• CISCO 2911 Router configuration

  Device cisco 2911 router configuration support is required please. I have exchange server 2010 configured and working without any errors the problem is in cisco router configuration when exchange server sends emails out the receives WAN IP not the public ip. I have configured RDNS lookups with our MX record IP addesses that match the FQDN but all our emails are rejected because it does not match with the public ip. Receiving mails problem is not an problem all mails are coming through. i am sure i am missing something on the router configuration that does not sends the public ip, can any one help me to solve this issue. • Exchange mail users cannot send to certain lists

  First of all, everyone's on Exchange 2010 using OWA I have a dynamic distribution list that contains all users in my domain called 'staff'. I can send to this list, other people can send to this list, but I have one user that cannot send to this list. Sending to this list gives the user an email back with the error: Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: Staff The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk. and then a bunch of diagnostic information that I don't want to paste here because I don't want to have to censor all of the sensitive information contained (lazy) Can you guys throw me some possible reasons why this would happen? If there are an innumerable number of reasons, where should I start to troubleshoot this? EDIT One Exchange server inside the network that acts as a transport server, client access server and mailbox server and one Edge Transport server in the DMZ.

• Why is mount -a not mounting fuse drive properly when executed remotely (via Fabric)?

  This is a weird bug and I'm not sure where it's coming from. Here's a quick run down of what I'm doing. I'm trying to mount a FUSE drive to an Amazon EC2 instance running Ubuntu 10.10 using s3fs (FUSE over Amazon). s3fs is compiled from source according to the instructions etc. I've also added an entry to /etc/fstab so that the drive mounts on boot. Here's what /etc/fstab looks like: # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0 LABEL=uec-rootfs / ext4 defaults 0 0 /dev/sda2 /mnt auto defaults,nobootwait,comment=cloudconfig 0 2 /dev/sda3 none swap sw,comment=cloudconfig 0 0 s3fs#mybucket /mnt/s3/mybucket fuse default_acl=public-read,use_cache=/tmp,allow_other 0 0 So the good news is that this works fine. On reboot the connection mounts correctly. I can also do: $ sudo umount /mnt/s3/mybucket $ sudo mount -a $ mountpoint /mnt/s3/mybucket /mnt/s3/mybucket is a mountpoint Great, right? Well here's the problem. I'm using Fabric to automate the process of building and managing this instance. I noticed I was getting this error message when using Fabric to build s3fs and set up the mount process: mountpoint: /mnt/s3/mybucket: Transport endpoint is not connected I isolated it down the the problem and built a fabric task that reproduces the problem: def remount_s3fs(): sudo("mount -a") Which does: [ec2-xx-xx-xx-xx.compute-1.amazonaws.com] Executing task 'remount_s3fs' [ec2-xx-xx-xx-xx.compute-1.amazonaws.com] sudo: mount -a [And yes, I was sure to unmount it before running this task.] When I check the mount using mountpoint I get: $ mountpoint /mnt/s3/mybucket mountpoint: /mnt/s3/mybucket: Transport endpoint is not connected Done. But if I run sudo mount -a at the command line, it works. Hrm. Here is that fab task output again, this time in full debug mode: [ec2-xx-xx-xx-xx.compute-1.amazonaws.com] Executing task 'remount_s3fs' [ec2-xx-xx-xx-xx.compute-1.amazonaws.com] sudo: sudo -S -p 'sudo password:' /bin/bash -l -c "mount -a" Again, I get that transport endpoint not connected error. I've also tried copying and pasting the exact command run into my ssh session (i.e. sudo -S -p 'sudo password:' /bin/bash -l -c "mount -a") and it works fine. So...that's my problem. Any ideas?

• Postfix how to triggering my script when outgoing email status is sent?

  I want to run a program when postfix has successfully sent out a mail (local or remote). I would like to pass the headers to program and if possible also the destination ip or address (exclude spam filter delivery). I just have an idea: Delivery Status Notification processing via uniqe transport program, but I'd prefer the above. My goal is to be recorded lifetime (events) of email: it came, it went out (from, to, subject, datetime, message id, message status: bounce, sent). I would only need the state of the outgoing mail, because incoming and bounce program is working. It is possible to trigger a program (similar to a transport pipe/spawn) or DSN "cheat" stay? • Sendmail Alias for Nonlocal Email Account

  I admin a server which is running a number of web applications for a software dev team (source control, bug tracking, etc). The server has sendmail running solely as a transport to the departmental email server over which I have no control. We have someone who is still in the department but no longer on the dev team so I need to configure the transport agent to redirect all outgoing email (which would be coming from these applications) to the person that has taken their place. I added an entry in /etc/aliases like such: [email protected]: [email protected] But when I run /etc/init.d/sendmail newaliases I get the following error: /etc/mail/aliases: line 32: [email protected]... cannot alias non-local names So clearly I'm doing something I shouldn't. Is there a way to get aliases to work with non-local names or alternatively is their a way to accomplish my goal of redirecting outgoing mail for this user to another one? Technical Specs if the matter: Ubuntu 6.06 sendmail 8.13 (ubuntu provided package)

  Background: We have one pretty slow and expensive satellite Internet connection that is shared in a network with 5-50 users. To limit traffic, users shall pay a certain sum of money per hour. Routing and traffic accounting on user basis is done by a opensuse 10.3 server. Login is done via pppoe, and for each connection, username, bytes_sent, bytes_rcvd, start_time, end_time,etc are written into a mysql database. Now it was decided that we want to change from time-based to volume-based pricing. As the original developer who installed the system a couple of years ago isn't available, I'm trying to do the changes. Although I'm absolutely new to all this, there is some progress. However, there's one point I'm absolutely stuck. Up to now, only administrators can access connection details and billing information via a web interface. But as volume-based prices are less transparent to users than time-based prices, it is essential that users themselves can check their connections and how much they cost via the web interface. For this, we need some kind of user authentication. Actual question: How to develop such a user authentication? Every user has a linux system user account. With this user name and password, connection to the pppoe-server is made by the client machines. I thought about two possibles ways to authenticate users: First possibility: Users type username and password in a form. This is then somehow checked. We already have to possibilities to change passwords via the web interface. The second possibility I see: all pppoe connections are logged in the mysql database. If I could somehow retrieve the username (or uid) of the user connected by pppoe, this could be used to authenticate users. Users could only check their internet connections and costs when they are online (and thus paying money), but this could be tolerated. Here's a line of the script that inserts connections into the database: my $username = $ENV{PEERNAME}; I thought it would be easy to use this variable, but $username seems to be always empty in test-scripts (print $username). Any idea how to retrieve the user connected to the pppoe server? Sorry for the long question! Any help would be very much appreciated. :)

  I am designing a transportation agency/workflow system, and it including 3 types of people, customer who requests to transport some stuff, drivers who deliver the stuff, and truck manager who manages transport source/destination truck coordination and communicates/organizes drivers. The system is expected to be a web site, and 3 kinds of people could use the web site to submit request, accept request, monitor status of specific stuff transportation, etc. The web site is more like an open agency or a workflow system. I am wondering whether there are any existing technologies, tools or projects (better to be open source, but not a must) which I could build my application faster based on? I prefer to use .Net technologies, but not a must. Thanks in advance!

  I am having trouble getting JBoss started. I am running JBoss 5.1.0 on Mac OSX (yes, I know it is an old version, but that’s what the application is certified on for now). I am using Apple’s JVM 1.6.0_37. I also installed a network monitoring tool on my box and it doesn't look like any ports are being opened when I start jboss, but it is possible, that the tool might be missing a port that is opened and then closed quickly. Any ideas what could be the problem or how to fix it?

This enables to expose SCSI devices to other nodes on the Firewire bus, for example hard disk drives. It's a similar functionality to Firewire Target Disk Mode on many Apple computers.   I have developed a WPF application which communicates with a set of self hosted WCF services which are under same domain and I use the following setup in the config files. <security mode="Transport"> <transport clientCredentialType="Windows" protectionLevel="EncryptAndSign" /> <message clientCredentialType="Windows" /> </security> I hosted the services on a server in different domain .I can achieve the communication by setting the security mode to "None" which is not ideal. Is there any other setting i can user for cross domain communication or i have to do with some trusted certificates ? I would be glad if some one can guide me because all the searches on google directed me to silverlight applications +Crossdomain.xml+WCF but i have't seen any combination of WPF on crossdomain environment.

• iPhone crash on CoreData save

  This is a different situation than this question, as the solution provided doesn't work and the stack is different. Periodical crash when I save data using coredata. The stack trace isn't 100% clear on where this is happening, but I'm certain it's this routine that's being called. It's either the save: in this method or the one following. The time this happend, addEntityForType was called all the way through, creating a new object for the "whereTasted" entity, before the final save: on the entire wine object. When I go through the same procedure again, it works fine. This leads me to believe it's something to do with the app having been run for a while when adding a new location, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts on how I can debug this and get more info the next time this happens?

But if I do it from the local machine's browser it works perfectly, from a remote browser it stucks with HTTPS and not changing after that. This works fine on my windows machine and I have confirmed the gems are the same but I don't think this has to do with gems. I lied. I changed my JAVA_HOME back on my windows machine and this error still occurs. So now the code doesn't run on either machine. I recently installed git on my windows machine and added the code to a repository. But I haven't really done anything with it. All it said was it will convert all LF to CRLF...That shouldn't change anything though should it? Any ideas on why I am now getting these errors? I haven't changed anything on my windows machine in months except for installing git.

  Greetings, I'm try to do valdation textbox input to valdate a phone number. I have a asp.net textbox and checkbox. the defualt is to validate a us phone number and when I check the checkbox I should change the RegularExpression and error message to validate an international phone using my own RegularExpression. I have no problem to validate the international phone but the problem is when validating the usa phone number I'm always getting error message that it is invalde phone number. I used diffrent RegularExpression but did not work. Please look at my code and davice me. Regards, ! ..................... • WCF service using duplex channel in different domains

  I have a WCF service and a Windows client. They communicate via a Duplex WCF channel which when I run from within a single network domain runs fine, but when I put the server on a separate network domain I get the following message in the WCF server trace... The message with to 'net.tcp://abc:8731/ActiveAreaService/mex/mex' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to an AddressFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. Check that the sender and receiver's EndpointAddresses agree. So, it looks like the communication just work in one direction (from client to server) if the components are in two separate domains. The Network domains are fully trusted, so I'm a little confused as to what else could cause this?   I'm developing a WCF service that is RESTful and SOAP, now both of them needs to be with NTLM authentication. I also want to expose a MEX endpoint so that others can easily reference the service and work with it. • Why can i not upload images to my folder anymore?

  This was something I had working a few weeks back but after I made some changes to my view file images are now no longer being saved into my assets/uploads folder. I keep getting back the error - You did not select a file to upload. This is despite having made sure the path is definitely correct. What am i doing wrong here?
