  • Cannot load JRubyEngine because org.apache.bsf.util.BSFEngineImpl not found

    Hi, I'm trying to use JRuby in a custom application, and I don't seem to be able to load the JRubyEngine object. My class looks like functionally similar to this: public class ScriptEngine { private static ScriptEngine engine = new JRubyEngine(); public void run(final String script, final Map<String,Object> input) { final Bindings context = engine.createBindings(); context.putAll(input); try { engine.eval(script,context); } catch (ScriptException e) { log.error("Failed to execute script: "+getScript(),e); } } } However this fails at compilation with the complaint: [javac] Compiling 486 source files to /workspace/myProject/build/src [javac] /workspace/myProject/src/net/ceilingfish/ScriptEngine.java:31: cannot access org.apache.bsf.util.BSFEngineImpl [javac] class file for org.apache.bsf.util.BSFEngineImpl not found [javac] private static ScriptEngine engine = new JRubyEngine(); [javac] ^ [javac] 1 error Does anyone have any insights on where I can get this class from? Or if there is a better way to be instantiating a JRubyEngine object.

  • Static Javascript files not loaded in Express app

    I have an express app that has a bunch of static javascript files that aren't being loaded even though they are registered in my app.js file. Even public scripts (like jQuery: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.3/jquery.min.js) aren't processing. I can see the script tags in the generated html, but none of the functionality runs and I can't see the files loading in the web inspector.   • JBoss Seam: components injected into POJOs, but not Session Beans

    I have a Seam component that handles login, with the name "authenticator": @Name("authenticator") public class AuthenticatorAction implements Authenticator { @PersistenceContext private EntityManager em; @In(required=false) @Out(required=false, scope = SESSION) private User user; public boolean authenticate(){ ... } } This works just fine, Seam injects the EntityManager instance. However, as soon as I add the @Stateless annotation, none of the injection happens! In this case, the EntityManager instance is null upon entry to the authenticate() method. Another interesting note is that with a separate stateful session bean I have, the Logger instance in that class is only injected if I make it static. If i have it non-static, it is not injected. Thats fine for the logger, but for stateless session beans like that, I obviously can't have static member variables for these components. I'm confused because this authenticator is exactly how it is in the Seam booking example: a stateless session bean with a private member variable being injected. Any ideas?

    If I have a method chain like the following: var abc = new ABC(); abc.method1() .method2() .methodThrowsException() .method3() ; assuming I've defined method1(), method2() and method3() as public ABC method1() { return this; } and methodThrowsException() as public ABC method3() { throw new ArgumentException(); } When running the code, is it possible to know which specific line of code has thrown the Exception, or will it just consider all the method chaining as just one line? I've done a simple test and it seems it considers them all as just one line but Method Chaining says Putting methods on separate lines also makes debugging easier as error messages and debugger control is usually on a line by line basis. Am I missing something, or does that just not apply to C#? Thanks

The catch is, that I need to order it by the Data dictionary. For example: Order By Data["lastname"] or Where Data["Name"].StartsWith("a"). I thought to use the dynamic linq library, but is there any way that my clients can write without the Data[]? For example: Name.StartsWith("abc") instead of Data["Name"].StartsWith("abc") ?     Hello i am using a resized version of this marker( http://www.clker.com/clipart-orange-pin-4.html ) for showing markers in google maps on android. The problem is i don't know how to make the marker point match the coordinates.     I have a baseclass Event with a DateTime member TimeStamp. Lots of other event-classes will derive from this. I want to be able to search a list of events (that can contain events with duplicate timestamps) fast, so I'd like to use a binary search.     Hello. Is it possible to ignore set and get when I'm assigning to or retrieving a value? In specific, I'm inheriting from a class that has a property declared like this: public Int32 Value { get; set; } What I'd like to do is to override it and do something useful in those set and get's. The problem appears when I override it, I also have to manually assign, or return the value from the property. If I do something like this: override public Int32 Value { get { return this.Value; } set { this.Value = value; // do something useful } Then I'm creating an infinite loop. Is there a way to set or get the value without invoking the code in set and get, or do I have to make a separate name for the actual variable?

The input is a request. I would like to add an interceptor on the method in order to validate the parameters. this one will read some values from the DB. i would like that this interceptor is EMBED in the transaction declared for the endpoint (or this opposite). In other words, i want them to be in the same transaction. Ideally im looking for something like this with annotation: @Transactional(readOnly = false,isolation= Isolation.SERIALIZABLE) @validator("KeyWordValidaor.class") public Source saveKW(...) where KeyWordValidaor will be class validating the parameters.     Hi I wanted a function to find the greatest of a list of String values passed in. I want to invoke it as Select greatest('Abcd','Efgh','Zxy','EAD') from sql server. It should return Zxy. The number of parameters is variable.Incidentally it is very similar to oracle GREATEST function. So I wrote a very simple CLR function (Vs2008) and tried to deploy it.     I have SharePoint 2010 configured for Claims Based Authentication with both Windows and Forms Based Authentication (FBA) for external users. I also need to develop custom WCF Services. The issue is that I want Windows credentials passed into the WCF Service(s); however, I cannot seem to get the Windows credentials passed into the services. My custom WCF service appears to be using Anonymous authentication (which has to be enabled in IIS in order to display the FBA login screen).   • How come you cannot catch Code Contract exceptions?

    System.Diagnostics.Contracts.ContractException is not accessiable in my test project. Note this code is purely myself messing around with my shiney new copy of Visual Studio, but I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the professional edition of VS, therefore I do not have static checking. In order to still use code contracts (which I like) I figured the only way my method can work is to catch the exception that is thrown at runtime, but I'm not finding this possible.     We have WPF based application using Prism Framework. We have embedded IronPython and using Python Unit Test framework to automate our application GUI testing. It works very well. We have difficulties in comparing two float numbers. Example class MyClass { public object Value { get; set;} public MyClass() { Value = (float) 12.345; } } In IronPython When I compare the MyClass Instance's Value property with python float value(12.345), it says it doesn't equal This statement raises assert error self.assertEqual(myClassInstance.Value, 12.345) This statement works fine. self.assertEqual(float(myClassInstance.Value.ToString()), 12.345) When I check the type of the type(myClassInstance.Value), it returns Single in Python where as type(12.345) returns float. How to handle the C# float to Python comparison without explicit conversions?

  • How to stop a WPF binding from ignoring the PropertyChanged event that it caused?

    I have a TextBox bound to a ViewModel's Text property with the following setup: Xaml <TextBox Text="{Binding Text}"/> C# public class ViewModel : INotifyPropertyChanged { public string Text { get { return m_Text; } set { if (String.Equals(m_Text, value)) { return; } m_Text = value.ToLower(); RaisePropertyChanged("Text"); } } // Snip } When I type some stuff in to the TextBox it successfully sets the Text property on the ViewModel. The problem is that WPF ignores the property changed event that is raised by it's own update. This results in the user not seeing the text they typed converted to lowercase. How can I change this behaviour so that the TextBox updates with lowercase text? Note: this is just an example I have used to illustrate the problem of WPF ignoring events. I'm not really interested in converting strings to lowercase or any issues with String.Equals(string, string).
