Highly acclaimed.  But it need localization. It may not be a problem for those who can understand English, but I think localizing Sample Browser into Japanese will promote its use in Japan further."   I have a hosted exchange 2010 and I am trying to setup the Send-As permission. I am following http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676368.aspx which basically describes the commands for achieving this. I have user account aaa and bbb [PS] C:\Windows\system32get-mailbox -organization myorg -identity "aaa" Name Alias ServerName ProhibitSendQuota ---- ----- ---------- ----------------- aaa aaa mx1 4.95 GB (5,315,022,848 bytes) [PS] C:\Windows\system32get-mailbox -organization myorg-identity "bbb" Name Alias ServerName ProhibitSendQuota ---- ----- ---------- ----------------- bbb bbb mx1 4.95 GB (5,315,022,848 bytes) Now, when I use the command below to give bbb permission to send-as aaa, I get the following error: [PS] C:\Windows\system32get-mailbox -organization myorg -identity "aaa" | Add-ADPermission -Extended Rights "Send As" -user "bbb" mx1/Microsoft Exchange Hosted Organizations/myorg/aaa wasn't found. • What label of tests are BizUnit tests?

  BizUnit is defined as a "Framework for Automated Testing of Distributed Systems.  However, I've never seen a catchy label to describe what sort of tests we create using this framework. They are not really “Unit Tests” that's for sure. "Integration Tests" might be a good definition, but I want a label that clearly separates it from the manual "System Integration Testing" phase of a project where real instances of the integrated systems are used. Among some colleagues, we brainstormed some suggestions: Automated Integration Tests Stubbed Integration Tests Sandbox Integration Tests Localised Integration Tests All give a good view of the sorts of tests that are being done. I think "Stubbed Integration Tests" is most catchy and descriptive. So I will use that until someone comes up with a better idea.

• Installing Sharepoint 2007 on Windows Server 2008 R2

  we are using in our lab a clean installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 which is running as Hyper-V instance. Today we wanted to install a clean installation of Sharepoint 2007 with SP1 on this machine and we explorer an error that we are not able to install it. The setup is comes up with an error which is described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/962935 but this is not our szenario. Nobody is going be happy with this solution and I hope we find a fast way how customers can install Sharepoint direclty on 2008 R2. Sometimes the primary design goal also changes with the product. C# or .net framework is no exception. As we see, the present day 4th version is very much different comparing with the first one. But thing comes as a barricade to this evolution- backward compatibility. In most of frameworks/products there are features would have been cut off if there was no need to support backward compatibility. According to you, what are these features in C#/.net?   I've been a PHP web developer for about 2 and a half years now. I have started using CodeIgniter framework to shorten development process a while ago. I developed 4 websites using CodeIgniter. It has been really tiring and boring due to code-repetition. Code repetition was vast on form handling functions in controllers.So in my last project , i developed a general form input handling function.This lead a realisation that it could get even faster by more automation. What i think i lack in my development is using CRUD & Code Generation tools. But i am wondering if there is any other utilities that shortens development process. Which web development language or framework more inclined towards code generation utilities?

  I have a 4 years old project which is written in Swing + SwingX. Currently, it is still alive and still kicking. However, as more GUI related feature requests coming in (For instance, a sortable tree table), I start to feel the difficulty in fulling the requests. This is true especially there isn't active development going around SwingX project. Also, I hardly can find any good, yet being actively maintained/ developed/ evolving GUI Java framework. I was wondering, any of Swing developers feel the same thing? Have you start to migrate your Swing project to a much more active developed GUI framework like JavaFX?

I thought I would install SQL2008 SP1, but after install I cannot connect to SQL via Management Studio, and in configuration manager I cannot start SQL? • SQL Server Management Studio Connect to Server List Editing

  I'm using SQLServer Management Studio (2005) and I have a fairly lengthy list of servers in there, and I'd like to get rid of some of them that are no longer in use, without having to set them all up again. I know that the C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Shell\mru.dat can be deleted and this will remove ALL the entries, but is there anyway to just delete some of them? (Coding info) I looked at the file and it is a serialised blob from the Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.ConnectionDlg.dll (Class Personalization) in the Appplication directory, but all the methods are private. So I can't just create an instance of this and then call Remove on the entries. • Membership Provider Parte 1

  Asp.net ha sido una de las tecnologías creadas por Microsoft de mas rápido crecimiento por la facilidad para los desarrolladores de crear sitios web. Una de las partes de mayor importancia que tiene asp.net es el contar con el Membership Provider o proveedor de Membrecía, que permite la creación, manejo y mantenimiento de un sistema completo de control y autenticación de usuarios. Para dar inicio a la serie de post que escribiré sobre que es Membeship y cuáles son las funcionalidades principales daremos unas definiciones. Tal como se menciono anteriormente con el membership provider podemos crear un sistema de control de usuarios completos, entre las funcionalidades principales podemos encontrar: * Creación de usuarios * Almacenamiento de información en base de datos * Autenticación, bloqueos y seguimiento Otras de las ventajas que cabe resaltar, es que, algunos de los controles de asp.net ya traen "naturalmente" en sus funciones la implementación del membership provider, tal como el control "Login" o los controles de estado de usuario, lo cual nos permite que con solo arrastrarlos al diseñador estén funcionando. Membership provider es poderoso, pero su funcionalidad y seguridad se ven aumentadas cuando se integra con otros proveedores de asp.net como lo son RoleProvider y Profile Provider (estos los discutiremos en otros post). En la siguiente figura, podemos ver como se distribuyen algunoS provider creados por Microsoft Antes de iniciar con la implementación de membership debes conocer cosas básicas como el espacio de nombres al que pertenece, el cual es: System.Web.Security que se encuentra dentro del ensamblado System.Web. Algo que debe tomarse en cuenta, es que, para poder utilizar cualquiera de los miembros de la clase, debemos hacer la referencia respectiva. Por defecto, el membership provider está diseñado para trabajar directamente con SQL Server, de ahí que su nombre completo seria SQL Membership Provider. Sin embargo, debido a su gran flexibilidad podemos extenderlo a cualquier base de datos o bien modificarlo para adapatarlo a nuestras necesidades. • ASP.NET website deployment [on hold]

  I am getting my hands wet with ASP and I have been following the tutorials. I deployed the site and in Azure and it worked great. Today I started actually designing the site. And when I published, it looks as if it doesn't read any of the files I just updated, added, and modified. It works on my localhost, but not in the Azure. I thought when you publish, everything goes up, including the new files. I don't have enough reputation to add a picture so, you'll forgive me. SO, basically, how do I get my entire site uploaded? • Ideas for making money off a website

  I'm considering acquiring a website that traffics close to 20k a month. It's currently unprofitable, but obviously I would need to change that to justify the cost. It's a support site for a framework similar to CakePHP. A resource that allows people to find plugins for that site. How would you go about expanding this site so that it would be broad enough to raise traffic and how would you make money off of it? Some ideas I've had: 1- BuySellAds.com seem to make ads classy and relevant 2- Team up with other sites in some way (What ways? ... Ecommerce sites that sell plugins (like CodeCanyon), etc) 3- Write tutorials and such to drive more traffic (time consuming, and already heavily saturated for this framework). Are there resources out there that help webmasters in ways like this?
