PHP: Iterate through folders and display HTML contents

Hi, I’m currently trying to develop a method to get a overview of all my different web templates I’ve created and (legally) downloaded over the years. I thought about a displaying them like Wordpress is previewing it’s templates view a small preview windows, displaying the concrete file with styles and everything. How to divide them into rows and columns and create AJAX modal window open on preview and pagination and so on I believe I can manage, but it is the concept itself about iterate over several folders then find all index.htm / index.html pages and displaying them. I’ve not worked very much with directories in PHP and the only references and code stumps I’ve found so far is just to list all the files in a certain directory like, what it contains. I would be really grateful if someone knew about a script, a function, snippet or just could get me a nudge in the right direction to create such a (probably simple) preview function. Table and background img problem.

I have a problem with my site.I cant make the table appears on the img. It appears down of the image or up of the image. I need some help with the codes. Actually i dont want the img to reapet and to fit in users window everytime. The code to insert the img is this <body oncontextmenu="return false;" background="bg_body.jpg"> And the code that a actually helped me but didnt solved the problem 100% because table didnt appears with img is this <style>  </style> <img src='whatever' style='width: 100%; height: 100%;' />

Maximum number of bytes that can be sent on a TCP connection

I initially assumed that since tcp has a sequence number field of 32 bits and each byte sent on a tcp connection is labeled with a unique number, maximum number of bytes that can be sent on a tcp connection is about 2^32-1 or 2^32-2 (which?). but now I feel that since TCP is a sliding window protocol, the wraparound of sequence numbers during the connection should not have an affect on the maximum number of bytes that can be sent over a tcp connection as long as the when wraparound occurs the old packet is no longer in the network (it is sent after 2*MSL). What is the correct answer?

In my iPhone app I am developing, I have defined two windows: @interface The_NoteAppDelegate : NSObject <UIApplicationDelegate> { IBOutlet UIWindow *newNoteWindow; IBOutlet UIWindow *homeWindow; } @property (nonatomic, retain) UIWindow *newNoteWindow; @property (nonatomic, retain) UIWindow *homeWindow; and they are linked correctly in IB - but how do I show/hide these windows? [homeWindow makeKeyAndVisible]; works in appDidFinishLaunching but when I try [newNoteWindow makeKeyAndVisible]; again to open the other window (on a button touch event) in front of the other, the app freezes. I know this is a very n00by question but please help me out :)

Mono Ignores Graphics.InterpolationMode?

I have a program that draws some vector graphics using System.Drawing and the Graphics class. The anti-aliasing works, kindof okay, but for my need I neede oversampling, so I create the starting image to be n times larger and then scale back the final image by n. On Window and .NET the resulting image looks great! However, on Mono 2.4.2.3 (Ubuntu 9.10 stock install), the intropolation is horrible. Here's how I'm scaling my images: Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(Bmp.Width / OverSampling, Bmp.Height / OverSampling); Graphics g = Graphics.FromImage(bmp); g.InterpolationMode = InterpolationMode.HighQualityBicubic; g.DrawImage(Bmp, 0, 0, bmp.Width, bmp.Height); g.Dispose(); From what I can tell there is no interpolation happening at all. Any ideas?

Ubuntu quickly (python/gtk) - how to monitor stdin?

I'm starting to work with Ubuntu's "quickly" framework, which is python/gtk based. I want to write a gui wrapper for a textmode C state-machine that uses stdin/stdout. I'm new to gtk. I can see that the python print command will write to the terminal window, so I assume I could redirect that to my C program's stdin. But how can I get my quickly program to monitor stdin (i.e. watch for the C program's stdout responses)? I suppose I need some sort of polling loop, but I don't know if/where that is supported within the "quickly" framework. Or is redirection not the way to go - should I be looking at something like gobject.spawn_async?

Hi, Basically, I'm looking for an easy way (module) to add a private/public option to any kind of content I may published in Drupal (blog entry, image, etc.). So that when I'm logged in, I can see everything. But when an anonymous user visit the site, he will only see the public stuff. It's way to manage a kind of front window/back-store architecture. I can use the same Drupal installation to all my needs and choose to filter the stuff I may want to make publicly available. * Important : 1) Private items must not be accessible even if anonymous users guess its URL; 2) Private item must not show up if anonymous user perform a search; 3) Private content must not be indexed by search engines; 4) Private items should show up if I perform a search while being logged in. Why does GetTextFace always return "system"?

I am trying to get the font of controls in other applications. When I try WM_GETFONT, it returns 0. Can I access the function body of an event listener using nodeJS jsdom

I am using jsdom with nodeJS. I load in a large HTML document, and am using jQuery to navigate the DOM. I have a case where I have an element, and I need to access the function body of an event listener (onclick). The event listener was added in the source HTML: <a href="#" onclick="javascript:window.open('http://<rest-of-url>'); return false;"></a> The onclick attribute of the DOM element is undefined. btw: what I really want to do is get the URL (please note that <rest-of-url> is not what is in the source, a real URL spec is there) that is specified in the source.

iphone web app: open directions in external maps application

I've seen the answers for opening the Maps app in a native iPhone app, but is there any way to do this in a web app? I've tried changing window.location to http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cupertino for example, to no avail. I've tried using a simple anchor tag linked to http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cupertino, also to no avail. Has anyone gotten this to work before? I'm working on a map-heavy application, and I'd like to provide users with directions at the end. I figured it would be easiest to simply open it up in the Map application. Note: I'm currently testing with just the simulator, could that lead to problems? My iPhone is down for the count at the moment.

How do you enter something at a DOS prompt Programmatically?

I have program, that must interact with at DOS program before my program can continue what it is doing. I'm trying to avoid my user from having to interact with this dos program. So, I created a .bat file that does everything I need to do except for the last step which still requires user interaction that I'm trying to avoid. Specifically, the command I type ends up at a dos prompt where I need to automatically enter y and then enter (to say yes to the prompt) and then I want to exit out. Is there any way that I can make this happen automatically without my user having to enter y and enter? Ideally, I'd like to have the console-window even pop up while this is going on.

Can a Javascript bookmarklet overlay an image on a web page?

Can a bookmarklet be used to overlay an image on a web page? Not as a pop-up, but as a image positioned by CSS and with a high z-index to display on top of other elements. And without a mask i.e., Shadowbox or similar jQuery effect. Just an image from a URL and positioned in the bottom left hand corner of the browser window. This is what I have so far, but it may be the wrong direction to be going: javascript:(function(){document.write("body {background-image:url(http://mydomain.com/image.png); position: absolute; left:50px; top:300px; z-index:9999;}");})() I have a JS function that works as a bookmarklet to change the case of text on the page, and now I'd like to be able to show an image when the bookmarklet is used.

Jquery delay timeout function???

html5 video player with simplest controls (only play and paus)

hi guys, somehow there are really little tutorials out there for html5 video and audio playback. I simply want to embed video and audio files with customized controls. However the controls should be farely simple. I only need a play-button. If clicked, play gets replaced by pause. that's all! however i even don't know how to embed/display a video without "preload controls". Somehow if i only set (without preload controls) Firefox even don't shows anything. Chrome does show a black window. I would love to be able to use jquery to control the video play and pause button. Maybe you have some little start-approach for me! thank you very much!

Why is the dictionary debug visualizer less useful in Visual Studio 2010 for Silverlight debugging?

I was debugging in Visual Studio 2010, which we just installed and trying to look at a dictionary in the quick watch window. I see Keys and Values, but drilling into those shows the Count and Non-Public members, Non-Public members continues the trail and I never see the values in the dictionary. I can run test.Take(10) and see the values, but why should I have to do that. I don't have VS 2008 installed anymore to compare, but it seems that I could debug a dictionary much easier. Why is it this way now? Is it just a setting I set somehow on my machine? Test code: Dictionary<string, string> test = new Dictionary<string, string>(); test.Add("a", "b"); EDIT: I've just tried the same debug in a Console app and it works as expected. How can I get the element in which highlighted text is in?

I am trying to learn how to write a bookmarklet where I can highlight some text, click on the bookmarklet and have it tell me what got highlighted. I can get that far, but next I want to know what element that text is in. For example: <div id="some-id">to be highlighted</div> The bookmarklet code: javascript:(function(){alert(window.getSelection();})() If I highlight the text "to be highlighted" and then click on the bookmarklet, it will alert the text. But how can I get the element in which the text is in, in this case the element after that? So the flow is: highlight text, click bookmarklet, bookmarklet tells you what you highlighted and the element it's in. Thanks!

Sending a 'copy' command in cocoa

Is there any way to send a copy (command-c) instruction without using a cgEvent to mimic the keystrokes? I don't have access to the text field in the application I want to take text from, so need to replicate manually copying to the clipboard, and there seemss to be a bug with cgevent posting. According the Quartz documentation, to type a capital Z I should use: CGEventRef event1, event2, event3, event4; event1 = CGEventCreateKeyboardEvent (NULL, (CGKeyCode)56, true); event2 = CGEventCreateKeyboardEvent (NULL, (CGKeyCode)6, true); event3 = CGEventCreateKeyboardEvent (NULL, (CGKeyCode)6, false); event4 = CGEventCreateKeyboardEvent (NULL, (CGKeyCode)56, false); However, if I attach this set of instuctions to an NSTimer, it only works the first time it is fired. example output: ZzzZzzzzZZzzZ (vs expected ZZZZZZZZZ). How else might I send a copy command to the active window?

Facebook like iframe ignores my specified href

I have Javascript that imputes (computes and injects) HTML into my DOM for the Facebook "Like" function. I need to specify a "canonical" URL because the actual URL doesn't reflect all the DOM manipulations that have been made (driven by user activity on the Web "page"). Alas, Facebook's code doesn't use the url I supply but the window.location value (which has #hash aspects that influence the page's presentation, but that aren't accessible to the server). Anyway... why is FB's code ignoring the url I give to it? Get ANSI-colored output from external command

I am writing a small script for watchr that runs my PHP unit tests. Current script runs tests using system() and displays them colored. I am trying to add libnotify functionality, but for that I need to parse the output and match against regexp, so that notification will either display green or red. system() doesn't return output, %x does return, but puts p doesn't display colors, which I need to quickly see which test failed. One option would be to run tests twice - once for display in terminal window, and second time for checking which notification to show, but I would rather avoid it.

I'm making an editor-like program. If the user chooses File-Open in the main window I want to start a new copy of the editor process with the chosen filename as an argument. iPad javascript scrolling

I'd like to get the same behaviour of the native javascript scrollTo function in iPad, just attaching a function to the swipe event and scrolling the content a specific number of pixels. That doesn't work in iPad using scrollTo or several different jquery plugins, like scrollTo or iScroll. I think I'm having problems because I'm working with an iframe, as I have another html document in it, with its body divided in columns, but I'm just showing the first one. The point of all this is that, after swiping, it should show the next/prev column, and I tried scrolling the iframe window or the inner's html body, which actually works in chrome, but it doesn't in iPad.

Excel Add-in memory explosion

I wrote a small .NET add in to excel 2007 that read data from external c++ api and display it inside an excel. The task manager shows that I'm having a memory leak (the memory usage is inflate linearly up to 250MB after whitch it throws an "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources error") but the problem disappears as soon as I minimize the excel window. The api uses delegates to return data and I update it into a dictionary. another thread is updating the excel from the dictionary every second. It is unlikely that the unmanaged code is responsible of the leak. Does anybody have an idea what can cause this? 10x!

MochaUI: 'A is null' when adding columns

I've just downloaded MochaUI, and I'm playing around trying to build an interface. I've successfully created windows, but I'm having trouble when it comes to layouts with columns. I've included all of the libraries in the same order as the demo, and this is in my init code: window.addEvent('domready', function(){ new MochaUI.Column({ id: 'sideColumn1', placement: 'left', width: 200, resizeLimit: [100, 300] }); }); When run, no column is created and I get the error: A is null Does anyone have any ideas? dijit hovering MenuItem issue

I have a dijit.layout.TabContainer on my form. I resize the browser window in such a way that all tabs won't fit in a single screen. In this case dijit automatically adds a drop-down button at the right end of the TabContainer (I get this for free). If I click on the drop-down button then I get the full List of Tab Names. Hovering over the List of Tab Names (which is in fact a collection of menu items) it blanks out the menu item name which I'm currently over. e.g. Full List: Tab1 Tab2 Tab3 Hovering over Tab2 I get: Tab1 Tab3 I get the same issue with any other dijit.Menu, dijit.MenuItem AND I get the same issue on IE, Firefox, Chrome. I haven't tested on any other browser. Thanks.
