import(typeof(RightControl))]         public RightControl RightUserControl { get; set; }   This defines properties accepting LeftControl and RightControl types.  The attrributes are used to tell MEF the discovered type that should be applied to the property when composition occurs. 17.   Add the following event handler for the button click to the MainPage.xaml.cs file:         private void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)         {                   DeploymentCatalog deploymentCatalog =     new DeploymentCatalog("ExternalSilverlightApplication.xap");                   CompositionHost.Initialize(deploymentCatalog);                   deploymentCatalog.DownloadCompleted += (s, i) =>                 {                     if (i.Error == null)                     {                         CompositionInitializer.SatisfyImports(this);                           LeftContent.Child = LeftUserControl;                         RightContent.Child = RightUserControl;                         LoaderButton.IsEnabled = false;                     }                 };                   deploymentCatalog.DownloadAsync();         } This is where the magic happens!  The deploymentCatalog object is pointed to the ExternalSilverlightApplication.xap file.  It is then associated with the CompositionHost initialization.  As the download will be asynchronous, an eventhandler is created for the DownloadCompleted event.  The deploymentCatalog object is then told to start the asynchronous download. The event handler that executes when the download is completed uses the CompositionInitializer.SatisfyImports() function to tell MEF to satisfy the Imports for the current class.  It is at this point that the LeftUserControl and RightUserControl properties are initialized with composed objects from the downloaded ExternalSilverlightApplication.xap package. 18.   Run the application click the Download External Controls button and see the controls defined in the ExternalSilverlightApplication application loaded into the original Silverlight application. Congratulations!  You have implemented download on demand capabilities for composite applications using the MEF DeploymentCatalog class.  You are now able to segment your applications into separate xap file for deployment.

  • Attaching a Command to the WP7 Application Bar.

    - by mbcrump
    One of the biggest problems that I’ve seen with people creating WP7 applications is how do you bind the application bar to a Relay Command. If your using MVVM then this is particular important. Let’s examine the code that one might add to start with.  <phone:PhoneApplicationPage.ApplicationBar> <shell:ApplicationBar IsVisible="True" IsMenuEnabled="True"> <shell:ApplicationBarIconButton x:Name="appbar_button1" IconUri="/icons/appbar.questionmark.rest.png" Text="About"> <i:Interaction.Triggers> <i:EventTrigger EventName="Click"> <GalaSoft_MvvmLight_Command:EventToCommand Command="{Binding DisplayAbout, Mode=OneWay}" /> </i:EventTrigger> </i:Interaction.Triggers> </shell:ApplicationBarIconButton> <shell:ApplicationBar.MenuItems> <shell:ApplicationBarMenuItem x:Name="menuItem1" Text="MenuItem 1"></shell:ApplicationBarMenuItem> <shell:ApplicationBarMenuItem x:Name="menuItem2" Text="MenuItem 2"></shell:ApplicationBarMenuItem> </shell:ApplicationBar.MenuItems> </shell:ApplicationBar> </phone:PhoneApplicationPage.ApplicationBar> Everything looks right. But we quickly notice that we have a squiggly line under our Interaction.Triggers. The problem is that the object is not a FrameworkObject. This same code would have worked perfect if this were a normal button. OK. Point has been proved. Let’s make the ApplicationBar support Commands. So, go ahead and create a new project using MVVM Light. If you want to check out the source and work along side this tutorial then click here.  7 Easy Steps to have binding on the Application Bar using MVVM Light (I might add that you don’t have to use MVVM Light to get this functionality, I just prefer it.) 1) Download MVVM Light if you don’t already have it and install the project templates. It is available at http://mvvmlight.codeplex.com/. 2) Click File-New Project and navigate to Silverlight for Windows Phone. Make sure you use the MVVM Light (WP7) Template. 3) Now that we have our project setup and ready to go let’s download a wrapper created by Nicolas Humann here, it is called Phone7.Fx. After you download it then extract it somewhere that you can find it. This wrapper will make our application bar/menu item bindable. 4) Right click References inside your WP7 project and add the .dll file to your project. 5) In your MainPage.xaml you will need to add the proper namespace to it. Don’t forget to build your project afterwards. xmlns:Preview="clr-namespace:Phone7.Fx.Preview;assembly=Phone7.Fx.Preview" 6) Now you can add the BindableAppBar to your MainPage.xaml with a few lines of code.  <Preview:BindableApplicationBar x:Name="AppBar" BarOpacity="1.0" > <Preview:BindableApplicationBarIconButton Command="{Binding DisplayAbout}" IconUri="/icons/appbar.questionmark.rest.png" Text="About" /> <Preview:BindableApplicationBar.MenuItems> <Preview:BindableApplicationBarMenuItem Text="Settings" Command="{Binding InputBox}" /> </Preview:BindableApplicationBar.MenuItems> </Preview:BindableApplicationBar> So your final MainPage.xaml will look similar to this: NOTE: The AppBar will be located inside of the Grid using this wrapper.   <!--LayoutRoot contains the root grid where all other page content is placed--> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="Transparent"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <!--TitlePanel contains the name of the application and page title--> <StackPanel x:Name="TitlePanel" Grid.Row="0" Margin="24,24,0,12"> <TextBlock x:Name="ApplicationTitle" Text="{Binding ApplicationTitle}" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextNormalStyle}" /> <TextBlock x:Name="PageTitle" Text="{Binding PageName}" Margin="-3,-8,0,0" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextTitle1Style}" /> </StackPanel> <!--ContentPanel - place additional content here--> <Grid x:Name="ContentGrid" Grid.Row="1"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Welcome}" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextNormalStyle}" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" FontSize="40" /> </Grid> <Preview:BindableApplicationBar x:Name="AppBar" BarOpacity="1.0" > <Preview:BindableApplicationBarIconButton Command="{Binding DisplayAbout}" IconUri="/icons/appbar.questionmark.rest.png" Text="About" /> <Preview:BindableApplicationBar.MenuItems> <Preview:BindableApplicationBarMenuItem Text="Settings" Command="{Binding InputBox}" /> </Preview:BindableApplicationBar.MenuItems> </Preview:BindableApplicationBar> </Grid> 7) Let’s go ahead and create the RelayCommands and write them up to a MessageBox by editing our MainViewModel.cs file. public class MainViewModel : ViewModelBase { public string ApplicationTitle { get { return "MVVM LIGHT"; } } public string PageName { get { return "My page:"; } } public string Welcome { get { return "Welcome to MVVM Light"; } } public RelayCommand DisplayAbout { get; private set; } public RelayCommand InputBox { get; private set; } /// <summary> /// Initializes a new instance of the MainViewModel class. /// </summary> public MainViewModel() { if (IsInDesignMode) { // Code runs in Blend --> create design time data. } else { DisplayAbout = new RelayCommand(() => { MessageBox.Show("About box called!"); }); InputBox = new RelayCommand(() => { MessageBox.Show("settings button called"); }); } } If you run the project now you should get something similar to this (notice the AppBar at the bottom):  Now if you hit the question mark then you will get the following MessageBox: The MenuItem works as well so for Settings: As you can see, its pretty easy to add a Command to the ApplicationBar/MenuItem. • Silverlight 4 Twitter Client &ndash; Part 3

    - by Max
    Finally Silverlight 4 RC is released and also that Windows 7 Phone Series will rely heavily on Silverlight platform for apps platform. its a really good news for Silverlight developers and designers. More information on this here. You can use SL 4 RC with VS 2010. SL 4 RC does not come with VS 2010, you need to download it separately and install it. So for the next part, be ready with VS 2010 and SL4 RC, we will start using them and not With this momentum, let us go to the next part of our twitter client tutorial. This tutorial will cover setting your status in Twitter and also retrieving your 1) As everything in Silverlight is asynchronous, we need to have some visual representation showing that something is going on in the background. So what I did was to create a progress bar with indeterminate animation. The XAML is here below. <ProgressBar Maximum="100" Width="300" Height="50" Margin="20" Visibility="Collapsed" IsIndeterminate="True" Name="progressBar1" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" /> 2) I will be toggling this progress bar to show the background work. So I thought of writing this small method, which I use to toggle the visibility of this progress bar. Just pass a bool to this method and this will toggle it based on its current visibility status. public void toggleProgressBar(bool Option){ if (Option) { if (progressBar1.Visibility == System.Windows.Visibility.Collapsed) progressBar1.Visibility = System.Windows.Visibility.Visible; } else { if (progressBar1.Visibility == System.Windows.Visibility.Visible) progressBar1.Visibility = System.Windows.Visibility.Collapsed; }} 3) Now let us create a grid to hold a textbox and a update button. The XAML will look like something below <Grid HorizontalAlignment="Center"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="50"></RowDefinition> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="400"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="200"></ColumnDefinition> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBox Name="TwitterStatus" Width="380" Height="50"></TextBox> <Button Name="UpdateStatus" Content="Update" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="2" Width="200" Height="50" Click="UpdateStatus_Click"></Button></Grid> 4) The click handler for this update button will be again using the Web Client to post values. Posting values using Web Client. The code is: private void UpdateStatus_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e){ toggleProgressBar(true); string statusupdate = "status=" + TwitterStatus.Text; WebRequest.RegisterPrefix("https://", System.Net.Browser.WebRequestCreator.ClientHttp);  WebClient myService = new WebClient(); myService.AllowReadStreamBuffering = true; myService.UseDefaultCredentials = false; myService.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(GlobalVariable.getUserName(), GlobalVariable.getPassword());  myService.UploadStringCompleted += new UploadStringCompletedEventHandler(myService_UploadStringCompleted); myService.UploadStringAsync(new Uri("https://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml"), statusupdate);  this.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(() => ClearTextBoxValue());} 5) In the above code, we have a event handler which will be fired on this request is completed – !! Remember SL is Asynch !! So in the myService_UploadStringCompleted, we will just toggle the progress bar and change some status text to say that its done. The code for this will be StatusMessage is just another textblock conveniently positioned in the page.  void myService_UploadStringCompleted(object sender, UploadStringCompletedEventArgs e){ if (e.Error != null) { StatusMessage.Text = "Status Update Failed: " + e.Error.Message.ToString(); } else { toggleProgressBar(false); TwitterCredentialsSubmit(); }} 6) Now let us look at fetching the friends updates of the logged in user and displaying it in a datagrid. So just define a data grid and set its autogenerate columns as true. 7) Let us first create a data structure for use with fetching the friends timeline. The code is something like below: namespace MaxTwitter.Classes{ public class Status { public Status() {} public string ID { get; set; } public string Text { get; set; } public string Source { get; set; } public string UserID { get; set; } public string UserName { get; set; } }} You can add as many fields as you want, for the list of fields, have a look at here. It will ask for your Twitter username and password, just provide them and this will display the xml file. Go through them pick and choose your desired fields and include in your Data Structure. 8) Now the web client request for this is similar to the one we saw in step 4. Just change the uri in the last but one step to https://twitter.com/statuses/friends_timeline.xml Be sure to change the event handler to something else and within that we will use XLINQ to fetch the required details for us. Now let us how this event handler fetches details. public void parseXML(string text){ XDocument xdoc; if(text.Length> 0) xdoc = XDocument.Parse(text); else xdoc = XDocument.Parse(@"I USED MY OWN LOCAL COPY OF XML FILE HERE FOR OFFLINE TESTING"); statusList = new List<Status>(); statusList = (from status in xdoc.Descendants("status") select new Status { ID = status.Element("id").Value, Text = status.Element("text").Value, Source = status.Element("source").Value, UserID = status.Element("user").Element("id").Value, UserName = status.Element("user").Element("screen_name").Value, }).ToList(); //MessageBox.Show(text); //this.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(() => CallDatabindMethod(StatusCollection)); //MessageBox.Show(statusList.Count.ToString()); DataGridStatus.ItemsSource = statusList; StatusMessage.Text = "Datagrid refreshed."; toggleProgressBar(false);} in the event handler, we call this method with e.Result.ToString() Parsing XML files using LINQ is super cool, I love it.   I am stopping it here for  this post. Will post the completed files in next post, as I’ve worked on a few more features in this page and don’t want to confuse you. See you soon in my next post where will play with Twitter lists. Have a nice day! Technorati Tags: Silverlight,LINQ,XLINQ,Twitter API,Twitter,Network Credentials

  • Ladder-like word game in Java

    - by sasquatch90
    I've found this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2844190/choosing-design-method-for-ladder-like-word-game and I would also like to do this kind of program. I've written some code but already have two issues. Here's what I already have : GRID : public class Grid { public Grid(){} public Grid( Element e ){} } ELEMENT : public class Element { final int INVISIBLE = 0; final int EMPTY = 1; final int FIRST_LETTER = 2; final int OTHER_LETTER = 3; private int state; private String letter; public Element(){} //empty block public Element(int state){ this("", 0); } //filled block public Element(String s, int state){ this.state = state; this.letter = s; } public static void changeState(int s){ } public int getState(){ return state; } public boolean equalLength(){ return true; } public boolean equalValue(){ return true; } @Override public String toString(){ return "["+letter+"]"; } } MAIN: import java.util.Scanner; public class Main { public static void main(String[] args){ Scanner sc = new Scanner(System.in); System.out.println("Height: "); while (!sc.hasNextInt()) { System.out.println("int, please!"); sc.next(); } final int height = sc.nextInt(); Grid[] game = new Grid[height]; for(int i = 1; i <= height; i++) { String s; do { System.out.println("Length " + i + ", please!"); s = sc.next(); } while (s.length() != i); Element[] line = new Element[s.length()+1]; Element single = null; String[] temp = null; //issue here temp = s.split(""); System.out.println("s.length: "+s.length()); System.out.println("temp.length: "+temp.length); // for(String str : temp){ System.out.println("str:"+str); } for (int k = 0 ; k < temp.length ; k++) { if( k == 0 ){ single = new Element(temp[k], 2); System.out.println("single1: "+single); } else{ single = new Element(temp[k], 3); System.out.println("single2: "+single); } line[k] = single; } for (Element l : line) { System.out.println("line:"+l); } //issue here game[i] = line; } // for (Grid g : game) { System.out.println(g); } } } And sample output for debug : Height: 3 Length 1, please! A s.length: 1 temp.length: 2 str: str:A single1: [] single2: [A] line:[] line:[A] Here's what I think it should work like. I grab a word from user. Next create Grid element for whole game. Then for each line I create Element[] array called line. I split the given text and here's the first problem. Why string.split() adds a whitespace ? You can see clearly in output that it is added for no reason. How can I get rid of it (now I had to add +1 to the length of line just to run the code). Continuing I'm throwing the splitted text into temporary String array and next from each letter I create Element object and throw it to line array. Apart of this empty space output looks fine. But next problem is with Grid. I've created constructor taking Element as an argument, but still I can't throw line as Grid[] elements because of 'incompatible types'. How can I fix that ? Am I even doing it right ? Maybe I should get rid of line as Element[] and just create Grid[][] ?

  • jqGrid multiplesearch - How do I add and/or column for each row?

    - by jimasp
    I have a jqGrid multiple search dialog as below: (Note the first empty td in each row). What I want is a search grid like this (below), where: The first td is filled in with "and/or" accordingly. The corresponding search filters are also built that way. The empty td is there by default, so I assume that this is a standard jqGrid feature that I can turn on, but I can't seem to find it in the docs. My code looks like this: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { var lastSel; var pageSize = 10; // the initial pageSize $("#grid").jqGrid({ url: '/Ajax/GetJqGridActivities', editurl: '/Ajax/UpdateJqGridActivities', datatype: "json", colNames: [ 'Id', 'Description', 'Progress', 'Actual Start', 'Actual End', 'Status', 'Scheduled Start', 'Scheduled End' ], colModel: [ { name: 'Id', index: 'Id', searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne']} }, { name: 'Description', index: 'Description', searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne']} }, { name: 'Progress', index: 'Progress', editable: true, searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne', "gt", "ge", "lt", "le"]} }, { name: 'ActualStart', index: 'ActualStart', editable: true, searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne', "gt", "ge", "lt", "le"]} }, { name: 'ActualEnd', index: 'ActualEnd', editable: true, searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne', "gt", "ge", "lt", "le"]} }, { name: 'Status', index: 'Status.Name', editable: true, searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne']} }, { name: 'ScheduledStart', index: 'ScheduledStart', searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne', "gt", "ge", "lt", "le"]} }, { name: 'ScheduledEnd', index: 'ScheduledEnd', searchoptions: { sopt: ['eq', 'ne', "gt", "ge", "lt", "le"]} } ], jsonReader: { root: 'rows', id: 'Id', repeatitems: false }, rowNum: pageSize, // this is the pageSize rowList: [pageSize, 50, 100], pager: '#pager', sortname: 'Id', autowidth: true, shrinkToFit: false, viewrecords: true, sortorder: "desc", caption: "JSON Example", onSelectRow: function (id) { if (id && id !== lastSel) { $('#grid').jqGrid('restoreRow', lastSel); $('#grid').jqGrid('editRow', id, true); lastSel = id; } } }); // change the options (called via searchoptions) var updateGroupOpText = function ($form) { $('select.opsel option[value="AND"]', $form[0]).text('and'); $('select.opsel option[value="OR"]', $form[0]).text('or'); $('select.opsel', $form[0]).trigger('change'); }; // $(window).bind('resize', function() { // ("#grid").setGridWidth($(window).width()); //}).trigger('resize'); // paging bar settings (inc. buttons) // and advanced search $("#grid").jqGrid('navGrid', '#pager', { edit: true, add: false, del: false }, // buttons {}, // edit option - these are ordered params! {}, // add options {}, // del options {closeOnEscape: true, multipleSearch: true, closeAfterSearch: true, onInitializeSearch: updateGroupOpText, afterRedraw: updateGroupOpText}, // search options {} ); // TODO: work out how to use global $.ajaxSetup instead $('#grid').ajaxError(function (e, jqxhr, settings, exception) { var str = "Ajax Error!\n\n"; if (jqxhr.status === 0) { str += 'Not connect.\n Verify Network.'; } else if (jqxhr.status == 404) { str += 'Requested page not found. • Silverlight/Web Service Serializing Interface for use Client Side

    - by Steve Brouillard
    I have a Silverlight solution that references a third-party web service. This web service generates XML, which is then processed into objects for use in Silverlight binding. At one point we the processing of XML to objects was done client-side, but we ran into performance issues and decided to move this processing to the proxies in the hosting web project to improve performance (which it did). This is obviously a gross over-simplification, but should work. My basic project structure looks like this. Solution Solution.Web - Holds the web page that hosts Silverlight as well as proxies that access web services and processes as required and obviously the references to those web services). Solution.Infrastructure - Holds references to the proxy web services in the .Web project, all genned code from serialized objects from those proxies and code around those objects that need to be client-side. Solution.Book - The particular project that uses the objects in question after processed down into Infrastructure. I've defined the following Interface and Class in the Web project. They represent the type of objects that the XML from the original third-party gets transformed into and since this is the only project in the Silverlight app that is actually server-side, that was the place to define and use them. //Doesn't get much simpler than this. public interface INavigable { string Description { get; set; } } //Very simple class too public class IndexEntry : INavigable { public List<IndexCM> CMItems { get; set; } public string CPTCode { get; set; } public string DefinitionOfAbbreviations { get; set; } public string Description { get; set; } public string EtiologyCode { get; set; } public bool HighScore { get; set; } public IndexToTabularCommandArguments IndexToTabularCommandArgument { get; set; } public bool IsExpanded { get; set; } public string ManifestationCode { get; set; } public string MorphologyCode { get; set; } public List<TextItem> NonEssentialModifiersAndQualifyingText { get; set; } public string OtherItalics { get; set; } public IndexEntry Parent { get; set; } public int Score { get; set; } public string SeeAlsoReference { get; set; } public string SeeReference { get; set; } public List<IndexEntry> SubEntries { get; set; } public int Words { get; set; } } Again; both of these items are defined in the Web project. Notice that IndexEntry implments INavigable. When the code for IndexEntry is auto-genned in the Infrastructure project, the definition of the class does not include the implmentation of INavigable. After discovering this, I thought "no problem, I'll create another partial class file reiterating the implmentation". Unfortunately (I'm guessing because it isn't being serialized), that interface isn't recognized in the Infrastructure project, so I can't simply do that. Here's where it gets really weird. The BOOK project CAN see the INavigable interface. In fact I use it in Book, though Book has no reference to the Web Service in the Web project where the thing is define, though Infrastructure does. Just as a test, I linked to the INavigable source file from indside the Infrastructure project. That allowed me to reference it in that project and compile, but causes havoc in the Book project, because now there's a conflick between the one define in Infrastructure and the one defined in the Web project's web service. This is behavior I would expect. So, to try and sum up a bit. Web project has a web service that process data from a third-party service and has a class and interface defined in it. The class implements the interface. The Infrastructure project references the web service in the Web Project and the Book project references the Infrastructure project. The implmentation of the interface in the class does NOT serialize down, so the auto-genned code in INfrastructure does not show this relationship, breaking code further down-stream. The Book project, whihc is further down-stream CAN see the interface as defined in the Web Project, even though its only reference is through the Infrastructure project; whihc CAN'T see it. Am I simple missing something easy here? Can I apply an attribute to either the Interface definition or to the its implmentation in the class to ensure its visibility downstream? Anything else I can do here? I know this is a bit convoluted and anyone still with me here, thanks for your patience and any advice you might have. Cheers, Steve

  • Why can't the style I have within a control template use templatebinding?

    - by Justin
    I have this control template that I am writing: <Style TargetType="{x:Type controls:InfoBar}"> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type controls:InfoBar}"> <Border Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}"> <StackPanel> <Grid> <Grid.Resources> <Style TargetType="{x:Type TextBlock}"> <Setter Property="FontFamily" Value="{TemplateBinding FontFamily}" /> <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="{TemplateBinding FontSize}" /> <Setter Property="Foreground" Value="{TemplateBinding Foreground}" /> </Style> </Grid.Resources> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition /> <ColumnDefinition /> <ColumnDefinition /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ItemsControl Grid.Column="0" ItemsSource="{TemplateBinding LeftInfoBarTextBlockCollection}"> <ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <WrapPanel /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> </ItemsControl> <ItemsControl Grid.Column="1" ItemsSource="{TemplateBinding MiddleInfoBarTextBlockCollection}"> <ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <WrapPanel /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> </ItemsControl> <ItemsControl Grid.Column="2" ItemsSource="{TemplateBinding RightInfoBarTextBlockCollection}"> <ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <WrapPanel /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> </ItemsControl> </Grid> </StackPanel> </Border> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> This section of xaml is throwing member is not valid because it does not contain a valid type name. exceptions for the template bindings on FontFamily, FontSize and Foreground. <Grid.Resources> If I change it to this: <Grid.Resources> It will build, but when I debug it, I get this XmlParseExeption: Set property 'System.Windows.Setter.Value' threw an exception. If I change controls:InfoBar to Control, which InfoBar inherits from, I get the same exception. What am I doing wrong?

  • java 7 upgrade and hibernate annotation processor error

    - by Bill Turner
    I am getting the following warning, which seems to be triggering a subsequent warning and an error. I have been googling like mad, though have not found anything that makes it clear what it is I should do to resolve this. This issue occurs when I execute an Ant build. I am trying to migrate our project to Java 7. I have changed all the source='1.6' and target="1.6" to 1.7. I did find this related article: Forward compatible Java 6 annotation processor and SupportedSourceVersion It seems to indicate that I should build the Hibernate annotation processor jar myself, compiling it with with 1.7. It does not seem I should be required to do so. The latest version of the class in question (in hibernate-validator-annotation-processor-5.0.1.Final.jar) has been compiled with 1.6. Since the code in said class refers to SourceVersion.latestSupported(), and the 1.6 of that returns only RELEASE_6, there does not seem to be a generally available solution. Here is the warning: [javac] warning: Supported source version 'RELEASE_6' from annotation processor 'org.hibernate.validator.ap.ConstraintValidationProcessor' less than -source '1.7' And, here are the subsequent warnings/error. • Unity and Object Creation

    - by William
    I am using unity as my IoC container. I am trying to implement a type of IProviderRepository. The concrete implementation has a constructor that accepts a type of IRepository. When I remove the constructor parameter from the concrete implementation everything works fine. I am sure the container is wired correctly. When I try to create the concrete object with the constructor I receive the following error: "The current build operation (build key Build Key[EMRGen.Infrastructure.Data.IRepository1[EMRGen.Model.Provider.Provider], null]) failed: The current type, EMRGen.Infrastructure.Data.IRepository1[EMRGen.Model.Provider.Provider], is an interface and cannot be constructed. Are you missing a type mapping? (Strategy type BuildPlanStrategy, index 3)". Is it possible to achieve the above mention functionality with Unity? Namely have Unity infer a concrete type from the Interface and also inject the constructor of the concrete type with the appropriate concrete object based on constructor parameters. Below is sample of my types defined in Unity and a skeleton class listing for what I want to achieve. IProviderRepository is implemented by ProviderRepository which has a constructor that expects a type of IRepository. <typeAlias alias="ProviderRepositoryInterface" type="EMRGen.Model.Provider.IProviderRepository, EMRGen.Model" /> <typeAlias alias="ProviderRepositoryConcrete" type="EMRGen.Infrastructure.Repositories.Providers.ProviderRepository, EMRGen.Infrastructure.Repositories" /> <typeAlias alias="ProviderGenericRepositoryInterface" type="EMRGen.Infrastructure.Data.IRepository`1[[EMRGen.Model.Provider.IProvider, EMRGen.Model]], EMRGen.Infrastructure" /> <typeAlias alias="ProviderGenericRepositoryConcrete" type="EMRGen.Infrastructure.Repositories.EntityFramework.ApplicationRepository`1[[EMRGen.Model.Provider.Provider, EMRGen.Model]], EMRGen.Infrastructure.Repositories" /> <!-- Provider Mapping--> <typeAlias alias="ProviderInterface" type="EMRGen.Model.Provider.IProvider, EMRGen.Model" /> <typeAlias alias="ProviderConcrete" type="EMRGen.Model.Provider.Doctor, EMRGen.Model" /> //Illustrate the call being made inside my class public class PrescriptionService { PrescriptionService() { IUnityContainer uc = UnitySingleton.Instance.Container; UnityServiceLocator unityServiceLocator = new UnityServiceLocator(uc); ServiceLocator.SetLocatorProvider(() => unityServiceLocator); IProviderRepository pRepository = ServiceLocator.Current.GetInstance<IProviderRepository>(); } } public class GenericRepository<IProvider> : IRepository<IProvider> { } public class ProviderRepository : IProviderRepository { private IRepository<IProvider> _genericProviderRepository; //Explict public default constructor public ProviderRepository(IRepository<IProvider> genericProviderRepository) { _genericProviderRepository = genericProviderRepository; } }

  • .Net DataGridView "Index 0 does not have a value."

    - by Ben
    I am having trouble with a DataGridView. I have a collection of 3 Items bound to the grid, when trying to delete one of the items and reload the grid. If have code of If (dlg.ShowDialog() = DialogResult.OK) Then 'Show dialog with grid on it End If On the opened dialog, I delete an item from the grid (which should in turn, delete the item from the collection, and re-load the grid), and it returns to the "If (dlg.show..." line, with the error of "A first chance exception of type 'System.IndexOutOfRangeException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll Additional information: Index 2 does not have a value. " (I have break into debugger set on for common language runtime errors) I can understand this error if i were trying to access any cells, row or columns, but im not, and then I would expect the exception to stop on the line of code that is trying to access this grid data, not the "If (dlg.ShowDialog()... " line Any ideas? Cheers

  • Howto bind a RoutedCommand in a child?

    - by Wouter
    I am having trouble binding a Command that is generated up the UI tree to a control. The following example illustrates my point, the CommandBinding in Grid does not act on the InputBindings in Window. Maybe I do not understand the point of commands, but I would like to have a nice solution for child controls to act on user input on the Window (any control on the Window). <Window x:Class="SilverFit.Menu.Wpf.WpfWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"> <Window.InputBindings> <KeyBinding Command="Close" Key="Escape"/> <MouseBinding Command="Close" MouseAction="RightClick" /> </Window.InputBindings> <Grid Name="grid"> <Grid.CommandBindings> <CommandBinding Command="Close" Executed="Close"/> </Grid.CommandBindings> </Grid> </Window>

  • Prism Commands - binding error when binding to list element ?

    - by Maciek
    I've got a ItemsControl (to be replaced by listbox) which has it's ItemsSource bound to an ObservableCollection<User> which is located in the view model. The View Model contains some DelegateCommand<T> delegates for handling commands (for instance UpdateUserCommand and RemoveUserCommand). All works fine if the buttons linked to those commands are placed outside of the DataTemplate of the control which is presenting the items. <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Users, Mode=TwoWay}" HorizontalContentAlignment="Stretch"> <ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock Grid.Column="0" Text="{Binding UserName}"/> <PasswordBox Grid.Column="1" Password="{Binding UserPass}"/> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Text="{Binding UserTypeId}"/> <Button Grid.Column="3" Content="Update" cal:Click.Command="{Binding UpdateUserCommand}" cal:Click.CommandParameter="{Binding}"/> <Button Grid.Column="4" Content="Remove" cal:Click.Command="{Binding RemoveUserCommand}" cal:Click.CommandParameter="{Binding}"/> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> </ItemsControl> What I'm trying to achieve, is : Have each row - generated by the ListView/ItemsControl - contain buttons to manage the item represented that particular row. During the runtime, the VS's output panel generated the following messages for each listbox element System.Windows.Data Error: BindingExpression path error: 'UpdateUserCommand' property not found on 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612). BindingExpression: Path='UpdateUserCommand' DataItem='ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612); target element is 'System.Windows.Controls.Button' (Name=''); target property is 'Command' (type 'System.Windows.Input.ICommand').. System.Windows.Data Error: BindingExpression path error: 'RemoveUserCommand' property not found on 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' 'ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612). BindingExpression: Path='RemoveUserCommand' DataItem='ModuleAdmin.Services.User' (HashCode=35912612); target element is 'System.Windows.Controls.Button' (Name=''); target property is 'Command' (type 'System.Windows.Input.ICommand').. Which would imply that there are binding errors present. Is there any way to make this right? or is this not the way?

  • Mouse scroll not working in a scroll viewer with a wpf datagrid and additional UI elements

    - by paladugu457
    I am trying to figure out how to get the mouse scroll working on a wpf window with a scrollviewer and a datagrid within it. The WPF and C# code is below <ScrollViewer HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto"> <Grid> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition/> <RowDefinition/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid Grid.Row="0"> <Border Name="DataGridBorder" BorderThickness="2" Margin="1" CornerRadius="4" BorderBrush="#FF080757"> <dg:DataGrid AutoGenerateColumns="False" Name="ValuesDataGrid" BorderThickness="0" CanUserResizeColumns="True" FontWeight="Bold" HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" CanUserReorderColumns="False" IsReadOnly="True" IsTextSearchEnabled="True" AlternationCount="2" SelectionMode="Extended" GridLinesVisibility="All" HeadersVisibility="Column" CanUserAddRows="False" CanUserDeleteRows="False" CanUserResizeRows="False" CanUserSortColumns="False" RowDetailsVisibilityMode="Collapsed" SelectedIndex="0" RowStyle="{StaticResource CognitiDataGridRowStyle}" > <dg:DataGrid.Columns> <dg:DataGridTemplateColumn Header="Title" > <dg:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" > <TextBlock HorizontalAlignment="Left" VerticalAlignment="Center" Text="{Binding Path=Name}" FontWeight="Normal" /> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> </dg:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> </dg:DataGridTemplateColumn> </dg:DataGrid.Columns> </dg:DataGrid> </Border> </Grid> <Button Grid.Row="1" Height="90" >hello world</Button> </Grid> </ScrollViewer> and the C# code is as follows public partial class Window1 : Window { public Window1() { InitializeComponent(); initialize(); } public void initialize() { ObservableCollection<MyObject> testList = new ObservableCollection<MyObject>(); for (int i = 0; i < 20; i++) { MyObject my = new MyObject("jack " + i); testList.Add(my); } ValuesDataGrid.ItemsSource = testList; } } public class MyObject { public string Name { get; set; } public MyObject(string name) { Name = name; } } The problem i am facing is that when using the mouse to scroll, it works fine when it is over the button but as soon as i move the mouse pointer over the grid and try to scroll, nothing happens. I am able to move the scrollbar of the scrollviewer directly though. I am still a wpf novice so any help on how to get the mouse scroll to work over the datagrid would be appreciated. I am guessing there should be a pretty easy solution for this but I havent been able to figure it out

  • WPF - ListBox ignores Style When ItemsSource is bound

    - by Andy T
    Hi, I have created styled a ListBox in WPF so that it is rendered as a checkbox list. When I populate the ListBox's items manually, the styling works perfectly. However, when I instead bind the ItemsSource of the ListBox to a static resource (an ItemsControl containing the required items), the styling is completely dropped. Here's the style: <Style x:Key="CheckBoxListStyle" TargetType="ListBox"> <Style.Resources> <Style TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Grid Margin="2"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" /> <ColumnDefinition /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding IsSelected, RelativeSource={RelativeSource TemplatedParent}, Mode=TwoWay}"/> <ContentPresenter Grid.Column="1" Margin="2,0,0,0" /> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </Style.Resources> <Setter Property="ItemsPanel"> <Setter.Value> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <WrapPanel Orientation="Vertical" /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="0" /> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent" /> </Style> Here's the code for the ListBox that shows the style correctly: <ListBox x:Name="ColumnsList" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="0" Style="{StaticResource CheckBoxListStyle}" BorderThickness="1"> <ListBox.Items> <ListBoxItem>Test</ListBoxItem> <ListBoxItem>Test2</ListBoxItem> <ListBoxItem>Test3</ListBoxItem> </ListBox.Items> </ListBox> Here's the code for the ListBox that ignores the style: <ListBox x:Name="ColumnsList2" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="0" Style="{StaticResource CheckBoxListStyle}" BorderThickness="1" ItemsSource="{Binding Source={StaticResource Test1}, Path=Items}"> </ListBox> Hoping someone can help - I'm pretty new to all this and have tried everything I can think of, but everything I've read leads me to believe that setting ItemsSource should have the same outcome as setting the items manually, so I can't see any reason why this would not work. Thanks, AT

  • How to retrieve JSON Data Array from ExtJS Store

    - by user291928
    Is there a method allowing me to return my stored data in an ExtJS Grid Panel exactly the way I loaded it using: var data = ["value1", "value2"] Store.loadData(data); I would like to have a user option to reload the Grid, but changes to the store need to be taken into account. The user can make changes and the grid is dynamically updated, but if I reload the grid, the data that was originally loaded is shown even though the database has been updated with the new changes. I would prefer not to reload the page and just let them reload the grid data itself with the newly changed store. I guess im looking for something like this: var data = Store.getData(); //data = ["value1", "value2"] after its all said and done. Or is there a different way to refresh the grid with new data that I am not aware of. Even using the proxy still uses the "original" data, not the new store. Thanks in advance

  • Keeping WPF grids from getting out of parent bounds

    - by Jonathan Perry
    In my UI, I have a big grid with two columns and one row. in the right column, I have a grid with three rows where in the top row I have a user control, and in the two bottom rows I have two Expander objects, each containing an ItemsControl with a list that gets populated in runtime. Sometimes, that list gets really long and "spills" from the screen towards the bottom. What I want to do is to allow the user to see both expanders, be able to expand or collapse them while keeping them both in sight. I tried wrapping them in WrapPanels or StackPanel but to no avail. Here's some code to help explain my problem: <Grid Grid.Row="1" x:Name="grid1"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Expander Grid.Row="0" Header="Expander 1" x:Name="expander1" FontSize="14" IsExpanded="True"> <Expander.Background> <LinearGradientBrush EndPoint="0.5,1" StartPoint="0.5,0"> <GradientStop Color="#FFC4C4C4" Offset="0" /> <GradientStop Color="White" Offset="1" /> </LinearGradientBrush> </Expander.Background> <ContentPresenter Content="{Binding ViewModel.OpenAlerts, ElementName=m_viewControl}" ClipToBounds="True"/> </Expander> <Expander Grid.Row="1" x:Name="expander2" Header="Expander 2" FontSize="14" IsExpanded="True"> <Expander.Background> <LinearGradientBrush EndPoint="0.5,1" StartPoint="0.5,0"> <GradientStop Color="#FFC4C4C4" Offset="0" /> <GradientStop Color="White" Offset="1" /> </LinearGradientBrush> </Expander.Background> <ContentPresenter Content="{Binding ViewModel.ClosedAlerts, ElementName=m_viewControl}" ClipToBounds="True"/> </Expander> </Grid> Any assistance or tips will be highly appreciated! Thanks, John.

  • Can we have ExtJs components inside a Flex driven page

    - by shafi
    Hi, I am working on a page which mainly consists of Charts and Grids. Thought that Flex would be the best fit with some cool effects. But however, I now feel that ExtJs grid looks better than Flex data grid. My question is whether there is any possibility / mechanism to embed Ext JS grid into a Flex page. Lets say my main page has a Flex tab panel. In first tab, I would like to see 'Flex Chart' and in second tab I would want to see 'ExtJS grid'. I would also want to know of any Flex Data grid plugin (if exists), which looks/works just like Ext Js grid. Thanks & Regards Shafi

  • WPF: Text wrapping not working

    - by Ben
    I've got a grid defined simply: <Grid Margin="0,5,0,0"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="50"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="50"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="48"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"></ColumnDefinition> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> Then I'm trying to bind some content like this: <TextBlock TextWrapping="Wrap" Grid.Column="3" Text="{Binding Text}"> Set up like this, the text won't wrap. It simply expands the column to fit the text. If I set the Width to a fixed amount on the last column, wrapping works as expected. The problem there is that if the user widens the window, the column stays at a fixed size. How can I get the column to size dynamically with the width of the grid, but still wrap the text within it?

    I have a GroupBox, which is defined like this <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:Groupbox" > <Style TargetType="local:GroupBox"> <Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="DarkGray"/> <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="1"/> <Setter Property="Padding" Value="6"/> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="local:GroupBox"> <Grid Background="{TemplateBinding Background}"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"/> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"/> <RowDefinition Height="*"/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Border BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}" Grid.Row="1" Grid.RowSpan="2" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" CornerRadius="3"> <Border.Clip> <GeometryGroup FillRule="EvenOdd"> <RectangleGeometry x:Name="FullRect" Rect="0,0,300,200"/> <RectangleGeometry x:Name="HeaderRect" Rect="6,0,100,100"/> </GeometryGroup> </Border.Clip> </Border> <ContentPresenter Grid.Row="2" ContentTemplate="{TemplateBinding ContentTemplate}" Content="{TemplateBinding Content}" Margin="{TemplateBinding Padding}"/> <ContentControl x:Name="HeaderContainer" Margin="6,0,0,0" Grid.Row="0" Grid.RowSpan="2" HorizontalAlignment="Left"> <ContentPresenter Margin="3,0,3,0" ContentTemplate="{TemplateBinding HeaderTemplate}" Content="{TemplateBinding Header}"/> </ContentControl> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </ResourceDictionary> And i'm using this control like this <Controls:GroupBox x:Name="GroupBox"> <Controls:GroupBox.HeaderTemplate> <DataTemplate> <CheckBox "Header" x:Name="cbHeader"/> </DataTemplate> </Controls:GroupBox.HeaderTemplate> <Controls:GroupBox> So, well, my questions - how can i bind property IsEnabled of GroupBox to the Checkbox property IsChecked? Thanks in advance.

  • history.go(-1) function not refreshing server side controls

    - by Sumit Gupta
    hi, I am using a dropdown, a devexpress grid view and a button on my page. My gropdown contains the months in the format MM/YYYY, and on dropdown's selection change the data binds in the grid view. the functionality of button is to go on previous page as same as back button of browser. Now, my prob is that if i select any month and then select another month, the data changes. but now when i click on back button having onclick ="history.go(-1)", changes the data on the grid view but the month in the dropdown remains the same. For example: Suppose, first i have month selected as 02/2010 At this time the data in grid view is for exapmle 01234 now when i select month 03/2010 the data in grid changes to 56789 now when i click on back button, then data in grid changes to 01234 but the month in dropdown remains to 03/2010. Please help me for this.. Thanks in advance for all who will give solution for this.
