  • How can I use Zend Studio for Java development?

    I have the Zend Studio, which is a PHP editor based on Eclipse. I want to use it now to develop some Java. I think Zend has disabled all the Java centric project/views/perspectives that come with Eclipse (or may be not included the right plugins?) What steps should I take to use it, instead of having two Eclipse instances open at the same time.

  • Separate zone exceptions for each view in BIND

    Problem: Separate zones by query source network and return different records for LAN clients compared to WAN clients. I've implemented this at home on a small alix router with Bind 9.4. One view called "lan" and one view called "wan". The "lan" view had just the root.hints file and one zone. The "wan" view had many other zones, including a copy of the one zone from the "lan" view, but with different records. Querying domain1.tld from the LAN would give me local records. Querying domain1.tld from the WAN would give me external records. Querying domain2.tld from the LAN would give me the same records as from the WAN as it only existed in the WAN view. Now I'm trying to re-implement this on a larger scale and suddenly my view is unable to query anything outside itself. This is natural according to the bind-users list and they suggest I copy all my views into my LAN view. I'm hoping someone here has a better solution because that means I'll have to copy, and maintain, thousands of zone files in multiple views. This is unfeasible. This works fine both at home and in my new Bind 9.7 on a larger scale. The difference is that at home I have somehow managed to make my LAN get remote records from domains in master.zones, without specifying those zones as duplicates in the "intranet" view. Trying this on a larger scale with Bind 9.7 I get no results at all except for the zones specified in the view. What am I missing? I've tried the same configuration for Bind 9.7.

    In OWA (Exchange Outlook) 2003 calendar, there was a week view, which was a simple list type view, showing the day, time, and details. In OWA 2010, this is gone and the week view shows a more graphical view with boxes spanning the time slots. It is very difficult to read when you have many appointments. Is there a way to get a list style view, or some way to customize the views in OWA 2010 so I can build one?

    I'm trying to do a nightly backup of a SQL Server 2005 database to get the leanest, smallest file that includes all the table data, stored procedures, views, and functions. I'm downloading and saving this daily in case the server isn't available and I need to just get some data out. I don't care about the logs or any other parts of the DB but the data, procs, tables, and functions. What's the easiest way to get just this information backed up?

    Is it safe to optimize a SQL Server 2005 SAP R/3 database using Database Tuning Advisor raccomandatations? We are experiencing very low performance on a dedicated SAP database because of intense read operations ad the db and DTA suggest to create about 25 indexes and 100 stats. I am not an expert of SAP and I am quite surprised to see that this database has about 56.000 tables and 6500 views (120 GB of data). Thank you all for help

Static is a sub-application using a not managed application pool. On Website bindings I've set local.domain.com to have access through port 80. I want to access the Static app using static.domain.com, but I don't find the option to configure the binding. How is it possible to configure like that?

  • How should I interpret site analytics with 11 pageviews in an 3 second visit?

    I'm using google analytics and recently i've noticed some weird trends going on. I have a lot of visits that last mere seconds but mark several page views... more than a normal human can see in that range of time. A specific case is that the only visitor from Ireland i've had until now recorded 11 pageviews in a 3 second visit. Are these crawlers? Shouldn't google analytics filter those out?

Other than synonym'ing all of the application owned tables into a new account (or making the synonyms public), how would I go about doing this?     Hi all, I'm trying to use url_for(:back) to create a redirect leading back to a previous page upon a user's logging in. I've had it working successfully for when the user just goes to the login page on his or her own. However, when the user is redirected to the login page due to accessing a page requiring that the user be authenticated, the redirect sends the user back to the page before the one s/he had tried to access with insufficient permissions. I'm trying to modify my login controller action to deal with the redirect properly. My plan is to have a query string parameter "redirect" that is used when a forced redirect occurs. In the controller, if that parameter exists that URL is used; otherwise, url_for(:back) is used, or if that doesn't work (due to lack of HTTP_REFERER), then the user is redirected to the site's home page.   • Facebook Connect icon isn't showing up in Internet Explorer

    I'm working on a site that is using Facebook Connect and recently made some changes so that the main pages are cached and if you are not logged in (checked with an ajax call) it loads the Facebook Connect javascript and renders the connect button into the page. This works perfectly everywhere except Internet Explorer 7 and 8. The weird part is I render the buttons into a hidden Sign Up / Sign In form and when you show either of those the Connect buttons appear. You can take a look here and you will see the button in Firefox and not Internet Explorer. If you click Sign In the button will show up.     I'm trying to create a Facebook Connect application that displays a friend invite dialog within the page using Facebook's Javascript API (through a FBMLPopupDialog). The trouble is to display a friend invite dialog you use a multi-friend form which requires an action="url" attribute that represents the URL to redirect your page to when the user completes or skips the form. The problem is that I want to just close the FBMLPopupDialog (the same behavior as if the user just hit the 'X' button on the popup dialog). The best I can do is redirect the user back to the page they were on basically a reload but they lose all AJAX/Flash application state. I'm wondering if any Facebook Connect developers have run into this issue and have a good way to simply display a friend invite "lightbox" dialog within their website where they don't want to "refresh" or "redirect" when the user finishes.     Even If the url is same can i go to different action using Html.RouteLink and Action Link.Like when i click on news link i will go to news details.The url of this page is http://localhost:1390/en-US/latestnews/125.Now if i select the ddl of language in the site header in this pagei need to go to the home page of the site.The ddl (on change) will take the same url but this time it needs to go to action in the sane controller.
