  When I call: setChanged(); notifyObservers() on a java.until.Observable class, will all the listening Observer objects complete execution of their udpate() methods - assuming we are running in the same Thread - before the java.until.Observable class continues running? This is important because I will be sending a few messages through the notifyObservers(Object o) method in quick concession, it is important that each Observer class has finished its method before the new one though. I understand that the order of execution for each Observer class may vary when we call notifyObservers() - it is just important that the order of method execution for each individual instance is in order.

  This is probably an easy thing to do but I'm an amateur and things just aren't working for me. I just want to check and see if a row exists where the $lectureName shows. If a row does exist with the $lectureName somewhere in it, I want the function to return "assigned" if not then it should return "available". Here's what I have. I'm fairly sure its a mess. • Page does update with details from the database after i hit a button

  I have a code and the way it should work is,when they click on NEW CUSTOMER,it takes them to test1.php where in they enter the details and they hit submit.it saves all the details in properly in the database and when i go back and hit REFRESH ,it should come up with the customer details which they had entered in previously. But what happens is, when i click on the REFRESH,it refreshes the same old page which is empty.I wanted to find out where am i missing the logic.Thanks in advance.   I am having one GtkVbox and I am adding it to GtkViewPort. View port is created from Glade file. Now the problem is that my vbox keeps updating on every second (I keep adding widgets to vbox on every second) this vbox but my screen did not get updated as add widgets to my vbox. I can't create new vbox every time as I need to keep previously added widgets in vbox. How can I tell GtkViewPort to refresh list when I add new widgets to my GtkVBox?

  Hi, I am working with small ASP.NET MVC project - online store. I have addToCart method which adds selected product to cart - it updates cart table in my db and showing cart view with its content. But I have problems. while db is updating correctly the view does not. I see that quantity of the product in my db is incremented correctly but quantity in view is not changed. I have to stop debugging my app in visual studia and restart it - then my view is showing correct data. What can be wrong?

I need to save the VerticalOffset before and after the hiding of selected text takes place, but with my code below both hiddenTextContainer.PreHideVerticalOffset and hiddenTextContainer.ImmediatePostHideVerticalOffset are always set to the same value no matter what. I have figured out that this is because the text of the textbox has not been updated by the time the code reaches: hiddenTextContainer.ImmediatePostHideVerticalOffset = VerticalOffset; Is there any way I can fix this?

  Hi, I have an XML will is parsed and then fed to a bunch of Labels. I am trying to add a live element so that the labels refresh automatically from the XML. From what I've read this is possible using a tableView and [tableView reloadData] but the design dictates the use of labels. At the moment the labels only get updated on restarting the app, which is not ideal. Using ViewWillAppear is one option, but want to stick to using lables.

If some one has added/updated a user/permissions in next day- if we run a script it should revert all the changes to the previous day status. • Apt-Get Update: failure to fetch; can't connect to any sources

  I realize there are dozens of "apt-get update: failure to fetch" questions (I read through all I could find), but my present circumstance is unique to 12.04 and it affects all sources; not just launchpad. Additionally, I've tried several different servers in Europe and the U.S. as well as the "main server" (wherever that is) and they all yield the same result: I can't connect to any software sources. Additionally, I'm fairly certain the problem stems from the upgrade from 11.10-12.04 I performed this morning, as updates worked immediately before. Updates from the Update Manager worked fine and I could download some things (mutter) from the Software Center without incident, which makes me think I can connect to some subset of the Ubuntu servers (however, several other Ubuntu servers--like extras--and some canonical servers are listed as 'unable to connect'). • 12.04: Apt-Get Update: failure to fetch; can't connect to any sources

  I realize there are dozens of "apt-get update: failure to fetch" questions (I read through all I could find), but my present circumstance is unique to 12.04 and it affects all sources; not just launchpad. Additionally, I've tried several different servers in Europe and the U.S. as well as the "main server" (wherever that is) and they all yield the same result: I can't connect to any software sources. Additionally, I'm fairly certain the problem stems from the upgrade from 11.10-12.04 I performed this morning, as updates worked immediately before. Updates from the Update Manager worked fine and I could download some things (mutter) from the Software Center without incident, which makes me think I can connect to some subset of the Ubuntu servers (however, several other Ubuntu servers--like extras--and some canonical servers are listed as 'unable to connect'). • Have I bricked my Sun V20z?

  I have a small pile of Sun V20z computers. I was trying to update the SP and BIOS firmwares in order to bring them all up to the same standard -- mostly to get the updated (ie actually useful) SP functionality, and figured that I would just do the BIOS while I was at it. For three of the four computers, it worked perfectly. However after the BIOS update, the fourth system won't boot. I did this: batch05-mgmt $ sp get mounts Local Remote /mnt 10.16.0.8:/export/v20z batch05-mgmt $ platform set os state update-bios /mnt/sw_images/platform/firmware/bios/V1.35.3.2/bios.sp This command may take several minutes. Please be patient. Bios started Bios Flash Transmit Started Bios Flash Transmit Complete Bios Flash update Progress: 7 Bios Flash update Progress: 6 Bios Flash update Progress: 5 Bios Flash update Progress: 4 Bios Flash update Progress: 3 Bios Flash update Progress: 2 Bios Flash update Progress: 1 Bios Flash update complete batch05-mgmt $ platform set power state on This command may take several minutes. Please be patient. After an hour of waiting, it still won't start. The chassis powers on, but beyond the fans spinning up and the hardware POST of the drives, nothing appears to happen. So if I try to re-flash the BIOS (on the theory that maybe something went wrong): batch05-mgmt $ platform set os state update-bios /mnt/sw_images/platform/firmware/bios/V1.35.3.2/bios.sp This command may take several minutes. • Error while installing Xtrabackup

  I'd like to install XtraBackup (rpm -i percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64.rpm). During the rpm install it told me that it misses a dependency. error: Failed dependencies: perl(DBD::mysql) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 perl(Time::HiRes) is needed by percona-xtrabackup-2.1.9-744.rhel6.x86_64 Then I run yum install perl-Time-HiRes, and yum install perl-DBD-MySQL. For install perl-TImes-Hires has successful but not for perl-DBD-MySQL. Error: file /usr/share/mysql/ukrainian/errmsg.sys from install of mysql-libs-5.1.73-3.el6_5.x86_64 conflicts with file from package MySQL-server-5.6.10-1.el6.x86_64. I also had try to install : yum install cpan cpan DBI cpan DBD::mysql But still get the same error. So I hope someone can explain me what the right fix is, to get XtraBackup running on MySQL.
