• How do you set the ZIndex on a TabItem?

  I am wanting my TabItems to be positioned in between a border to achieve a "binder" affect, like this: However, I cannot seem to achieve this affect using ZIndex with my borders and each TabItem item. • Modal PopUp Extender labels wont update on Asynchronous Postback

  Hi everyone! I have a ModalPopUpExtender with an UpdatePanel on it. On the UpdatePanel,there few labels and componentart Grid which Updates from the server on every Asynchronous postback when an image button is clicked. The Problem is that the server code updates the modalpopupextender labels as the information on the grid but it wont display the Updated version of it on the modal Popup Extender. Need some Help... • Search Form in Responsive Design - Remove Search button on Mobile

  I'm working with a search box in the header of a responsive website. On desktop/tablet widths, there's a search input field and a styled 'search' button to the right. You can type in a search term and either click 'SEARCH' button or just hit enter on the keyboard with the same result. When you scale down to mobile widths, the search input field fills the width of the screen. The submit button falls below it. On a desktop, clicking the button or hitting enter activate the search. On an actual iphone phone, you can hit the 'SEARCH' button, but the native mobile keyboard that rises from the bottom of the screen has a search button where the enter/return key would normally be. It seems to know I'm in a form and the keyboard automatically gives me the option to kick off the search by basically hitting the ENTER key location....but it says SEARCH. So far so good. I figure I don't need the button in the header on mobile since it's already in the keyboard. Therefore, I'll hide the button on mobile widths and everything will be tighter and look better. So I added this to my CSS to hide it in mobile: #search-button {display: none;} But now the search doesn't work at all. On mobile, I don't get the option in the keyboard that showed up before and if I just hit enter, it doesn't work at all. On desktop at mobile width, hitting enter also not longer works. So clearly by hiding the submit/search button, the phone no longer gave me the native option to run the search. In addition, on the desktop at mobile width, even hitting enter inside the search input box also fails to launch the the search. • Windows 7 cannot join samba domain

  I have a 3.5.6 samba server with a LDAP backend (both on Debian 6.0). I've been successfully adding Windows XP machines to the domain for years. I now try to add Windows 7. I have made the recommended registry changes, but I don't have any success so far. Here is what happens: 1. I go to computer name, select "Domain" instead of "Workgroup", type in the domain name, click OK. It asks me for the username and password of an account that can add computers to the domain; I enter them. After about 40 seconds, I get the following message: The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "ITIA": The specified computer account could not be found. Contact an administrator to verify the account is in the domain. If the account has been deleted unjoin, reboot, and rejoin the domain. Despite this, the samba server successfully creates the computer account. 2. Therefore, if I try again a second time, without deleting the already created computer account, I get a different error: The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "ITIA": The specified account already exists. (Note that until a while ago samba wasn't configured to automatically create computer accounts. What I did whenever I wanted an XP to join was to manually create it. When I first attempted to solve the Windows 7 join problem, I setup samba to do this automatically, as this is what most people do, as I understand, and I thought that it might be related. I haven't attempted to add an XP since I made this change, so I don't know if it works, but whether it works or not, the problem remains.)   On my ongoing saga to mirror the hosting of a legacy app on a clean box, I've hit my next snag. One page relies on a big .NET UserControl that on the new machine renders only as a big, greyed out textarea (greyed out vertical scrollbar on the right hand edge. Inspecting the source shows the expected object tag.) This is particularly tricky because nobody seems to know much about hosted UserControls and all the discussions data back to 2002-2004. What perhaps looks fishy to me: The DataExport UserControl references Aspose.Excel to generate the spreadsheets it exports. When I navigate to the page and get a blank textbox, then run gacutil /ldl, nothing is in the local download cache. On the working machine, running the same command after viewing the page shows a laundry list of DLLs including the control DLL and the Aspose DLL.

  Hello, I use the bellow code to load the main menu elements from some CMS, the present code is perfect except that it loads ALL the main items on a single line of menu - which will make the width of it unusable in any centered design (under 1000px).. I want to change this script so after 15 main elements will add a "MORE" button under which the rest of the main menu items will show as sub-items of this "MORE" button (they will not have their own sub-items as the first 15 do)..   I have an asp.net menu control which the child items(submenu) width is tied to its parent's width, I was wondering is there a work around? because some of the titles for the submenu are longer than the title of the parent so it looks all smooshed together and just horrible on the eyes.   I want to be able to play back video from a specific time using the HTML5 video tag (and currently only need to worry about Chrome). This is possible by setting the currentTime property of a video element. That works fine in Chrome with a video sourced from html5rocks.com, but is ignored when the same file is loaded from my own local webserver. No errors are showing in the developer tools console. Now, my webserver is serving this with mime type "video/webm", but it will be served like any old file -- not streamed. Do I need a webserver that streams in some specific way? What else could be at fault here? Note: The webserver is a proprietary platform and won't have any of the same exact settings or controls one might expect of Tomcat or some other commonly used webserver, though there may be other ways to achieve the same effect.

  Hello, I use the bellow code to load the main menu elements from some CMS, the present code is perfect except that it loads ALL the main items on a single line of menu - which will make the width of it unusable in any centered design (under 1000px).. I want to change this script so after 15 main elements will add a "MORE" button under which the rest of the main menu items will show as sub-items of this "MORE" button (they will not have their own sub-items as the first 15 do).. • Sporadic disk clicking sound

  Hi, I'm having some unusual and sporadic hard disk clicking issues. Here is a cronological description of the facts. I'm using an ASUS P6T-SE with Intel Core i7, 6Gb RAM 600W Power supply and ATI4670 graphics, running Ubuntu 10.10. About one month ago my hard disk (SATA II Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200 rpm) started making a clicking sound: a sort of loud tic-tac, every second or so, when involved in disk activity. The system was clearly slower than before at disk access, but it was functional and I could not find any signal of trouble on the linux logs. I disconnected the disk and tried an older SATA drive I had around: no problem with it. Then I reconnected the Seagate disk, and the problem was mysteriously gone. Ubuntu booted normally, usual speed, no clicking. A couple of weeks later, the problem reappeared. I tried disconnecting reconnecting (as it somehow solved the problem before) without luck. So, despite it was a rather new drive, I assumed it was a hardware issue, made backups and bought a new drive. The new drive is a SATA II Seagate Barracuda 1.5 Tb 7200 rpm. I installed both drives at the same time, with the intention of transferring my files from on to the other. To my surprise, when I booted the computer with both drives, both started making the clicking sound !! Even worse, I removed the old drive, leaving the unformated new drive connected, and booted from a LiveCD. It kept clicking ! Puzzled by this, I tried both drives on my laptop with a SATA to USB cable. At the moment I connected any of them, they made one or two unusual clicks and immediately stopped doing that and worked normally. The old drive I thought almost dead, was working like a charm as if nothing happened. Then I thought: "ok, it must be the motherboard. Let's try again". So, I reconnected the old drive to the ASUS P6T motherboard (the same cables and SATA port as before), and it worked as if nothing happened ! The problem was gone again. The new 1.5 Tb drive was also working ok: No clicking nor slowdown. So I left the old 1Tb disk connected and kept using the computer daily during 3 weeks, until today it happened again. Now I don't really know what to do or check. I'm not even sure if it is a hardware issue any more ! This is rather annoying as it seems it happens with a period of 2 or 3 weeks and I have no means of forcing it to happen. Does anyone have a clue of what can causes this behaviour or have any suggestions of things I should check when it happens again ? What I did today is checking some SMART parameters Error log: smartctl -l error /dev/sda. No errors Short selftest: smartctl -t short /dev/sda. • DNS problems on CentOS fresh install

  I'm having some DNS issues on a new box I'm installing with CentOS 6.2. I am able to look up names using nslookup, dig, or host. I am able to ping machines by name or by IP address. However, when I try other tools, such as ssh, wget, or yum, they are unable to resolve names.
