• error working with wsdl files in visual studio 2008

  Hi. I got a wsdl file in email. At first I didn't know how to use it. I've simply saved the file to my disk. Opened visual studio...added a service reference...provided path to file, and service was discovered. I opened the object browser to see the types and methods that got imported. I figure anything that ends with the name 'Client' is a good place to start using the web service. I've tried using a simple method to get data but it has run into and expception. Need help in resolving it.   I have a container (div) with a background image. In this div there is a menu - a horizontal list. What I need is to insert an image onMouseOver, positioning it absolutely, and showing it behind the text (of course!) AND on top of the div's background image. I also use jQuery, but I think this doesn't matter. The problem can be viewed online. • Whats happening to my HTML?

  I am making changes to my website, and I just noticed that things look different. In IE, the content doesnt center, theres a margin on my content, and the font looks bigger in chrome.. I ran it through Yahoo's HTML validator and the error I get is line 1 - Error: character "" not allowed in prolog. I believe that there may be some sort of whitespace being sent before the DOC TYPE, but I cant seem to fix it. The HTML looks fine in my text editor (Notepad++) so I dont know what the problem is. Im using a strict DOC Type. Everything was fine before I made any changes, but I cant pinpoint what caused the change. If it helps, I'm using a Framework (Kohana). My initial thought was that something was being sent to the browser by an echo or something, but I couldnt find any echo statements. I dont know what could be causing this... • protobuf-net: Incorrect wire-type deserializing TimeSpan

  I get this exception when my client application is trying to deserialize a message comming from WCF service ("Incorrect wire-type deserializing TimeSpan"). I'm using .NET 3.5 SP1 and latest version of protobuf-net (1.0.0.275). I have no idea what could be the issue comming from. I don't undersand the reason of this error message. Anyone?

  Hi guys, I am trying to send an image from a Java desktop application to a J2ME application. The problem is that I am getting this exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error I have looked around on the net, and although this problem is not that rare, I was unable to find a concrete solution. I am transforming the image into a byte array before transferring it.   I have a listbox which has couple of items. When double clicked on each item, the user get option to edit item (text of item). Now once i update the item, my item in listbox doesn't get updated. The first window (one which has listbox) is in MainWindow.xaml file and second window is in EditTaskView.xaml(one which let's edit the items text) file.   Creating a separate PopupWindow that opens another web browser give me as return value a HtmlWindow object that is the same object type as the static "HtmlPage.Window" of the silverlight project. That object type provides the "Invoke" and "Eval" methods. I want to evaluate a javascript that can be located on my Silverlight code in a string value (Eval) or inside the uri that I have popped up (Invoke). Nomather script execution method I use, It fails. For eval, it gives me an InvalidOperationException with "Eval failed." message. For Invoke, it gives me an InvalidOperationException with "Failed to Invoke: TalkToJavaScript." message. Is there a way to execute javascript on a PopupWindow. The code here is a simple test. The first time that I press the button it popup the uri in a new webbrowser instance. The second time that I click, it tries to execute javascript on the destination uri window.
