Duplicate Content Problem due to plugin

Actually i am running website on wordpress where i have installed Transposh plugin on my site 'example'. Unfortunately, despite having English as the default language and therefore available at example.com/xxx, Google is indexing example.com/en/xxx so i m getting problem with duplicate content now i want to remove this plugin and links from google so that my content will be refine without getting duplicate content pages. Do you have any solution to do this safely. I think myself to remove this plugin from website, though it will create 404 errors from google links but i can add redirect code in htaccess till google would remove that "example.com/en/xxx " not found links. If you know any other healthy way to handle this please help me!Read the article

I am storing my sitemaps in my web folder. I want web crawlers (Googlebot etc) to be able to access the file, but I dont necessarily want all and sundry to have access to it. For example, this site (superuser.com), has a site index - as specified by its robots.txt file (http://superuser.com/robots.txt). However, when you type http://superuser.com/sitemap.xml, you are directed to a 404 page. How can I implement the same thing on my website? I am running a LAMP website, also I am using a sitemap index file (so I have multiple site maps for the site). I would like to use the same mechanism to make them unavailable via a browser, as described above.Read the article

What's the best way to create animations when doing Android development?

I'm trying to create my first Android game and I'm currently trying to figure out (with someone that will do the drawings and another programmer) what the best way to create animation is. (Animations such as a character moving, etc.) At first, the designer said that she could draw objects/characters and animate them with flash so she didn't have to draw every single frame of an action. The other programmer and I don't know Flash too much so I suggested extracting all the images from the Flash animation and making them appear one after the other when the animation is to start. He said that would end up taking too much resource on the CPU and I tend to agree, but I don't really see how we're supposed to make smooth animations without it being too hard on the hardware and, if possible, not have the designer draw every single frame on Adobe Illustrator. Can an experienced Android game developper help me balance this out so we can move on to other parts of the game as I have no idea what the best way to create animations is.Read the article
