    Hello! Is there a source, which I could use to learn some of the most used and popular practices regarding Actor-/Agent-oriented programming. My primary concern is about parallelism and distribution limited to the mentioned scheme - Actors, message passing. Should I begin with Erlang documentation or maybe there is any kind of book that describes the most important building blocks when programming Actor-oriented? Thank you! Also, I don't claim this to be a bug in FF, I just wonder if there is another header I can set which means "This document will never change, don't bother me again".

  • MVC 4 iframe embedded in desktop page showing mobile view

    I use Index.cshtml and Index.mobile.cshtml. My Index.cshtml is a mobile app landing page containing an iframe to live demo the mobile web app. Index.mobile.cshtml is the mobile web app itself. The problem is, the iframe keeps loading the desktop version itself. As far as I know, I cannot configure the user agent of the iframe to a mobile type. It should be solvable with some routing but I couldn't figure out how!?

  • Android WebView and default browser with different UserAgent

    From some reason on several android devices, I'm getting different User Agent from the browser and from my application's WebView. I have used this line of code to get the UA in the app: new WebView(this).getSettings().getUserAgentString(); This is the part with the difference The application retruns: HTC One X Build While the browser returns: HTC_One_X Build Notice the underscores in the browser's version. Any ideas what causes the difference? Tx!

  • PHP apache_request_headers() diagrees with reality (as confirmed by Firebug): why?

    I have written a web app in PHP which makes use of Ajax requests (made using YUI.util.Connect.asyncRequest). Most of the time, this works fine. The request is sent with an X-Requested-With value of XMLHttpRequest. My PHP controller code uses apache_request_headers() to check whether an incoming request is Ajax or not and all works well. But not always. Intermittently, I'm getting a situation where the Ajax request is sent (and Firebug confirms for me that the headers on the request include an X-Requested-With of XMLHttpRequest) but apache_request_headers() is not returning that header in its list.
