• Can I override a theme function with a .tpl file?

  Hi everyone, How would I go around overriding a theme function with a .tpl file? I know how to override a .tpl file with a theme function but not the other way round. I can't seem to find anywhere that tells me so, so maybe it's not possible or not good practise. For example if there was a theme function defined in a module called super_results and registered with the theme registry, like the example below, how would I go around overriding it with super_results.tpl.php. • Convert Stream to IEnumerable. If possible when "keeping laziness"

  Hi, I recieve a Stream and need to pass in a IEnumerable to another method. public static void streamPairSwitchCipher(Stream someStream) { ... someStreamAsIEnumerable = ... IEnumerable returned = anotherMethodWhichWantsAnIEnumerable(someStreamAsIEnumerable); ... } One way is to read the entire Stream, convert it to an Array of bytes and pass it in, as Array implements IEnumerable. • Replacing a colour/colours in a movieclip with different colours?

  I am trying to take a movieclip of a character and change the colour of their clothes. The character is comprised of vectors. So far I have semi-sucessfully used this method: stop the movieclip take the bitmap data from the current frame use threshold to replace the colour store the resulting bitmap data in an array add an onenterframe function - clear the current frame and add the bitmap data from the processed data in the array So - this works pretty well. Each frame is only processed once at the beginning and then the write to the movieclip is very quick. However! As the replacement is being performed on a bitmap there is an amount of aliasing that takes place to remove jaggies/pixelation. This produces colours that are not matched using threshold. So the main colour is replaced correctly but it is surrounded by a halo of mixed colours :( I am sure there should be a better way to do this. Any ideas or answers would be greatly apreciated - Thanks.

  I've a php script that has the following line: echo json_encode(array('success'=>'true','userid'=>$userid, 'data' => $array)); It returns the following: { "success": "true", "userid": "1", "data": [ { "id": "1", "name": "Trigger", "image": "", "subtitle": "", "description": "", "range1": null, "range2": null, "range3": null }, { "id": "2", "name": "DWS", "image": "", "subtitle": "", "description": "", "range1": null, "range2": null, "range3": null } ] } But when I call a jQuery ajax as below: $.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: 'url', crossDomain: true, data: {name: name}, success: function(success, userid, data) { if (success = true) { document.write(userid); document.write(success); } } }); The userid is 'success'. But because I'm new to module dev overall I couldn't figure it out based on the answer.   At work we currently have a custom in-house built winforms app for the business users to view reports. It has role-based security and several administrator functions. My boss is thinking about getting me to port this app to webforms. My question is, are there options other than custom built winforms and webforms apps for deploying/viewing/administrating Crystal Reports at an enterprise level (role-based security, easy report deployment, etc)? I'm thinking about third-party packages or perhaps applications provided by Microsoft/Business Objects/SAP? We are using Crystal Reports 11.5.

• jQuery if checkbox is checked to toggle classes

  I am needed to change my jQuery code up. Instead of the label toggling the class and showing the icon I need it to where if the checkbox is checked to show to toggle those classes. I have tried prop and is but I couldn't get them to work properly. The reason for the change is I want to preload data into the form and if it's going to be checked those toggles need to reflect that change. http://jsfiddle.net/70fbLooL/2/ EDIT Seems to be confusion as to exactly what I am trying to do. The fiddle I provided works perfectly fine. The problem is if I want to call the form from server-side and pre-populate the form the checkbox toggles will not show that they are checked because it's based on the clicked function. I need it to be based on if the checkbox equal true or checked. That way if the value equals true from the server-side call it will toggle those classes and look like it's checked.

• Authorization in a more purely OOP style...

  I've never seen this done but I had an idea of doing authorization in a more purely OO way. For each method that requires authorization we associate a delegate. During initialization of the class we wire up the delegates so that they point to the appropriate method (based on the user's rights). For example: class User { private deleteMemberDelegate deleteMember; public StatusMessage DeleteMember(Member member) { if(deleteMember != null) { deleteMember(member); } } //other methods defined similarly... User(string name, string password) //cstor. { //wire up delegates based on user's rights. //Thus we handle authentication and authorization in the same method. } } This way the client code never has to explictly check whether or not a user is in a role, it just calls the method. Of course each method should return a status message so that we know if and why it failed. Thoughts?

Now, the Spinner contains the Names of all developers working in the Company..I have used the ArrayAdapter with a array having the names of all the developers which is fetched from the database.. The problem is that when i update the Name Of Developer field, i get Only the Name of the Developer which is not enough to update the data as their can be multiple developers with the same name in the Company..So now I require the id of the developers to update it.. How to store that id of the developers with the Spinner so that i can achieve this.. Please help me to sort this out. • Search resetting selection in tableview

  I've got an NSTableView bound to an NSArrayController via content and selection indexes. All great so far - content displayed, etc. Now an NSSearchField is bound to the array controller via filterPredicate and the property of the array content instances that's to be searched. Searching/filtering the table view works great; table view showing only matching entries. However, searching resets the selection on the NSTableView if the existing selection isn't in the search results. Worse, not only during the search but after ending the search there's no selection on the table view. The NSArrayController is set up to Avoid Empty Selection. Any hints on how to properly configure bindings in this scenario to really prevent an empty selection much appreciated!

  class String contains very useful method - String.Join(string, string[]). It creates a string from an array, separating each element of array with a symbol given. But general - it doesn't add a separator after the last element! I uses it for ASP.NET coding for separating with "<br />" or Environment.NewLine. So I want to add an empty row after each row in asp:Table. What method of IEnumerable<TableRow> can I use for the same functionality?

• How should I deal with persisting an Android WebView if my activity gets destroyed while showing ano

  Hi, I'm building an Android application that's based around an enhanced WebView (based on PhoneGap). I've enhanced the WebView so that from JavaScript running inside you can invoke the native contact picker to choose a phone number (which may be supplied by Facebook for example). The problem I have is that the native contact picker runs in an activity in another process and the Android docs say that while another activity is open my activity may get destroyed due to memory constraints. I haven't actually seen this happen in my application but if it did then I'm guessing my WebView's state would be destroyed and the code that was waiting for the picked contact would be terminated. It seems a bit crazy that the activity requesting a contact could be destroyed while the contact picker is open. Does anyone know if that does indeed happen? Is there a way to persist the state of the WebView if it does? Thanks, -Shaun

At the moment it returns the number of rows that have been defined. var q = sqlData.AsEnumerable().Take(2); This data comes in from a database and is imputed into the table but at the moment it only returns database data into the datatable and allows me to select the first two rows and I was wondering if I can query the data table so that I can get the rows that I require based on an index in the actual table itself (e.g. in the table I find five rows and query this information out).

  This is my code: $loginUrl = $facebook->getLoginUrl(array( 'scope' => 'publish_actions', 'redirect_uri' => 'http://mysite.com/', )); It works but if I remove redirect_uri it doesn't work anymore. $loginUrl = $facebook->getLoginUrl(array( 'scope' => 'publish_actions' )); According to Facebook domcumentation redirect_uri is optional. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/php/facebook-getLoginUrl/ Im trying to redirect the users to the same url they were on before logging in. Update: This problem occurs when the url is mysite.com/post23 but when url is mysite.com/staticpage or mysite.com there are no problems Any workarounds? EDIT: It looks like a bug, it doesn't work with certain url in the same site I wil try and report it to Facebook.

• Google analytics-style custom report builder UI

  I'm looking for a reporting engine/UI that can be integrated into a product, which has a UI along the lines of Google Analytics' Custom Reports builder. Is anyone aware of such a thing? The data is in our case is not page views/visitors/etc, but is similar in nature, in that there are limited entities or types of data, but each entity has many attributes/columns and many different ways of aggregating data (or in GA-style speak, metrics and dimensions). The analytics-style UI is very intuitive and allows many reports to be created in powerful ways, without having to know SQL. I have preference for a web-based tool (seeing that it is 2010 and this is a web app -- I mention only because it seems the vast majority of reporting tools still have only a non-web-based creation tool).
