• Ignore Apache Default Server?

  I run several vhosts on our Apache server. Whenever browse the server using either it's IP address or some other name that resolves to that address, but where a virtual host entry doesn't exist for that address I get the generic Apache test page: I want to change the server so I can specify a Virtual Host to see by default instead of the Apache Default Server page. I don't want to just modify the Default Server page either. I just need to be able to specify a Virtual Host to use instead. I added the following Virtual Host: <VirtualHost _default_:*> DocumentRoot /vhosts/default/public </VirtualHost> What I am reading is supposed to take priority over all other Virtual Hosts as the default. But this doesn't seem to take priority over the Apache Default Server/Host. What do I need to do here?

• Unable to establish the connection to the file in BlackBerry

  I have tried the example code on SO to read the contents from the file in the resource directory in BlackBerry. But I am having an issue with the FileConnection. I get the following error: File system error (1003) I tried the example from here. • Application got shut down in WinXP if I close the 2nd window of that application. [closed]

  I'm using WinXP and here is my question: I run an application, such as Chrome, there would be one app in the task bar, and it's fine. Suppose a new window of Chrome opened(so there would be 2 window and 2 in the task bar), and when I close that,the 2nd one, the whole application just shutdown. And so does chrome, firefox, evernote, Becky!(the email client), even TortoiseSVN. So I think there should be a generic problem cause these applications shutdown, such as the platform - WinXP. Please give me some advice or hint, anything comes to your mind would be helpful!

• Get parameter values from method at run time

  I have the current method example: public void MethodName(string param1,int param2) { object[] obj = new object[] { (object) param1, (object) param2 }; //Code to that uses this array to invoke dynamic methods } Is there a dynamic way (I am guessing using reflection) that will get the current executing method parameter values and place them in a object array? I have read that you can get parameter information using MethodBase and MethodInfo but those only have information about the parameter and not the value it self which is what I need. So for example if I pass "test" and 1 as method parameters without coding for the specific parameters can I get a object array with two indexes { "test", 1 }? I would really like to not have to use a third party API, but if it has source code for that API then I will accept that as an answer as long as its not a huge API and there is no simple way to do it without this API. I am sure there must be a way, maybe using the stack, who knows. You guys are the experts and that is why I come here. Thank you in advance, I can't wait to see how this is done. EDIT It may not be clear so here some extra information. This code example is just that, an example to show what I want. It would be to bloated and big to show the actual code where it is needed but the question is how to get the array without manually creating one. I need to some how get the values and place them in a array without coding the specific parameters.

  Hello all, I have tags in a html list, here is an example of two tags. <div class="tags"> <ul> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag1');" href="#">tag1 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag2');" href="#">tag2 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> </ul> </div> I would like to write a function that I can pass a string to, that will match the strings in the a hyperlink i.e. "tag1" or "tag2", if there is a match then increment the number in the span, if not then add a new li. The bit I am having trouble with is how do I search for a string in the div with class tags and then when I find a match identifying the element. I can't even do the first bit as I am use to using an ID or a Class. • C# Passing objects and list of objects by reference

  I have a delegate that modifies an object. I pass an object to the delegate from a calling method, however the calling method does not pickup these changes. The same code works if I pass a List as the object. I thought all objects were passed by reference so any modifications would be reflected in the calling method? • Most effecient way to create a "slider" timeline in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?

  Alright, so here's my dilemma. I've got these two "slides" lined up, one ready to be passed into view. I have it working and all, but I can scroll over to the right to see the second slide! How could I have it you can only view the one slide? But. If you reload, you can see that you can scroll to the right of the screen and view the second slide prematurely, which is just not going to work for me. I still need to achieve the same seamless transition, but you must only be able to view one slide at a time. Also, I plan to expand with more slides, so if you're feeling lucky today, I'd really love to see an example of how I could support multiple frames. I'm very new to JavaScript (yet I know syntax rules, and general coding knowledge from other languages), so the better you explain, the more knowledgeable I can be, and I'd be very grateful for that. • Error with `Thread.Sleep` during automatic testing on TeamCity 5

  Hello, I'm having some problems executing the tests of the application I'm developing. All the tests execute normally with ReSharper and in NCover. However, the execution of one of these tests in TeamCity is generating an error. This test initializes two objects, the object under test and a simulator of a real object. Both objects will communicate throug a serial link in a representation of the real scenario. ObjectSimulator r_simulator = new ObjectSimulator(...); ObjectDriver r_driver = new ObjectDriver(...); Assert.IsTrue(r_driver.Connect() == ErrorCode.Success); The simulator just do the following in the constructor public class ObjectSimulator { ... public ObjectSimulator() { // serial port configuration m_port = new SerialPort(); m_port.DataReceived += DataReceivedEvent; } ... } The main object has two threads. The main thread of the application and a timer to refresh a watchdog timer in the real object. public ErrorCode Connect() { ... StartSynchroTimer(); Thread.Sleep(4); // to check if the timer is working properly ... } The problem seems to be comming from the Thread.Sleep() call, as when I remove it everything works. The ObjectSimulator somehow doesn't execute the DataReceived event callback. How can I resolve this issue?

I'm trying to migrate over a Makefile with the lines: neotest: mvn exec:java -Dexec.mainClass="org.dhappy.test.NeoTraverse" And I would like mvn neotest to produce what make neotest does currently. Neither the exec plugin documentation nor the Maven Ant tasks pages had any sort of straightforward example. • Is there good FAT driver for FUSE? (Lightweight, not mountlo)

  FUSE filesystem list show some FuseFat and FatFuse. Both are old, FatFuse is read-only , FuseFat is non-buildable and probably depends on glib. Now I'm using mountlo for the task (mounting USB drives in generic way without root access or suid things (except of fusermount itself)), but it looks too big for such task. Using FUSE to mount external storage devices is good both for security and for flexibility reason: the kernel sees only block reads and writes while actual code that deals with filesystem details runs with user privileges, allowing user to use custom filesystems and preventing from kernel filesystem exploits. Is there good vfat FUSE driver?

• Can I use applescript to click buttons in background?

  Sorry for this generic and probably bad-written question. I've never programmed in applescript, but I'm quite familiar with other coding language. I'm in the need of clicking on 2 sequential button inside the lobby of a software (when you click the first a popup appears and we should click 'ok'). However things are a little bit more complicated then this because: 1) the lobby of this program isn't in foreground: it's covered by other windows opened. (I don't have experience so I don't know if this represent a problem). 2) there should be a timer and the program should click this button at regular intervals. Is this feasible with applescript?

• Virtualmin - Domain / Subdomain confusion

  Hi, I've just purchased a new VPS and setup Virtualmin on it. I pointed my domain at the IP of the server and set up a new virtual server through Virtualmin. I uploaded a simple php script to check it was working and it seemed to be fine. I then created a subserver and also pointed test.mydomain.com to my IP, with the intension of having mydomain.com and test.mydomain.com both pointing to different directories on my VPS. However, once I added the subserver, I received a 403 Forbidden message if I tried to access either the new subdomain OR the existing site. I uploaded a similar php script to the subfolder and it then displayed correctly. However, I now get sent to the same script regardless of what URL I type in. I did try posting this message on the Virtualmin forum, but their filters picked it up as spam and wouldn't allow it. Can anyone help me? I'm sure it's just something simple, but this is driving me crazy! Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

  I'm running Ubuntu Linux 12.04.1 Kernel and CPU Linux 3.2.0-30-generic on x86_64. Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E31230 @ 3.20GHz, 8 cores I recently came across this problem. I'm using apache2/php latest and when I run $url_headers = @get_headers($url); Inside PHP it would normally take milliseconds to within a second to get the headers. Now recently it can take up to 15 seconds or even timeout. It has worked great for over a year and recently started doing this. I'm not sure how to go about fixing it, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

On the other hand 162 is not an isolated number because 162*162=26244 and 162*162*162 = 4251528 and the digits 2 and 4 which appear in the square are also in the cube. Write a function named isIsolated that returns 1 if its argument is an isolated number, it returns 0 if its not an isolated number and it returns -1 if it cannot determine whether it is isolated or not (see the note below). The function signature is: int isIsolated(long n) Note that the type of the input parameter is long. The maximum positive number that can be represented as a long is 63 bits long. This allows us to test numbers up to 2,097,151 because the cube of 2,097,151 can be represented as a long. However, the cube of 2,097,152 requires more than 63 bits to represent it and hence cannot be computed without extra effort. Therefore, your function should test if n is larger than 2,097,151 and return -1 if it is. If n is less than 1 your function should also return -1. • Background loading javascript into iframe without using jQuery/Ajax?

  I'm working on an offline only help system which requires loading a large amount of search-related data into an iframe before the search functionality can be used. Due to the folder structure of the project, I am unable to use Ajax-related background load methods, since the files I need are loaded a few directories "up and over." I have written some code which delays the loading of the help data until the rest of the webpage is loaded. The help data consists of a bunch of javascript files which have information about the terms, ect that exist in the help books which are installed on the system. The webpage works fine, until I start to load this help data into a hidden iframe. While the javascript files are loading, I can not use any of the webpage. Links that require a small files be downloaded for hover over effects don't show up, javascript (switching tabs on the page) has no effect. I'm wondering if this is just a limitation of the way javascript works, or if there's something else going on here.   I made the following test for my class: var mock = new Mock<IRandomNumberGenerator>(); mock.Setup(framework => framework.Generate(0, 50)) .Returns(7.0); var rnac = new RandomNumberAverageCounter(mock.Object, 1, 100); rnac.Run(); double result = rnac.GetAverage(); Assert.AreEqual(result, 7.0, 0.1); The problem here was that I changed my mind about what range of values Generate(int min, int max) would use. So in Mock.Setup() I defined the range as from 0 to 50 while later I actually called the Generate() method with a range from 1 to 100. I ran the test and it failed. I know that that is what it's supposed to happen but I was left wondering if isn't there a way to launch an exception or throw in a message when trying to run the method with wrong params. Also, if I want to run this Generate() method 10 times with different values (let's say, from 1 to 10), will I have to make 10 mock setups or something, or is there a special method for it? • Emacs - nxhtml-mode - memory full

  working with nxhtml-mode in emacs, I get problems since a few weeks. While working emacs pauses unexpectingly until showing a message in the mode line "!MEM FULL!"; obviously nxhtml-mode is filling up the memory until emacs stopps to work. I am working with html, php and css files. I have no idea how I could debug this problem in a meaningfull way. Also I seem to be the only one to have this problem, because googling did not deliver any answers to this question. I am using emacs 2.32 on an Linux Mint 11 system. I can not find out the verson of nxhtml, it says revision 829 downloaded from http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~nxhtml/nxhtml/main/revision/829. I set up a test scenario with a minimal dot-emacs just to test the nxhtml-mode. It seemed to be alright, but it does not reflect my productive set up. It would probably take a week or so to gradually include everything I used to use within emacs (e.g. org-mode) while testing whether nxhtml-mode does not like anything, which is called in my dot-emacs file. Is there another way? Can I find out, what causes the memory overload? Does anyone has similar problems using nxhtml-mode? Greetings Martin

  Possible Duplicate: Prevent mail being marked as spam I have an Ubuntu server that I want to be able to send out several thousand emails each containing a generic header and an unique pdf attachment containing an invoice. What I want to know is what would be the best way to accomplish this? Also, are there any other programs I need to install such as anti-virus / verification tools? I would like to be able to know what the procedures for this normally are as I would prefer that the emails are not send to the junk folder of the clients receiving the emails. • Page does update with details from the database after i hit a button

  I have a code and the way it should work is,when they click on NEW CUSTOMER,it takes them to test1.php where in they enter the details and they hit submit.it saves all the details in properly in the database and when i go back and hit REFRESH ,it should come up with the customer details which they had entered in previously. But what happens is, when i click on the REFRESH,it refreshes the same old page which is empty.I wanted to find out where am i missing the logic.Thanks in advance.   Hi, I am using a Javascript function to get the values of a URL to pass to jQuery using the function below: function getUrlVars() { var vars = [], hash; var hashes = window.location.href.slice(window.location.href.indexOf('?') + 1).split('&'); for(var i = 0; i < hashes.length; i++) { hash = hashes[i].split('='); vars.push(hash[0]); vars[hash[0]] = hash[1]; } return vars; } And then setting the value like this: var type = getUrlVars()["type"] This all works perfectly, however I have just come into a situation where I need to get multiple values, one of my form elements are checkboxes where multiple values can be checked, so my URL will look something like this: http://www.domain.com/test.php?type=1&cuisine[]=23&cuisine[]=43&name=test If I alert out the cuisine value using the function above I only ever get the final value: alert (getUrlVars()["cuisine[]"]); Would alert "43". What I would like it to be is a comma delimited string of all "cuisine" values. ie in the above example "23,43" Any help very welcome! In case any solution requires it I am using PHP 5.3 and Jquery 1.4
