    When I tried to run the Ubuntu install disc i get a purple screen with some little images down the bottom, then a flashing cursor for a second and then the screen goes black like there is no in I have tried changing BIOS settings that supposedly interfere, different disk drives and trying to access the advanced menu all to no avail! All the answers for black screens require you to be able to get the menu which i cant! Help would be much appreciated!

    I have this spreadsheet that started as a silly aid for a game (Mafia Wars 2), but grew into a tricky spreadsheet question. In the game your character have 9 "slots" for weapons and armors, 1 for each "type": Light Weapon, Heavy Weapon, Body Armor, Head Armor, etc. So I made a list of all weapons and armors available in the game, 1 item per row. Example: SHOP ITEM TYPE ITEM NAME ATK DEF PRICE EQUIPPED? Basically I need a LOOKUP (or VLOOKUP, or anything else) that uses 2 criteria to find a given row, the item type and the X marker. Question is: HOW? I am using OpenOffice Calc 3.2.1, but since it shares so many functions with MS Excel, answers for Excel are also fine (as long as it only uses regular formulas, no VBScript or Macros or VBA etc) Last but not least, suggestions / solutions for rearranging the data so it makes this problem easier to solve are also welcome.   • Gradle + Robolectric: Where do I put the file org.robolectric.Config.properties?

    I'm trying to setup a test using Robolectric to click on a menu button in this repository. Basic Robolectric tests will run, but I'm not able to run any project-specific test using resources because it says it can't find my AndroidManifest.xml. After running ../gradlew clean check, here's the standard output from the Robolectric html file: WARNING: No manifest file found at ./AndroidManifest.xml.Falling back to the Android OS resources only. To remove this warning, annotate your test class with @Config(manifest=Config.NONE). I found these instructions which indicate I should create an org.robolectric.Config.properties file, but I'm not sure where to put it. I've tried everywhere, pretty much, and despite moving the file, the path in the error message is always the same as above (./AndroidManifest.xml). This makes me think the build process has never picked up the settings in the file org.robolectric.Config.properties. I also tried the @Config(manifest="") directive but this gave me a cannot find symbol error. If I move the AndroidManifest.xml into my project directory, then I get an error about it not being able to find the path ./res/values and I wasn't able to resolve that either. Any ideas? Update 1 Thanks Eugen, I'm now using @RunWith(RobolectricGradleTestRunner.class) instead of @RunWith(RobolectricTestRunner). What I've been able to determine so far is that when I run post-commit.bat manually (I've created a wrapper for it to make it easier) everything succeeds, but when SVN runs it one particular step doesn't work. We're using CollabNet SVNServe, which I know from the documentation removes all environment variables. This had caused some problems earlier, but shouldn't be an issue now. Before Subversion calls a hook script, it removes all variables - including $PATH on Unix, and %PATH% on Windows - from the environment. Therefore, your script can only run another program if you spell out that program's absolute name. The body of get_login is in a try block because I was getting strange errors saying there was an unhandled exception in callback_get_login. Never figured out why, but it seems fine now. Let sleeping dogs lie, right? The username and password for get_login are currently hard-coded (but correct) just to eliminate variables and try to change as little as possible at once. (I added the svnuser and svnpass arguments to the existing argument parsing.) So that's where I am. I can't figure out why on earth it's not printing anything into svn2ftp.out.log. If you're wondering, the output for one of these failed attempts in svn2ftp.debug.log is: 2012-09-06 15:18:12,496 INFO svnftp.start 2012-09-06 15:18:12,496 INFO svnftp.done And it's no different on a successful run. So there's nothing useful being logged. I'm lost. I've gone way down the rabbit hole on this one, and don't know where to go from here. Any ideas?

  • AWStats is processing log files but does not display them

    I've setup AWStats on my VPS to get some more insight into the traffic coming to my site. As instructed I ran a manual build/update which ran fine: sudo -u www-data ./awstats.pl -config=xxxx.com Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.xxxx.com.conf" by AWStats version 6.9 (build 1.925) From data in log file "/usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/logresolvemerge.pl /var/www/xxxx.com/logs/*-access.log |"... Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record... Searching new records from beginning of log file... Phase 2 : Now process new records (Flush history on disk after 20000 hosts)... Warning: awstats has detected that some hosts names were already resolved in your logfile /usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/logresolvemerge.pl /var/www/xxxx.com/logs/*-access.log |. If DNS lookup was already made by the logger (web server), you should change your setup DNSLookup=1 into DNSLookup=0 to increase awstats speed. Jumped lines in file: 0 Parsed lines in file: 814 Found 0 dropped records, Found 0 corrupted records, Found 0 old records, Found 814 new qualified records. It also produced the file in the DatDir: /var/lib/awstats/awstats052010.xxxx.com.txt which contains what I would expect. BUT when I visit: xxxx.com/awstats/awstats.pl it tells me Last Update: Never updated (See 'Build/Update' on awstats_setup.html page) and the rest of the page is blank. I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly but now I cannot figure out why this is happening. Hopefully someone smarter then me can help me. Thank you in advanced.

  • Windows telling me, the local security authority is internally inconsistent upon mounting a network drive

    Since ages I've mounted a network share (via samba to a Linux machine) in Windows 7 to access it via drive letter. This worked flawlessly so far. Until now. Suddenly I couldn't access the drive anymore. Windows was telling me the network name (I didn't remember the exact term) was already in use. So I disconnected and tried to connect again: net use Y: \\10.10.10.208\work After a long time I get a message saying "The Local Security Authority (LSA) database contains an internal inconsistency" A restart didn't help. The mapped share is accessible (works on other machines in the same network), so obviously something strange is going on on my machine. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this inconsistency? Update: All machines that have saved the login information refuse with this error. So it must be something with the authorization. When I use net use Y: \\10.10.10.208\work /user:raphael it prompts me for the password and then returns that error message.
