    Hello, I am new to repositories and am currently looking around to find the best possible option. I need something that can handle multiple versions of our website, and allow multiple collaborators to all push to the repo together. Our current project is built in PHP, and we have a MySQL database. I am short on funding and need the best option for our money.     Hi, for a little project I have to do the following task on my IPhone: open a TCP socket send a command to the server shutdown the WRITE part of the connection read the response from the server close the connection I'm not experienced with socket programming - I've just started with network programming and I've already used the CFStream interface. But obviously streams are not adequate for this task. Who can point me in the right direction? I tried to find a tutorial on Apples website about sockets, but there is nothing. Regards, Thomas

    HI All I am creating a log file for our website which will log every log-in by all the users to our orders area. I wish to know if you think its good to enter this log info in just one single file or should this be split up once the log file hits a certain size? My concern is that this file will get rather large over time, but im not certain of the size limit of a text file? thank you

  • Force sharepoint to ask for authentication

    Is there a way to force sharepoint 2010 to popup the dialog to ask the user for a username and password and not use the computers logged in user, if that user doesn't have access. We need an internal sharepoint website to not use the windows credentials, since these are computers used by many people. The windows user doesn't have access to the site, so currently it shows an access denied, click here to log in as another user. We would prefer if it just asked for credentials in a more graceful manner.

    I am currently using an XHTML 1.0 transitional doctype on my vBulletin website. The page in question is PHP. The source (view source) of this page verifies that the XHTML 1.0 transitional doctype is on the page. Upon downloading (File Save As) the page in IE8, I realized that my doctype had been replaced with an HTML 4.0 transitional doctype. Why does IE8 change the doctype? Why isn't the doctype its chosen displayed in the "View Source"?

    I created an application using the method described in the "http:// book.cakephp.org/view/641/Simple-Acl-controlled-Application" but after I try to log in there is an error which says, "DbAcl::allow() - Invalid node [CORE\cake\libs\controller\components\acl.php, line 325]" I did exactly same as mentioned in the website but after loggin in I am given this error msg.. Is it more secure to use asp.net controls or does not matter.   • Cannot render images locally with Sql Server 2005 Report Services SOAP service calls

    I am trying to render images from SSRS 2005 via the SOAP call. When the reports service is installed on the same server as my website, the images generated do not render in the page. However, when I connect to the reporting service URL from the same web code on a separate machine the images render just fine. Is there a dependency that I am missing to allow me to run the web and SSRS on the same box?
