• Youtube API upload - Incomplete Multipart body error

  Hello, I'm trying to upload videos in Youtube through HttpWebRequest. Everything seems to be fine when uploading following the example given in API documentation. I see that request is being formed correctly, with content and token sent but I receive "Incomplete multipart body" as response. • C# Can anyone help convert this VB Webservice?

  I can't figure it out for the life of me.. I'm using SQL DataSet Query to iterate to a Class Object which acts as a Data Model for Flex... Initially I used VB.net but now need to convert to C#.. This conversion is done except for the last section where I create a DataRow arow and then try to add the DataSet Values to the Class (Results Class)... I get an error message.. • Trouble with client side validation using Struts 2. Xml based validation rules not recognized.

  Hi, This is my first post to ask a question on stack overflow and my issue is that when I don't see a client side validation error message when I don't enter any values for that field even when it is configured as required. The input page is reloaded but no error message is seen. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My scenario is given below: I have a simple form where I have a pull down menu called selection criterion. A value must be selected. If a value is not selected, then the page should reload with configured error message. • How to use JAXB to process messages from two separate schemas (with same rootelement name)

  Hi We have a client that is sending xml messages that are produced from two separate schemas. We would like to process them in a single application, since the content is related. We cannot modify the client's schema that they are using to produce the XML messages... We can modify our own copies of the two schema (or binding.jxb) -- if it helps -- in order to enable our JAXB processing of messages created from the two separate schemas. Unfortunately, both schemas have the same root element name (see below). • Array not showing in Jlist but filled in console

• JPA2 adding referential contraint to table complicates criteria query with lazy fetch, need advice

  Following is a lot of writing for what I feel is a pretty simple issue. Root of issue is my ignorance, not looking so much for code but advice. Table: Ininvhst (Inventory-schema inventory history) column ihtran (inventory history transfer code) using an old entity mapping I have: @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "IHTRAN") private String ihtran; ihtran is really a foreign key to table Intrnmst ("Inventory Transfer Master" which contains a list of "transfer codes"). This was not expressed in the database so placed a referential constraint on Ininvhst re-generating JPA2 entity classes produced: @JoinColumn(name = "IHTRAN", referencedColumnName = "TMCODE", nullable = false) @ManyToOne(optional = false) private Intrnmst intrnmst; Now previously I was using JPA2 to select the records/(Ininvhst entities) from the Ininvhst table where "ihtran" was one of a set of values. I used in.value() to do this... here is a snippet: cq = cb.createQuery(Ininvhst.class); ... In in = cb.in(transactionType); //Get in expression for transacton types for (String s : transactionTypes) { //has a value in = in.value(s);//check if the strings we are looking for exist in the transfer master } predicateList.add(in); My issue is that the Ininvhst used to contain a string called ihtran but now it contains Ininvhst... Or should I use a projection to somehow return Ininvhst along with the ihtran string which is now part of the Intrnmst entity. Or should I use a projection to return Ininvhst and somehow limit Intrnmst just just the ihtran string. Further information: I am using the resulting list of selected Ininvhst objects in a web application, the class which contains the list of Ininvhst objects is transformed into a json object. There are probably quite a few serialization methods that would navigate the object graph the problem is that my current fetch strategy is lazy so it hits the join entity (Intrnmst intrnmst) and there is no Entity Manager available at that point. At this point I have prevented the object from serializing the join column but now I am missing a critical piece of data. I think I've said too much but not knowing enough I don't know what you JPA experts need. What I would like is my original object to have both a string object and be able to join on the same column (ihtran) and have it as a string too, but if this isn't possible or advisable I want to hear what I should do and why. Pseudo code/English is more than fine.

• Cutting large XML file into smaller pieces in C#

  I have a problem that I'm working on for quite some time now. I have an XML file with over 50000 records (one record has 3 levels). This file is used by one of my applications to control document sending (the record holds, among other informations, the type of document that has to be sent to a certain person). So in my application I load the XML file into a XmlDocument, and then by using SelectNodes method, I create a XmlNodeList from which I read the data I want. The process is like this - our worker takes the persons ID card (simple eith barcode) and reads it with barcode reader. When the barcode value has been read, my application finds the person with that ID in the XML file, and stores the type of the document into a string variable. Then the worker takes the document and reads its barcode, and if the value of documents barcode and the value in the value in the string variable match, the application makes a record that document of type xxxxxxxx will be sent to the person with ID yyyyyyyyy. Expected result: EventSource opens a stream connection to the server, the server keeps it open for a safe time (say, 2 minutes) so that I am protected from thread leaking from dead clients, as new message events are received by the server (and enqueued to a thread safe collection such as BlockingCollection) they are pushed in the open stream to the client: message 1 received at T+0ms, pushed to the client at T+x message 2 received at T+200ms, pushed to the client at T+x+200ms Actual behaviour: EventSource opens a stream connection to the server, the server keeps it open until a message event arrives (thanks to long polling) once a message is received, MVC pushes the message and closes the connection. EventSource has to reopen the connection and this happens after a couple of seconds. message 1 received at T+0ms, pushed to the client at T+x message 2 received at T+200ms, pushed to the client at T+x+3200ms This is not OK as it defeats the purpose of using SSE as the clients start again reconnecting as in normal polling and message delivery gets delayed. Now, the question: is there a native way to keep the connection open after sending the first message and sending further messages on the same connection?

• C++ Simple thread with parameter (no .net)

  I've searched the internet for a while now and found different solutions but then all don't really work or are to complicated for my use. I used C++ until 2 years ago so it might be a bit rusty :D I'm currently writing a program that posts data to an URL. It only posts the data nothing else. For posting the data I use curl, but it blocks the main thread and while the first post is still running there will be a second post that should start. In the end there are about 5-6 post operations running at the same time. Now I want to push the posting with curl into another thread. One thread per post. The thread should get a string parameter with the content what to push. I'm currently stuck on this. Tried the WINAPI for windows but that crashes on reading the parameter. (the second thread is still running in my example while the main thread ended (waiting on system("pause")). It would be nice to have a multi plattform solution, because it will run under windows and linux!   I am trying to define a full specialization of std::basic_string< char, char_traits<char>, allocator<char> > which is typedef'd (in g++) by the <string> header. The problem is, if I include <string> first, g++ sees the typedef as an instantiation of basic_string and gives me errors. If I do my specialization first then I have no issues. I should be able to define my specialization after <string> is included. What do I have to do to be able to do that?   Preface I'm writing a template language (don't bother trying to talk me out of it), and in it, there are two kinds of user-extensible nodes. TemplateTags and TemplateDirectives. A TemplateTag closely relates to an HTML tag -- it might look something like div(class="green") { "content" } And it'll be rendered as <div class="green">content</div> i.e., it takes a bunch of attributes, plus some content, and spits out some HTML. TemplateDirectives are a little more complicated. They can be things like for loops, ifs, includes, and other such things. They look a lot like a TemplateTag, but they need to be processed differently. For example, @for($i in $items) { div(class="green") { $i } } Would loop over $items and output the content with the variable $i substituted in each time. So.... I'm trying to decide on a way to define these directives now. Template Tags The TemplateTags are pretty easy to write. They look something like this: [TemplateTag] static string div(string content = null, object attrs = null) { return HtmlTag("div", content, attrs); } Where content gets the stuff between the curly braces (pre-rendered if there are variables in it and such), and attrs is either a Dictionary<string,object> of attributes, or an anonymous type used like a dictionary. I want to make it as easy as possible. What if the user doesn't know how to render templates, or doesn't know that he's supposed to? Maybe I should pass in a Template instance pre-filled with the content instead? Or maybe only let him tamper w/ the template variables, and then automatically render the content at the end? OTOH, for things like "if" if the condition fails, then the template wouldn't need to be rendered at all. So there's a lot of flexibility I need to allow in here. Thoughts?

  I currently have my web.xml configured to catch 404s and send them to my spring controller which will perform a search given the original URL request. Using a logger in my JBoss setup, I can see that when I test this search controller by going to a non-existent page, the following occurs: Server can't find the request Request is sent to 404 error page (in this case my search controller) Search controller performs search Search controller returns view name (for this illustration, we'll assume test.jsp is returned) Based off of server logger, I can see that org.springframework.web.servlet.view.JstlView is initialized once my search controller returns the view name (so I can assume it is being picked up correctly by the InternalResourceViewResolver) Server attempts to return content to browser resulting in a 404! A couple things confuse me about this: I'm not 100% sure why this isn't resolving when test.jsp clearly exists under the /WEB-INF/jsp/ directory. Even if there was some other problem, why would this result in a 404? Shouldn't a 404 error page that results in another 404 theoretically create an infinite loop? Thanks for any help or pointers! The type base64Binary of arg2 seems not the right one? In java it's a DataHandler. By testing it with low memory on the java side we can see it is not using streaming as it fails with OOM. Does someone knows if this is possible, and if so how? Our environment: server: jdk1.6, jaxws 2.1.7 client: C# 2.0, visual studio 2008

• Send large JSON data to WCF Rest Service

  Hi I have a client web page that is sending a large json object to a proxy service on the same domain as the web page. The proxy (an ashx handler) then forwards the request to a WCF Rest Service. Using a WebClient object (standard .net object for making a http request) The JSON successfully arrives at the proxy via a jQuery POST on the client webpage. However, when the proxy forwards this to the WCF service I get a Bad Request - Error 400 This doesn't happen when the size of the json data is small The WCF service contract looks like this [WebInvoke(Method = "POST", BodyStyle = WebMessageBodyStyle.Wrapped, RequestFormat = WebMessageFormat.Json, ResponseFormat = WebMessageFormat.Json)] [OperationContract] CarConfiguration CreateConfiguration(CarConfiguration configuration); And the DataContract like this [DataContract(Namespace = "")] public class CarConfiguration { [DataMember(Order = 1)] public int CarConfigurationId { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 2)] public int UserId { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 3)] public string Model { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 4)] public string Colour { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 5)] public string Trim { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 6)] public string ThumbnailByteData { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 6)] public string Wheel { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 7)] public DateTime Date { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 8)] public List<string> Accessories { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 9)] public string Vehicle { get; set; } [DataMember(Order = 10)] public Decimal Price { get; set; } } When the ThumbnailByteData field is small, all is OK. When it is large I get the 400 error What are my options here? I've tried increasing the MaxBytesRecived config setting but that is not enough Any ideas?
