  • Interface Builder error: IBXMLDecoder: The value for key is too large to fit into a 32 bit integer

    I'm working with Robert Payne's fork of PSMTabBarControl that works with IB 3.2 (thanks BTW Robert!): http://codaset.com/robertjpayne/psmtabbarcontrol/. The demo application works fine on 64-bit systems, but when I try to open the XIB file in Interface Builder on a 32-bit system I get: IBXMLDecoder: The value (4654500848) for key (myTrackingRectTag) is too large to fit into a 32 bit integer Building the app as 32 bit works, but then running it gives: PSMTabBarControlDemo[9073:80f] * -[NSKeyedUnarchiver decodeInt32ForKey:]: value (4654500848) for key (myTrackingRectTag) too large to fit in 32-bit integer Not sure if this is a generic IB issue that can occur when moving between 64 and 32 bit systems, or if this is a more specific issue with this code. Has anyone else run into this?

What libraries must I link to? Apple's documentation is not very helpful on telling what to include or link to, like MSDN is. How do I make this the default page, ie. the one returned when I browse to http://myserver/ ?     I'm doing a local install on Mac OSX of Spree (a Ruby-based ecommerce package) following the tutorial on this page. I'm using RVM to run Ruby 1.9.2 and rails 3.0.3. I run "gem install spree" successfully to load spree version 0.40. But when I run "Gem Install Spree" I get the following message. Can anyone help? /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems.rb:335:in `bin_path': can't find executable spree for spree-0.40.0 (Gem::Exception) from /usr/bin/spree:19 Also, when I run "Gem list spree" I get an empty list.

  • Why aren't unsigned OpenMP index variables allowed?

    I have a loop in my C++/OpenMP code that looks like this: #pragma omp parallel for for(unsigned int i=0; i<count; i++) { // do stuff } When I compile it (with Visual Studio 2005) I get the following error: error C3016: 'i' : index variable in OpenMP 'for' statement must have signed integral type I understand that the error occurs because i is unsigned instead of signed, and changing i to be signed removed this error. What I want to know is why is this an error? Why aren't unsigned index variables allowed? Looking at the MSDN page for this error gives me no clues.

    I am using Struts 2.1.8 and facing validation problem in IE. I am getting the following error An exception occurred: Error. Error message: Invalid argument. I tried out to figure out the cause and found the following. My generated javascript code is: field = form.elements['district.name']; var error = "Enter only alphabets for district"; if (continueValidation && field.value != null && !field.value.match("^[a-zA-Z ]*$")) { addError(field, error); errors = true; } I tried to mock up by putting the same code in a function and calling it in onclick event. The method addError() throws the exception and the reason is field variable. If I change it to field[0], it works fine. How to fix this error?

Is /System/Library/Fonts not the location of the fonts? Or, do iPhone apps simply not have any read access at all to that directory. Thanks!

    Hi, I am trying to execute a SSIS 2008 package on a 64-bit OS and import Excel 2003 files to SQL Server 2008. I have created an OLEDB Connection to the Excel file with a Connection String that retrieves the Excel file from a variable, inside the ForEach Loop Container. The Run64BitRunTime is set to false. I am not able to edit the SQL Command on the OLEDB Source in the Data Flow task. It returns an error : Error 2 Validation error. Load List Staged Table: Load List Staged Table: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER. The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "List OLEDB to Excel" failed with error code 0xC0202009. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed. 0 0 Appreciate any help.

  • Why would a error get thrown inside my try-catch?

    I'm pushing a copy of our application over to a new dev server (IIS7) and the application is blowing up on a line inside of a try-catch block. It doesn't happen locally, it actually obey's the rules of a try-catch block, go figure. Any idea why this would be happening? Shouldn't it just be failing silently? Is there something environmental I need to enable/disable? Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.     I have just install slime in emacs. And after removed all the other plugins for debuging, I found that slime seems had conflicts with autopair.(Or a bug of autopair?).In slime, when I typed C-c C-c, the minibuffer displayed error like: error in process filter: define-key: Wrong type argument: characterp, nil error in process filter: Wrong type argument: characterp, nil error in process filter: define-key: Wrong type argument: characterp, nil error in process filter: Wrong type argument: characterp, nil Even more, the error message still alerted after I killed the slime buffer.
