• Android: i need password example

  I have long been looking for a functioning example of a password, but I have not found. can someone help me? Explained more clearly: I have a TextField named password and I want that when it is written in 123 and press the button it goes to another activity if it is written in 123 if not it would inform the "wrong password!" and that the password is found file, which is / sdcard / Android / password.txt if you understood :) SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH! • C# - Thread does not abort on application closing

  Hi, I have an application which does some background task (network listening & reading) in separate Thread. It seems however that the Thread is not being Terminated/Aborted when I close the application (click "x" button on titlebar ;)). Is that because the main Thread routine is while(true) {...} ? What is the solution here? I was looking for some "interruption" flag for the Thread as the condition for "while" loop, but didn't found any ...

• why do i lose my hidden field value?

  Hi, I have some hidden fields on my page, all of which work fine apart from one.   Hello My scenarion is this 1- i have a Form which is dynamically generated with some XML configuration information. 2- i am attaching Data Binding for a textbox in Text_Loaded event a well as Validation Rules and i am attaching Validation.AddErrorHandler for showing message boxs 3- Data Source for the binding is a DataTable. 4- I am having record navigation buttons on the form generated in step 1 (Next,Last,First,Previous) 5- If user edits data with invalid values in record no 1 validation fires and it creats a red border 6-user press Next button to navigate to record no 2 but does not update error field in record no 1 i.e. she leaves record no 1 with some error not in my data source but on the form. 7- She came back to record no 1 , here my problem begins , Record no 1 is updated with old values and does not show error which she made. i know that ValidationRules will not allow wrong input to update my data source which is fine but i need to handle point no 7 , there is no direct way to handle this situation , any help is much appriciated

• C Builder TForm not allocated or created properly all its controls

  Hi, I would know how i can check that all the controls on the form is created and initialized. I have form i am showing when user presses the 'update' button. It have only TProgressBar control. The handle is not NULL for this control and at random stages it can or can't set the Position/Max values. When i set TProgressBar-Max value to some integer it remains 0 after. So the question is: 1) How to really create the form and all controls on it (i am currently using just Form-Show() method, which as i can check calls the constructor) 2) How to check that all controls on the form is created and PAINTED (showed) Thanks

I would like to automate this. How can I do this? My problem is that it is associated with my Facebook account and then it is not running in cron job or nothing is posted. Can I use my login data to a file which the Cronjob can always log in?

• Java/Swing: Problem with key listener

  I have a search dialog with a JTextField that's being used as a search box. When the user types something, it searches the DB, shows the result in a JTable and selects the first item in it. If the first result is what they were looking for, I want to let them quickly accept the dialog, by pressing Enter (while the JTextField is focused). So I added a KeyListener to the JTextField and it's working OK. Now the problem: The user opens can open the dialog by pressing Enter when a "Search" button on the dialog's parent frame is focused. The dialog is displayed and the JTextField gets the keyReleased event (from the Enter key that displayed it), so it shows up and closes. If the user holds Enter down, then the JTextField receives the keyPressed, keyTyped and keyReleased events. How can I fix without resorting to ugly workarounds? Platform is Windows 7 x64, btw. • JsonStore.insert() causes exception in extjs

  I have an EditorGridPanel with toolbar button to add new records. Everything works fine except one scenario. When I try to insert a record which already exists in database, server sends back: {"success":false,"message":"already exists","data":{}} but grid creates a new row marked with red triangle. If after that I try to insert a new record (even if it doesn't exist in database), everything works fine on the server side, but i get an 'uncaught exception' in firebug. It says: 'uncaught exception: Ext.data.DataReader: #realize was called with invalid remote-data. Please see the docs for DataReader#realize and review your DataReader configuration.' why is that?

  I have an application which has different font sizes for different controls say Button: 10, TextBlock : 12 etc. I want to give options to the user where he can select any one of the below say Normal , Small, Big, Bigger. Suppose one selects "small" I would want to decrease every distinct font size by 2. If "Big", I would want to increase every font size by 2. I hope we can do this using converter sending actual font size as parameter and render as per the selected choice if I am not wrong. What will be the best option.   Apparently in IE8, there is this option 'Preserve Favorites website data', even if I uncheck it the browser will still keep the cookies until the last window is closed. Problem scenario. say I logged in to somesite.com, then without out logging out, I closed the window, but there was still another IE8 window open. In this case IE8 will keep the cookies of this site. So If I opened the site again (same window or another) the site won't ask for login info. The client wants the web application to be logged off as soon as the user closes the browser. Can I force delete the cookies IE8 is saving? or maybe I can stop the user from closing the window until I simulate a click on logout button?

  My problem is about tap detection. I have a uiviewcontroller and there are some controls on uiview (labels, buttons, tableview, imageview, etc..) When I tap the uibutton I display a small uiview (200x150), if the user taps the uibuttons in smallview I hide the smallview. But I can't hide the uiview if the user taps the background. I tried this code.. -(void) touchesBegan:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event{ //NSLog(@"Touches began."); [self hideShareView]; } It doesn't work if I tap the another button in the uiviewcontrols view. I just want my uiviewcontrol's uiview to react first. I think its about firstResponder but I dont know how to set it first. edit: i want it to work like a uiPopover in ipad.

  I'm making a custom UI iPad keyboard app, and I'm doing something similar to this post for the backspace method: custom backspace button crashes iPhone app However, the app will always crash when I "backspace" for the last character in the UITextView. I know -substringToIndex won't work for an empty string, but I tried using a temporary mutable string then using -deleteCharactersInRange, and that crashed it too. I'm guessing the crash is due to me manually setting the -selectedRange property for the text view after deleting a character? But even if I do: textView.selectedRange = NSMakeRange(0, 0); the app will crash. Any ideas?

• JSF - Updating Model Values in Controller Bean

  I have a Controller bean (SearchController) that has two managed bean as managed properties (SearchCriteria, SearchResults; both of which are session scoped). When the user hits the find button, the action method that is executed is in SearchController. The SearchCreteria managed bean has a method called search(). This method returns a new SearchResults object. In the controller bean, I am setting the searchResults managed property to be this new SearchResults object. The searchResults object contains what I expect during that request, but the object does not persist in the managed bean. I understand that I am changing what object that searchResults is referencing, but what I don't understand is why JSF isn't updating the model to use the new object. Any ideas what I'm missing or don't understand? I am using JSF 1.1 on WebSphere 6.1. If I put the search method in the SearchResults managed bean, it works.

  I try to apply MVP pattern for win.forms application. I have 2 forms: main & child. Main has a button and when you click it - child form should appear. There are 2 views interfaces that forms implement IMainView { event OnClick; ... } IChildView { ... } There are two presenters MainPresenter(IMainView) & ChildPresenter(IChildView) MainPresenter listens to OnClick event and then should create IChildView implementation. MainPresenter { ... MainClicked() { // it's required to create IChildView instance here } } How would you implement such creation typically? Shall IMainView has factory method for IChildView or may be it should be separate Views factory. What would you advise? Or maybe there is some misunderstanding of MVP here? Thank you in advance!
