  I am trying to build a standalone qt application (built on ubuntu and deployed on Red Hat 5.3, both 64 bits) after building a qt application that is statically linked to the qt library I tried to run the program on red hat and got an error saying libc.so.6 was not found and that GLIBC_2.9 or GLIBC_2.10 is not installed and needed. I tried doing a yum install glibc but then I get a message saying that glibc is up to date (its version is 2.0) I guees I am going to restart the build process but this time from a red hat installation. What do you sugges I should do in this case. My goal is to build a standalone qt application that only needs to run on red hat 5 (im pretty sure there is also going to be an issue with fontconfig.so but I can simply provide this library directly in the same directory as the app)

The problem is that i don't get make references to my model classes defined in the first project.   I use TiddlyWiki for work-notes. I already have pretty large wiki, but now I want to add math-support. As far as I understand what is written here, all I would have to do to use ASCIIMathML in my wiki would be including the script ASCIIMathML.js. Doesn't work (no effect at all). Then I found this plugin for TiddlyWiki, but when I import it to my wiki, it gives me an error in one of the regexp strings. When I download that wiki directly, ASCIIMath does not work anymore, even though I have the script in the same directory. Does anyone have a solution available, how I can add ASCIIMath to my existing TiddlyWiki?

  I'm trying out the FlasBuilder ide with ColdFusion 8 on OS X. When I try to create a new project, I get stuck at the server setup screen that forces you to validate your paths for your ColdFusion root folder and your webroot. Every combination I try says either "LiveCycle Data Services is not installed at the specified location" or "Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml." The flex-config.xml file is sitting in that directory. Is there some trick to getting this to work?

  I have a python source distribution, and it depends on some other modules that I've also made. The directory tree looks like this. I've written a setup.py file for one of those modules (pydirac225, for those of you who are following along at home), and I want to have that setup.py called from the main setup.py? Another module dependency (pysoundtouch14) has a setup.py file, but the contents of it are basically pasted into the main setup.py script. It seems more modular to allow each of these components to specify how they are set up, and allow the main setup file to invoke their setup scripts individually. Is there a standard way to deal with this issue? To recap: I have some code that depends on other modules: should the other module's setup code go in the main setup.py, or is there a way to have my code's setup.py invoke their setup.py files?

  I have a project that generates text (representing an interface and a class) based on metadata. I would like to take this generated code and insert it as a new class and interface directly into the currently opened solution under a specific project and directory. I will create the menu tool that will generate the class but what I don't know how to do is gain access to the following items from within my custom Visual Studio Extension: Iterate the current solution and find a project to dump the generated code into. Open a new file window within Visual Studio and inject the generated text that comes from my tool directly into that window. Create a new folder in a specific project within the current solution from within my custom extension. EDIT - To clarify I need to open a new file (e.g. Right Click on a Project - Add - New Class) and insert text into it from within my custom Visual Studio Extension. Thanks

  Hi, I'm developing an ASP.NET Web app and would like the user to be able to either upload an image from their local system, or pass in a URL to an image. The image can either be a JPG or PNG. What security issues should I be concerned about doing this? I've seen various ways of embedding code within JPG files. Are there any methods in C# (or external libraries) which can confirm that a file is a JPG/PNG, otherwise throw an error? At the very least, I'm making the directory which holds uploaded images non-browsable and putting a max size limit of 1mb, but I'd like to implement further checks. Thanks for any advice.

  I have a post-update hook on my server, such that when I git push it does a pull on the live web directory. However, while the push always succeeds, the post-update hook sometimes fails. The hook is pretty simple: #!/bin/sh # # An example hook script to prepare a packed repository for use over # dumb transports. # # To enable this hook, rename this file to "post-update". cd /var/www env -i git pull I'm pushing updates from a variety of places, but sometimes I have to login as root on the server and manuall do a env -i git pull I only have to do it 20% of the time though.   Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way for a SWF to check at runtime whether it is running as an online SWF or an AIR app? I need to use the same SWF to run both online and locally, however when running as an AIR app, external assets are located in a different directory. I'd like to check whether a SWF is local or online so I can change the source path for external assets accordingly.   I am trying to deploy an ASP.NET 3.5 Web Application to my production server and I am using the Web Deployment Project for this purpose. I have a folder named MasterPages in the root of the application which contains all the master page files. When I build this project in the release mode and deploy it on to the server I am getting the below error message: Directory 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MasterPages' does not exist. Failed to start monitoring file changes. I am using ASP.NET AJAX and the ToolkitScriptManager is on the master pages. I have noticed that the MasterPages folder is missing from the release build. Can anyone help me with this?

What do I mean: I have a class foo::bar::bee defined in bee.hpp in following directory structure: foo foo/bar foo/bar/bee.hpp Doxygen, when it documents foo::bar::bee class tells that you need to include <bee.hpp>, but for my software I need <foo/bar/bee.hpp> How can I cause Doxygen to do this? Notes: FULL_PATH_NAMES is already set to default YES I do not want to provide include header explicitly for each class, because there too many of them. I want Doxygen to do this automatically.   I'm trying to create a way of deploying a set of tools (which are add-ins to 3rd party software) to my users. I would like to do the following: User Enters Serial Dlls in their directory structure is extracted to program files a file is copied to a location in ProgramData (this registers my add-ins to the 3rd party application) Online activation for software is performed Can anyone point me into the right direction for this? I had a look at deployment projects in Visual Studio but I'm not sure if they are what I'm after. Main problem is they are ugly, I would like to have a nice WPF installer, and have a more custom experience. But I guess that can be traded off if its going to make things easier. I was thinking, I could just make my own C# project that extracts the files, but I have no idea how to package them up and extract them all as part of one download (like the MSI files that the deployment projects create). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  I have seen a few questions on SO about a similar error when deploying a website, but I seem to randomly get this error when building an ASP.NET MVC website in Visual Studio. Performing a clean usually fixes it, but is there any way to avoid this completely? It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. d:...\obj\debug\package\packagetmp\web.config Note that it is complaining about the root web.config, not the one from the Views subdirectory.

  I need to set up sqllite for Perl on a Windows box. However - Perl is probably being run over the network from a central server, and I do not know what modules will be available on initial running of my script. I can guarantee Perl 5.8+ (activestate) or Perl 5.10+ (strawberry). Therefore, I need to package sqlite & the associated Perl module(s) in the project directory itself. Having Goggled around, I don't see any immediate zipfile to do this.

  My project is a computer vision java application which should implement the following : A web interface through which the form entry+images(for example a student data) will be stored into a database(Mysql) & images into directory common to my java application. Then the data & images can be retrieved from my java Gui application and I can perform the following operations of image processing through OpenCV. Actually,I want to run the face detection on images retrieved and discard the false entries(no proper face). Also the application user/admin can search an image based on text search(By Id) or By another reference image using face recognition. I am well familiar with Java but the problem is that I need a guidance on how to organise it in a stepwise manner(links appreciated).OpenCv,Php and mySql are really messy.I know doing the openCV stuff within java is real overhead but i really want to do it.But If there is any suggestion to do it elseway please guide me.So any kind of help is a ray of hope for me. • Determine file creation date in Java

  Hello, There is another similar question to mine on StackOverflow (How to get creation date of a file in Java), but the answer isn't really there as the OP had a different need that could be solved via other mechanisms. I am trying to create a list of the files in a directory that can be sorted by age, hence the need for the file creation date. I haven't located any good way to do this after much trawling of the web. Is there a mechanism for getting file creation dates? Thanks, Todd BTW, currently on a Windows system, may need this to work on a Linux system as well. Also, I can't guarantee that a file naming convention would be followed where the creation date/time is embedded in the name.

• xDebug cant find my files. Always looks in localhost

  I'm running win7-64bit, NetBeans 7.1.1 and WampServer 2.2 (which has xDebug) I've configured php.ini (xdebug.remote_enable=on, etc.) I create a directory (virtual host called example.dev) and add a test file. (c:/wamp/example/test-xdebug.php) I run debug in NetBeans and the following url displays: http://localhost/example/test-xdebug.php?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=netbeans-xdebug This fails. The browser coughs up the following error message. Not Found. The requested URL /example/test-xdebug.php was not found on this server. I add the correct path to the virtual host, and xDebug Runs Flawlessly: http://example.dev/test-xdebug.php?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=netbeans-xdebug Tried every configuration I could think of. If this is a php.ini config issue, I sure as heck cant find it. If its a NetBeans issue, there is not an option/interface to modify i (that I can find). Please illuminate! thanks sleeper

• Mac OS X bash prompt bug?

  I am trying to set my bash prompt to display the time and current directory in bold: export PS1="\[\e[1m\][\A] \w \$ \[\e[0m\]" This does apparently work, but when I use the command history (ctrl-r), after finding the command I was searching for and pressing enter, this line is not displayed correctly. Here is an example: [21:58] ~/Wyona/svn-repos/zwischengas $ (reverse-i-search)`ta': tail -F logs/log4j-cnode1.log becomes, after pressing enter: [21:58] ~/Wyona/svn-repos/zwischengas $ -F logs/log4j-cnode1.log Of course, this is not "really" a problem, since the command does work correctly, but it is still annoying. • Windows Server 2003 Hacked - Files Being Uploaded

  Blank directories are being created on my Windows Server 2003 virtual server with sub directories that are weird (for example: "88ÿ ÿ ÿÿþþ þþ13þ"). It looks like they are uploading bootlegged DVDs and pirated software. All of my bandwidth and file space is being eaten up. Could this be a shared permissions issue? Where should I look to further investigate this? My security permissions for the directory that is being hit are as followed: Administrators - ALL GRANTED IIS_WPG - Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read Internet Guest - DENY SYSTEM - ALL GRANTED Users - Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read My Event Viewer is showing many Logon/Logoff with NO IP?
