  I have been given the below .NET question in an interview. I don’t know why I got low marks. Unfortunately I did not get a feedback. Question: The file hockey.csv contains the results from the Hockey Premier League. The columns ‘For’ and ‘Against’ contain the total number of goals scored for and against each team in that season (so Alabama scored 79 goals against opponents, and had 36 goals scored against them). • C# SQL Parameter Errors in Loops

  Please help me out with this. I have this small application to load txt files into a sql db and it works fine with sqlite. When I ported to SQL I started getting 'parameter already declared' errors.. If anyone can help me reorganize this code, it would be great! • Update table rows in a non-sequential way using the output of a php script

  Good evening everybody, this is my very first question and I hope I've done my search in stack's archive at best!!! I need to monitor several devices by querying theyr mysql database and gather some informations. Then these informations are presented to the operator in an html table. I have wrote a php script wich loads devices from a multidimensional array, loops through the array and gather data and create the table. It comes out that when devices are too much and internet connection is not that fast, the script times out, even if i dramatically increase the timeout period. So it is impossible even to load the page the first time... Therefore I would like to change my code so that I can handle each row as a single entity, with its own refresh period. So when the user first loads the page, he sees n rows (one per device) with the ajax loader image... then an update cycle should start independently for each row, so that the user sees data gathered from each database... then ajax loader when the script is trying to retrieve data, then the gathered data once it has been collected or an error message stating that it is not possible to gather data since hour xx:yy:zz. So rows updating should be somewhat independent from the others, like if each row updating was a single closed process. So that rows updating is not done sequentially from the first row to the last. I hope I've sufficiently detailed my problem. Currently I feel like I am at a dead-end. Could someone please show me somewhere to start from?

• JSF tags not being rendered as HTML

  I'm following the Java EE firstcup tutorial using Netbeans and Glassfish. When I execute the JSF web tier I've been instructed to code, the browser gets the same JSF markup coded in the .xhtml file, and the tags are not rendered as HTML tags. I know this by using the view source code in my browser. For example, for this code: <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"> <h:head> <title>Page title here</title> </h:head> <h:body> <h2> <h:outputText value="#{bundle.WelcomeMessage}" /> </h2> </h:body> </html> The browser should get something like: <html ...> <head> <title>Page title here</title> </head> <body> <h2> the welcome message goes here </h2> </body> </html> Right? Well, my browser is getting jsf code (the first piece of code above) and not the html code (the second piece of code above). It seems to be a configuration problem in netbeans or glassfish but don't know what. Any ideas? • SQL error C# - Parameter already defined

  Hey there. I have a c# application that parses txt files and imports the data from them into a sql db. I was using sqlite and am now working on porting it to sql server. It was working fine with sqlite but now with sql i am getting an error when it is processing the files. It added the first row of data to the db and then says "parameter @PartNumber has already been declared. Variable names must be unique within a batch or stored procedure".   I'm trying to install .NET 3.5 on my Windows 8 box and it keeps throwing Error 0x800f0922 at me. From what I've read on answers.microsoft.com and StackOverflow I gather the easiest way to fix this is to perform a system refresh, however this will remove all software I've installed from discs. I've just moved house, so I'd rather not do that as I don't know where all the installation media actually are for a lot of my software, so if possible I'd prefer to track down where the problem is actually occurring. (Also, I have a LOT of software installed. It'd take me a long time to reinstall it all, and I unfortunately haven't got that time.) The on-demand error screen sends me to KB2734782 (can't link it as I'm <10 rep), which doesn't help much.   I am trying to add a new member to our DFS topology. We have 3 DCs (VMs - VMware) running Windows server 2012, two servers are located in or Primary site and the third at our DR site. Currently the two servers at our primary site are currently replicating DFS (full mesh) and are working fine. I have tried several times to add the third DC to our DFS topology, every time i configure the replication path e.g E:\MSI and click ok the MMC snap in crashes. The console is giving me the message : 16/04/2010 12:14:20 com.apple.coreservicesd[51] sh: launchctl: command not found This indicates to me that it can't find the launchctl executable launchctl is present in the folder /bin /bin is set in the PATH variable for sh and bash shells and also in the ~/.MacOS/environment.plist How can I fix this so that my preferences can find this so that I can enable the FTP service.

  I'm trying to debug a segfault in PHP/Apache running on RHEL4. This is a production server, so I'm trying to install a separate copy of apache and php, and run apache through gdb. When I load httpd through gdb and then do run -X, I get the error (no debugging symbols found)...Error while reading shared library symbols: Dwarf Error: Cannot handle DW_FORM_strp in DWARF reader. The Apache manual says something about setting EXTRA_CFLAGS to "-g", and i've tried configuring with --enable-maintainer-mode, but I don't seem to be getting far.

• Remote Desktop event ID 20499. No noticeable issues

  I get a warning event with ID 20499 for TerminalServices-RemoteConnectionManager.The error is: Remote Desktop Services has taken too long to load the user configuration from server \server.domain.home for user administrator. Yet, I don't see any issues (I'm guessing because that user is on the machine local). Why am I getting this warning? I'm on Windows Server 2012 R2 connecting from a Windows 8.1.
