    I have installed xcode 3.2 with iphone SDK. (without Mac OS 10.4 SDK). WHen i create new project i only got these options for Mac OS -- Application -- Framework and Library -- Application plugin -- System plugin --Other But a book named: Programming Object C 2.0. From which i am learning object C. Its showing XCode with these templates for Mac OS --Application --Audio Units --Automater actions --Bundles --Command Line Utility --dynamic library --Framework --Java --Kernal Extensions --Standard Apple plugin --Static Library --Other I need the Command Line Utility template so that can create sample projects mentioned in book.

    I have a strange bug that occurs in IE7/XP and IE8/Vista on my website. IE sends two cookies named PHPSESSID. How to reproduce: Clear cookies in IE (not necessary if you never visited unisender.com). Visit unisender.com (exactly without www to reproduce!) and it will redirect to www.unisender.com Login with any valid username and password (I've registered username testmsdn with password testmsdn - feel free to use for testing) Run your favourite capture-the-traffic program (I prefer wireshark) Now click any menu link (e.g. "messages") Look at captured traffic - you will see that IE sends double PHPSESSID cookie (and you are logged out after click because of this). It seems like first PHPSESSID is from unisender.com and second from www.unisender.com.   • Windows Workflow Foundation 4.0 Designer Rehosting with Custom Activities

    I have several WF 4.0 workflows that I have created for an application my company is developing. Some of these workflows are simple, and some are very complex (i.e. many steps, several different types of activities, custom activities). For many of these workflows, I have created several custom code activities to support some internal process types. The workflows work great and we have had very few problems when it comes to maintaining them within VS 2010. We now want to move that responsibility off to our business users, so I have created a WPF application to rehost the WF designer (according to the MS samples). My problem is that when I open one of the workflows that contains custom code activities, those activities are represented as red boxes with the error message of "Activity could not be loaded because of errors in XAML." I have done research and have found several posts that mention that this is usually a problem with namespacing and referencing. The rehosted designer is in a namespace similar to this: Company.Application.Workflow.Designer And the custom code activities are contained within a separate custom workflow library, which I have included as a reference in the designer project. The library's namespace is similar to this: Company.Application.Workflow.Data.Activities As I have mentioned, the library is set as a reference in the designer's project, and I see it being copied to the output when I build the project. I have also included the reference in the XAML of the main designed application. What am I missing?

  • How can I access the iPhone favorite numbers using Objective C?

    Hi! I am writing an application using Objective C and I want to access the iPhone favorites numbers (the ones that can be found in the "Phone" application). I've searched among the properties specific to each contact from the Address Book and I even had a look at the Address Book database, but I couldn't identify which property or field from the database indicates which are the favorite numbers. Since "Phone" is an application installed by Apple on the iPhone I was expecting to find such a property in the database. However, I think that it might be possible that this application stores the favorite numbers independently of the Address Book database. Has anyone encountered this problem before and if yes, could you please clarify this matter for me? Thanks a lot! Cipri

  • App closes after facebook login in IOS 5

    I am using facebook sdk 3.1 framework for my application. The login process works successfully and returns to the app after facebook login both in simulator(iOS 6.0 and 5.0) and in iPad(iOS 6). But When the same is deployed in IPad with IOS 5, after login, it does not return back to my application and shows a blank white Screen or sometimes my application closes. I dont know what went wrong in iOS 5 and facebook sdk 3.1 framework, also i am not getting any logs to debug...   • accessing specific icons from a Multi-Icon (.ico) file

    Dear community. I would like to know if the following is possible. I have an .ico file, containing several sizes and color depths. However, it also contains some custom made sizes, that are going to be used inside my application. The application accesses the icon trough a resource DLL. (The intention is that the DLL is provided by a third party developer) Is there any way to pinpoint exactly which of the icons in the .ico file to use in my application? Like I want this size to appear here on my GUI etc. For instance, I am making a button in my application, and I would like my custom made 15*32 icon from my .ico file to be displayed on the button. I know this is possible by adding the bitmaps one at a time to the resource DLL, giving each of them a unique name. But it would be easier, if I am able to identify the different contents of the icon file instead. Is it possible in some way to look at the icon file as an array of icons or something like that? Any help is much appreciated. It seems quite hard to find information about this subject on the web. Oh, and I am writing my application in C#, using MFC DLL (from Visual C++ to create my resource DLL)

    I am working on improving the performance of DataAccess Layer of an existing Asp.Net Web Application. The scenerios are. Its a web based application in Asp.Net. DataAccess layer is built using NHibernate 1.2 and exposed as WCF Service. The Entity class is marked with DataContract. Lazy loading is not used and because of the eager-fetching of the relations there is huge no of database objects are loaded in the memory. No of hits to the database is also high. For example I profiled the application using NHProfiler and there were about 50+ sql calls to load one of the Entity object using the primary key. I also can not change code much as its an existing live application with no NUnit test cases at all. Please can I get some suggestions here?

    i will need to store 3 tables of data instead of implementing an entire database backend, i just want to store the record for these tables in application.settings has anyone done this before? i dont care about security is it advisable to do it with application settings? how else would you do it? perhaps storing a matrix in application.settings would be OK?

  • Image animation stops on minimizing and restoring

    I have a .NET WinForms application with an animated GIF in a PictureBox. It's a loading animation, shown while a BackgroundWorker does some processing in another thread. I load the image by setting the Image property and it animates on its own. All is fine until I minimize and restore the application. At which point, the image stops animating and just displays whatever frame it was last on. Note that: The background thread still runs fine and none of the "business" of the application is affected. Subsequently-displayed animated GIFs do work fine (unless the application is minimized again). Does anyone know what causes this problem? Any workarounds?

  • Changing window focus on OS X

    As part of an InstallationCheck script on OS X I need to use finder dialogs to let the user browse for files. When I'm done I want to move the installer application up front again so that the user can easily continue with the installation. I have already tried the simple: tell application "Installer" to activate This does not work because as long as I am inside the script the Installer application is unresponsive and when i try to activate it the applescript will try to wait until Installer responds, effectively locking the program until the InstallationCheck script times out. So basically I need a way to focus an application that works even if it is currently unresponsive. Is there any way to do this either from an applescript or directly from the perl script?

UPDATE: sorry, I didn't clarify enought. Here's my situation: I have developed a pretty simple application in C#: embeded browser which displayes static webpages with an option of searching inside of these html pages. I'm using simple textbox, buttons components for this. The application will be distribuited for people wich have very old PCs, even with windows 95.     Hi recently I finished my WM6 Pro.6.1 application and happily learned that to put it into marketplace, it has to pass some tests. -Application Verifier -Microsoft Hopper Test Tool for Windows Mobile 6.0, 6.1, and 6.5 I use VS 2008 and windows mobile 6.1 and I couldnt run none of these tests, Hopeer tool has a FocusApp c++ application which I must build and run before testing, but its a VS 2005 project and I couldnt run it on VS 200..and without it I can't test anything. any ideas how can I build that for VS2008?
